The Dedication Page

Hi. Everyone out there has a partner or a best friend or a role model. This is where you credit them! It doesn't matter if they never see it. The point is you get it out there. Sorry if there's already a thread like this. Here's mine:

To my little babies Elena, Chant, and Deaton. No matter how far away you are, I will always find time to love you. <3 And to my little Sammy, who made fun of me whenever I did anything, good or bad. I always loved your playful teasing.

I have a fish named Drusilla. He doesn't know, he thinks his name is Drew. Shhhh...

Spike: Are we feeling better, then?
Drusilla: I'm naming all the stars.
Spike: You can't see the stars, love. That's the ceiling. Also it's day.
Drusilla: I can see them. But I've named them all the same name, and there's terrible confusion.

Love this idea! I can think of *so* many people who deserve credit, but I think the most important are:

To my mum, my inspiration and one of the best friends I'll ever have. To my best friend, who supports me in a million ways. To the first girl who ever loved me, for making me realize someone actually could. To the two friends who helped me through the horribly rough patch that was Jr. High. To the little one who opened my heart. To my newest friend who has meant so much to me these last few months and helps me feel better about myself and my life. And to my brit pea, for sharing my cosmic pod and always believing I deserve good things.
"To days to come."
"All my love to long ago.

I hope, we'll have more happy ever after
I hope, we can all live more fearlessly...

My darling wife, of course, and our 3 teeny-tiny babies! Now 15, 10, and 7--not so teeny-tiny any more...

Many of my friends (who are now like family): Rosie, Agnes, Lauren, including my Integral cohort, and my grad school cohort. Too many names to list...

I thought it would be fitting since I doubt I'll be posting on this board anymore to leave my last post as a dedication.

To my mom for always proving me wrong and showing me that despite all of the hell our lives have been she loves me, and is still willing to be my best friend. To the rest of my family for also proving me wrong and showing me just how awesome we will always be, especially together. To my grandmother in heaven for reminding me that sometimes you don't understand why you have to lose someone, but it also doesn't have to break you. To my friends, for being yourselves (if you're on the board and the ones who aren't) and for never failing to give me at least one bright moment every day. To all the kittens, old and new who still come here just remember you're awesome and no matter who you are if you're a kitten I care. Know that someone in this world cares about you, always. I would go through and list names, not just of kittens but individuals but then this would take forever so the only 2 individuals I will say are my mom, and last but not least in dedications my wife. My incredible darling wife who works too hard and sleeps too little. Always there regardless, always making sure our love is strong and our marriage stronger. Forever showing me what it's truly like to have the other half of my soul, even when we have to whisper it rather than shout it from the rooftops. Find love in life, kittens. And learn to forgive yourselves for the past as well as let it go. The children you were, the young adults you became and then overcame, it's never who you end up. Don't let regret tear you apart. To the Kittenboard: For 10 wonderful years, thank you.
