She gives me a kiss, then grabs my boob for leverage and steps over the gate. She looks over her shoulder, giggling..."Thanks Baby!"

I got a call from someone I hadn't expected to hear from yet, and a heads up about the new recruits for softball. A second call with the new schedule and all the pre-season get togethers, AND a call confirming a certain select two players renewal of their seasonal contracts for 2014. These calls were not scheduled to come for another month and a half. Or really not at all if you think about it the only call I should have gotten was the date of the draft party, and then found out there. Yay for being awesome enough that I get heads up calls.

I have tried 5 times in the last 20 minutes to go brush my teeth. *Every time* I stand up to head to the bathroom, one of my suitemates enters it. There are only 2 of them, how can they need the bathroom 5 times in 20 minutes??

Good thing I was smart enough to be a designated driver tonight. We were pulled over by the cops and it could have been a different night let me tell you. Everyone was soooo drunk, but I didn't have a worry in the world. It's scary to think that we're all one bad decision away from changing someone elses life or your own life. Gotta be smart. Some things are just not worth it.

I considered starting a "Stupid Shit I've Done" thread just for this, but after a little consideration it's probably best to find a way to fit it into an existing thread. This is kind of a catch-all thread when you think about it, so why not?

Anyway. I've been gone for a while. Not on purpose, just life, you know? So I'm browsing the Kittenboard for the first time in too long last night, and I'm thinking to myself, "I think I'll wait until Thursday so I can post in the It's Just Thursday, MKF! thread, the very bestest of threads." And not for second, not as I was getting into bed, not as I was going about my day all day today ... did I realize it WAS Thursday last night.

I'm still kerfunkled trying to understand how this happened.

I love gay relationships, I really do, but sometimes in writing it makes the pronouns damn confusing... "She felt her warm hand in her own"--wait what? Is she holding her own hand? And which she is it, anyway? Ugh. I hate having to use characters' names every other word, but sometimes it seems like the only way to have things make sense.
