Oh, how I wish it were here.

Heat alerts this week - today it is supposed to be 100. Which would be bad, but not heinous ... if it wasn't for the unreasonably high humidity. The wet blanket effect as you try to walk around outside, however, pushes the heinous meter up to "please just impale me on a spit and roast me, because it would suck less than this".

Tornado warnings in Chicago!! Yay. Well, it's actually past now, downgraded to severe thunderstorms. It's cool when it thunders so loud that car alarms start going off.

This morning I was like freezing my ass off. When I got home, it was so damn sunny, that I was sweating like hell and took a cold shower. And now it is freezing cold out there again.... German weather is so damn confusing at times

Our weather has been insane today. I woke up this morning and it was raining on me (damn me leaving the window above my bed open!) and there was an insane thunderstorm going on. I live right on the water so the waves were practically splashing against my house. Then later it was so windy I could barely get out of my car.

And now... its sunny... go figure.

we're having a crazy heat wave in portland. i was gchatting with my brother a minute ago and informed him that i slept on the couch in my living room last night because it's the only room with a/c in my apartment.

he responded with this bit of gross hilariousness:

yeah, I'm trying to decide if I want to go lay naked on the kitchen tile or just drop my balls in some ice water.

i'm going to his house today to drink mai tais and play in the sprinklers with my niece. yay! however, i refuse to do the slip n slide.

Not cold at all but there are clouds and it is raining... When I was on the Reunion Island I watched the meteo here, and even though there were bad storms and stuff, there was also a time were they talked about 30°C in my town... and sun! Now....

oh well... Could be worse ^^

today is much cooler than yesterday. it's about 77 right now and overcast with a chance of thunderstorms (thunderboomers?).

the whole time she was here it was beautiful warm and sunny...now it is raining again, just like before she came...only 2 possible conclusions can be arrived at in this situation...either she brought the sunshine with her and took it when she left or the weather is controlled by my emotions
