Well that was...weird. I guess people can change a lot in 6 months... But how does someone who only ever talked about wanting to do something involving lots of books decide she wants to be a firefighter? And her explanation: she likes the idea of working 24 hours then having 48 hours off. Is it just me or is that a really bad reason to pick a career???

It seems the area manager takes exception to me calling the apprentices helper monkeys:) I'll just call them HM's from now on - lol

Also - how many more posts until I escape the fish bowl, I'm tired swimming in circles!

It's past two in the morning. My neighbours had a party all evening, while I was sooooo damn tired and couldn't sleep from all that noise. Now they are finished, I'm wide awake and can't seem to fall asleep!

Her intentions aren't all bad but she's totally walk-over-my-feelings, push-y and know-it-all-y.

Maybe, just maybe, my world and my feelings are different from hers, as well as my personality.
And maybe I can make my own decisions and maybe those desicions have nothing to do with her, she's just one out of many people in my life and definitely not the only one I talk to so not all I say is about her.
