Kitten Gathering - Las Vegas - Feb 2003

We have been talking for a long time now about a global Kitten Gathering and when and where it would be held. The consensus on the where, pretty much always pointed to Las Vegas baby!



So off to the when? Right now, Feburary 15 - 17th 2003 (Presidents Day Weekend - Tenative) In plenty of time for all Kittens who might like to attend to save up their pennies and join us.



We have some other who's (attending), where's (hotels we are staying at) and why's (gambling and showgirls) we are doing this, to announce in the near future. So for now, save your pennies, keep that weekend open and we can take it from there.

I am contacting the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority about setting up some meeting space for us. So I need the following info, from everyone either here in the thread or at the above email address.



1) You are attending, how many are in your party?



2) Nights you will want to book a room at the main hotel, if you are planning on the cheapest alternative, just say you won't be staying at the main hotel. (applicable dates are Thu 2/13, Fri 2/14, Sat 2/15, Sun 2/16, Mon 2/17).



3) Do you want to participate in a formal Kitten gathering, ala a convention style meeting room? If so, would you like it be a catered type event, which would involve some measure of cost?



That's about it, basically the tourism board will put out a press release to hotels and then they can contact me with what accomadations they can provide. This may allow us to gain a special room rate, and more easily book a space for a meeting. Please get me this info, asap, so I can get the ball rolling.
