Watching telly, trying to decide what to eat, wondering which knitting project I should work on, and trying not to feel too pissed off about my crappy biology class, my crappy financial aid, and my crappy decision to come to this school.

Relaxing after a week of 14+ hour work days. Also becoming increasingly convinced that the kombucha "mother" floating in serene bacterio-fungal bliss in the jar in front of me is smiling. I should clarify that I am, to the best of my knowledge, sober.

Waiting for my mum to get off the phone so we can finish our episode of Gilmore Girls. I'm staying with her a few days and my dad called me, I answered and talked to him for 5 minutes, my mum asked to talk to him before I hung up (they've been divorced 10 years), and now they've been on the phone for probably 20 minutes. I don't want to get too into anything that I'll have to stop when she's done, so I'm just piddling around on the net.

Hanging out with Asher. Rachel and Chiara are going to her parents' to try and help them with cleaning and particularly getting their affairs in order. No one in the family knows anything about their wills, burial requests, lawyer, accounts, the herd of horses, or anything else.

Poor Rachel is really really stressed about a whole bunch of stuff and didn't sleep well so I hope she has a decent trip. At the same time, she's in a fucking shitty mood so I'm sort of glad that Asher and I will be having a weekend to ourselves.

Waiting for my clothes to dry so I can wear a shirt instead of my swimsuit top and wondering what I'm going to do with my week home as I have literally no plans and don't want to do much outside for fear of heat-death.
