Today I set out to day to clean my closet and here it is 9pm and all I've done is make a mess in our bedroom. The problem is that I have about a thousand old pictures in there and when I start going through boxes, I end up sitting on the floor looking at old pics, slides, negatives, etc.

For example: I came across a few old pics from 1989, my first trip to Las Vegas and I was shocked by my hair, lol. It was so friggin' long, two-toned and NOT in a good way. My friend Tracey and I decided to use Sun In and Peroxide to "lighten" our hair. Holy Crap, what was I thinking! I'm posting them on Facebook next week because they are just too funny not to share!

There is a silent victim that never gets its due whenever you have to move....yes, i am speaking about houseplants.

My poor 5 year-old philodendron has been shedding leaves since I moved a week ago. I can't seem to find a new place for it that it likes! :sob My other plants seem to be okay for now, but I really don't want to lose this little guy!

My cockatiel is driving me crazy. She keeps shrieking because she's pissed at me, well I'm pissed at her too. I don't have the patience to deal with her freaking shrieking today. :gnome

I have this feeling at the back of my head like I learned something really interesting or important in one of my classes today, but I have NO idea what it was.

I drink a lot coffee. I also get called away from my desk a lot. Sometimes, I come back to desk and find a full cup of coffee waiting for me ... and I can't remember filling it up before. When that happens, I like to pretend little fairies came to my desk while I was gone and filled it up for me.

Or perhaps they're goblins, because they usually fill it up with cold coffee.

My wife's idea of cleaning the kitchen means she left what I hand washed in the drain basket, finished loading the dishwasher and turned it on, and piled more dirty dishes in both sides of the sink.

Jesus. Every fucking day.

We have a beehive in the cable box in our backyard. I mean a serious beehive. The box thingy is about 2' tall and is supposed to be green, but it looks brown because there are so many bees on it. Of course the dogs had to stir them up...the big dog got stung in her mouth and one of the Chihuahua's had several attached to her and I had to throw her in the pool to get them to stop attacking her! Poor little thing! Damn Bees! :gnome :gnome

You and I aren't having much luck with these hives/nests of insects, are we Shel?

Hope the puppies are ok!

I know, right?!?!? They're fine, I gave them both Benadryl and they passed out, lol. True story: My grandfather used to have a dog (Ustes) that would stand in the flower garden and eat bees...he renamed her 'Useless.'

Around... three weeks ago, I was at CVS with one of my friends, waiting for photos to develop. We were looking at all the "graduates" stuff, and saw one of those dogs with the mortar board, one of those ones made for signing. My friend was all "this is so cute!", and we had the idea to find a signable moose. That afternoon, I browsed the internet for close to three hours, and it appears that they don't make them. So over the past week, my step-mother and I have put our heads together to make one! It's really cute... and quite possibly one of the most random thing's I've ever made.

So, my daughter is mothering a baby bird she found a couple weeks ago. She had her out of her cage trying to teach her to eat worms out of a cup, when out of the blue she jumped up and flew across the room...straight to a large wall portrait of my daughter, lol. Confused much?

My boss called today to ask if I could work Wednesday. I happily agreed, even though it would mean a very long day for me, and we proceeded to spend a few minutes working out the details, made complicated by the fact that she needed me until after 5 but I couldn't work past 4:30. Finally we sorted it out, got the details down, and 4 hours later she texted me to cancel.
My work is random and screwy.

I'm watching an ep of The New Adventures of Old Christine from 2006 and just realized that the woman who played Richie's teacher is Jordan Baker...a.k.a Sheila Rosenberg! I recognized the widow's peak, lol.

I'm watching the BEP's My Humps video and I can't help but think that Fergie looks like Ellen Pompeo from Grey's Anatomy.

It is 30 degrees (Celsius) in my living room and 26 in my kitchen... I'm considering moving into said kitchen, but then I'd have to do the dishes. Meh. Too lazy. ^^

I was kinda waiting for an exam and this woman walked past me.. Beautiful! Red curly hair, bright green eyes, just... Hott.. xD

Well anyway I kinda went "Wow" out loud as she walked past.. she said.. "Excuse me" and all I could muster was "You are THE most beautiful woman I have ever seen!" Not actually paying attention to anything I said.. I was just lost at her hotness... Anyway she gave me a hug and a kiss, and thanked me.. my friends staring at me.. I said to them "Thank God that's over.." I went to find my seat.. RIGHT next to the woman.. I didn't know where to look or what to do xD

My dog thinks the pool vacuum is after her. She spends her outside time running around the pool, neurotically barking and growling. It's hysterical! She crouches down, growling and when it climbs up the wall it squirts water at her. Totally freaking her out, lol. :lmao :rofl
