So one of my buds is Lisa Koch, a prominent (in the PNW) lesbian comedian, singer/song-writer.
She and her comedy partner Peggy Platt make up the duo "Dos Fallopia".
Anywhosiwhatzit...
She is a brilliant song parodist and I asked her if she would write a parody song for me about the "dead lesbian cliche" trope that still plagues film and TV... and she said YES!
She said she'd have it for me by the end of June. So I am super-excited and can't wait to share it.
Why did I ask for a comedy number about something so awful? Because if you don't laugh, you'll cry, amirite?
