We were both morning people and when I would visit her we'd both be up at 4 am and I would just sit in the kitchen with her watching her cook and iron; both of us just chatting away...When I was older I came to also appreciate the incredible margaritas she made...She was an amazing woman....

I worked until midnight tonight, and I have to get up at 7 in the morning to go back in, but it's all good, because my mom's coming down to visit me this weekend and is going to stay a week, so I have all of next week off. Plus I love my job, so that helps a lot too. Here I am yapping way too much when I really should get to bed. Anyway...

Apparently, of all the features of a person’s face, I’m best at the nose. I didn’t even know I could draw noses on screen; I’m pretty bad at drawing noses on paper. I just got a tablet and I was playing with it for, like, five hours yesterday. I still can’t draw on it just the way I want to, not yet, but I tried to do two faces… and in both cases the noses turned out realistic and the rest of the drawing- well, let’s just say that the rest of the drawing did absolutely nothing for my self esteem as a prospective artist.



TPBM manages to repulse most Republicans even without discussing politics or religion.
