Well, well, Kittens, it's been a little while since the last daily thread and I just got out of a chat with a few drunk kitties, thus, this thread. Mwah.



Do you drink or not like to drink?



When was the last time you drank? What do you like to drink? Have you ever gotten drunk? When was the last time you got drunk? Have you ever passed out? What kind of drunk are you? Like, do you turn into a touchy feely, "I love you man!" type of drunk or do you get a but surly and quiet?

I drink once in a while. I am actually halfway through a beer right now (drunk chats really are fun). I mostly drink beer, and don't like the taste of most other alcohol, so I tend to go for fruity drinks if I want some variety. I've been really really really drunk once and that was in June of last year. I did pass out and had to be carried back to my room where I proceeded to puke my guts up.



Thankfully, I was with good friends who took great care of me and didn't just leave my drunk ass at the bar. (I wouldn't really have blamed them.)



I tend to be a touchy feely, "I love you guys!" type of drunk. I know for a fact that I was hanging on, at the least, a couple of people during my big night drinking.







So, what's up Kitties? How are you doing? Having a good weekend? I hope so.



And, of course this is the weekend thread so it's all mostly off topic anyway. I figured drinking was as good a topic to start off on as any.

June... *sighs* If only I could remember that weekend with such fondness. Perhaps I should have gotten wasted. I'm thinking that my Uni years more than covers me for drunkeness until I'm 40. Five more years and it's party on dude.



I love a beer with very hot veggie pizza, a hand tossed crust with mushrooms, thinly sliced tomatoes, onions and black olives. YUMMMMMY!!



I love a margarita poured over crushed ice with a salted rim. I could drink those all night. Some salty corn tortilla chips and very hot salsa. See now I'm thirsty and hungry.



We discovered a malt drink over the holidays and those helped induce some seriously twisted fic.



As for the way life is? I find myself continually screaming at the television. I hate all of the religious groups telling me how god rejects the gay community. It's so f..ked up. If they believe in this god. And god created all things. Then god created love. ALL LOVE. So essentially all these religious fuckers are saying that god is wrong? Is it me thinking that or does it appear logical. Oh fuck it. I've written my 100th letter and the responses are all fucking form letters. I found that the generated ones were getting these stupid replies like they go to junk mail. So I started writing them myself. I'm not sure how many of you got those replies.



I want to put a billboard on the side of my barn in protest. Anyone have a G rated suggestion??

I thought "Ban divorce not marriage" or "Love more hate less" but then I thought that might not be powerful enough.

I have been known to imbibe a few alcoholic beverages now and again.



I drink quite often as it tends to be involved in almost every area of my social life. I'm single so I go to bars with friends to meet women and have a few beers and a laugh in the process. I'm sure I'm not the only lesbian who find's herself in this catch 22. Want to meet a girl but don't want to drink. Not really possible.



My other main form of relaxation is going to see live music so I have a few beers when I go to gigs. Went to see The Libertines last Sunday. I would highly recommend them to anyone, they're a great live act.



I mainly drink beer when I'm out but am secretly a bit of a tequila fiend at home and at parties. I don't like to drink it while I'm out as it tends to lead to me doing something stupid and ending up with a limp.



I have never passed out in my life. I'm a bit of a wimp and tend to switch to water at a certain point in the evening.



I am a very happy drunk. I tend to talk a lot more when I'm drunk and I'm not exactly quiet to begin with.



One of my friends becomes particularly uninhibited when she gets drunk. It's brilliant, she goes around the pub telling everyone how wonderful lesbian sex is and that they really should try it. She even gives her little monologue to tables solely populated by men.

Kathy, Kathy, Kathy. Drunk, Moi? Never....ok, maybe once or twice. The only time I can ever remember (ok, not remember as much as was filled in) getting so drunk that it was unbelievable, was like 8 or more years ago at a party. girlfriend and I broke up, I got a tattoo and judging from the pictures floating around I was "posable" puked in then passed out in the best friends bed.



What kind of drunk am I? I really don't know the answer to that, I would imagine a bit more quite than I usually am, which says pretty quite. When did I last have a drink, hmmm. Last night, chat and vodka. Don’t drink that often to tell the truth though. I am often the responsible one and get called the designated dumbass when I go out. I don’t mind it at all.

I really don't like the taste of alcohol. I'll drink beer now and then, but I don't like it, I just do it to get blasted.



I have recently found my new drink of choice though, Bacardi Breezer. You can't even taste the alcohol in them. I'm in love



So yes, I am a girly drink drunk



What kind of drunk am I? Mostly a 'I love you guys' type drunk. Which is a good thing, seeing as the sober me is such a ball of sunshine.



When I was in HS, I use to get drunk every single weekend with friends. We use to each get a six-pack of really cheap beer and drink that really fast and then go to a club. Then we found Bacardi. Then it became Bacardi and Coke/Pepsi every weekend.



The last time I got really drunk was on my 21st birthday. I went out with my cousin and her bf to a bar and we got plastered. I remember she wanted us to drink until the Sun came up...we didn't make it





Well Kitties, have a great weekend and if you do get drunk, don't do anything really stupid.

Yeah yeah, I was one of those drunks too Luckily I don't really suffer from hang overs. Other than a little thirsty , i ma just fine.



I like drinking but do it a lot less often than I used to. I think I am a happy loud drunk. I like talking so I think that gets a lot worse when I drink I will sing off key as well, love that.



And the weekend? I am feeling good today. I have homework to do but it's not a big deal and I didn't get up early today so that's always a reason to be happy.

Weeeeeee! Happy drunks are the best. I consider myself to be blessed to be a happy drunk, and blessed that all my friends are happy drunks, too. Good times, good times.



I've really only had one bad drinking experience and I chalk it up to lack of experience. I was young and stupid. Why didn't anyone tell me it's really not wise to drink gin and juice, wine, beer, and vodka all in a short period of time? Why didn't someone tell me that when you're at the point in your inebriation where you cannot physically differentiate vodka from water, you really might ought to just stop drinking, sit down, and snuggle up to your puke bucket? Hee, well, I learned the hard way. Fortunately, I was with good friends who took good care of me. I'm pretty sure that rug had to get thrown out...



I don't drink much, but I do enjoy it very much when I do. I'm fond of mixed drinks - margaritas, daiquiris, rum and Coke, Jack and fruit punch, White Russians, probably anything fruity. About the only thing I can drink straight up is Jagermeister. I really dislike wine and most beers, but I do like Boddingtons, Red Stripe, Guinness, Negra Modelo, and a couple others. I'm especially fond of those malternative-type drinks like Smirnoff Ice. Heh, I liked Zima, back in the day, too.



Basically, I think I don't usually like my booze to taste like booze.



In other news, I had the weirdest fucking dreams! I think "Lady Marmalade" is just about the Best. Song. Ever. (The Labelle original, bien sur.) My lilies survived the winter outside and are growing, I swear, an inch a day! They inspire me. Helen Keller inspires me. And, okay, I know that a good-sized chunk of the internet is really, really sick of these sorts of things, but I'm not...yet. Plus, I never thought about it before, but I'm glad I'm not soluble, too. Because that would be quite bad. Plus plus, kittens!

I used to drink when REALLY upset about something or other, and wanting to not be responsible for my behaviour. And that'd be the only reason.

And then I thought "hmmm... sounds like an alcoholic might be brewing" and even though I didn't drink SO often, when I did it was for terrible reasons, and now I don't At All.

Also since stopping I've somehow, completely unintnetionally developed a really vicious stance against drinking. It just pisses me off. Partially in excess because I'm in a college setting, but it just strikes me, if someone cant think of anything more interesting to do than get smashed, i probably won't enjoy their company. So I'm vexed at my "peers" (stupid term...) about that. So dull.

Nothing against a glass of wine at dinner or some such. Not a big deal.

But I honestly have to work to not outwardly react negatively when people I know and respect tell me theyre off for a night of drinking. People I *already* respect and whom I do not want to hate me.

Last I had a drink was almost exactly a year ago. With my now ex. All sorts of guilt issues there. Anyway, got smashed essentially to make myself more comfy in the situation.

oh yes, you can all tell me how f-ed up I am.Don't worry. I know it.

Anyway, the strict opposition to alcohol arose post that last time I got smashed.

That's that. And of course it's the weekend again.

I'd like to play some board games. Just my preference.



oh yeah, but when i am drunk i just get quieter. and kinda serious. not in a silly stupid way. i get sort of, everything is 10times as important and it was way. stoic i guess.

I don't drink, partially because I'm underage, but also because I don't think I need it. I get along fine in social situations, I mean sure I'm shy, but I've got a great poker face and to be honest I'm a bit over-the-top. If I were to drink, I'd probably just be worse.



Then there's the question of hangovers in the morning, and of course, the fact that I hate the smell and taste of alcohol. I'm such a good Kitten. *snort*

i've dabbled in the whole drinking thing. i've had some great experiences and some kind of awful ones. so, for the moment, i'd say that i like drinking but only in a nice comfortable environment with good friends. i just don't feel comfortable drinking at huge drunken parties, which seems to be the thing to do on the weekends these days.



the last time i drank was about a month ago. i'm a fan of stoli and rum&cokes. i've definitely been drunk, the last time was a little over a month ago. thankfully, i've never passed out. i guess it depends on who i'm with when i'm drunk, because when i'm with good company i'm a happy, outgoing (which is fun, as i'm usually quite reserved) drunk, but when the situation doesn't feel right i just get quiet.



woo. i don't really drink often, considering i'm underaged.



this has been one of the best saturdays in recent memory. the weather is arizona was great today. and i got a new jacket.

Drunk in chat? Standards must have slipped since my last visit. I'm a terrible drinker. I have a real fear of vomitting so I usually pass on the alcohol. Lately I've developed a taste for Vodka and Red Bull but I have yet to get drunk. I'm sure that day is coming. And I'll probably be one of those drunks that cries alot saying "I love you. I really really love you. i know you're the bouncer and we met 2 minutes ago, but I really love you ... mate". And then there'll be gratuatious hugging. Woo hoo - can't wait.

Well since this is an off topic thread I feel like rambling.



I actually left the house today, shocking I know. In my line of work I have to be friendly, helpful and outgoing, not to mention the amount of driving I do which is upwards of 400 miles a week not including commute time; it takes a lot out of a girl. So lately by the time the weekend rolls around I tend to want to hide and center myself. So yep leaving and shopping was a good thing. but, I really do like what I do, boss is so happy with me she sent me home with pay on Friday after a half day as a reward for working my lil ass off the last month.



So now I think that I am going to indulge in a love of mine. Cooking! I love to cook! And I do a damn fine job of it if I do say so myself.

Ah last June I remember it well. That was the last time I have gotten drunk and it was on my birthday no less. The first time I have gotten drunk I was like three years old and I had sneaked into the room when my parents where having a party and I sipped the last bits of beer from the empty bottles. It did not take much for me to become not such a shy child.



I only passed out once for a couple of minutes when I was 22. It was at my brother´s house and I was drinking "roset", which tasted more like lemonade than alcohol. I was not feeling much until it hit me like a ton of bricks and I passed out. I came to in the hallway and had puked all over the floor. I remember everything up to passing out and afterward, unfortunately I never suffer from post drunk amnesia. My aunt was there, my cousin was there, my brother was there, his wife etc. I hoisted myself into a cab because I was so wasted I could not ride my bicycle home. The next day I was so mortified by my actions and scared too about passing out that I swore to not drink another drop of alcohol in this lifetime. I kept that vow for over 8 years until I underwent my -eh- gender transformation. I figure this is a new life and I started drinking again for the first time 2 and a half years ago at the Nocturnal convention in London in the excellent company of fellow kitties Puff and Halcyon.



After that I have gotten drunk several times, but I have never passed out and I always remember every embarrassing detail. I don´t become touchy feely, it just becomes easier for me to talk about nothing to people I don´t know and consequently it becomes even easier to talk to people I do know about everything, if that makes sense. I have not gotten drunk since last June. For some odd reason no matter how much beer (or wine or baileys) I consume, I don´t seem to get more than a buzz from it nowadays.



I don´t drink often though, just when I go out on the town which averages only twice a month I think.

I've only ever drunk once, actually. It was at a friend's party in a flat somewhere in London, and I shared a bottle of 40% vodka with some orange juice and a friend. Safe to say, I got pretty drunk, and don't really remember much of that evening. However, I did wake up the next morning in bed with my friend's 28 year old cousin. Which kinda explains why I've only ever drunk once. Never again.

I don't drink. There is history of addiction in my family so if I have the gene, I don't want to take any chances at all. I've had wine at family gatherings when I was younger and I know that I like it so I'm steering clear. Plus since I'm in college it's just something that could complicate my life in ways that I don't need right now

But I love drinking sparkling apple cider. Plus you get invited to tons of parties if you promise to be the designated driver. And of course who doesn't love being the only sober person in a room full of drunk people. Good dear they're freaking hilarsious people. Just fun times...fun times

Many questions!!! But they're fun. We do have some worrying stories to share!!!



Well, I do have to admit, I like to drink The last time was tonight, no, yesterday night, tonight I was still hungover from last night so I thought I'd stick to the non-alcoholic stuff.

I'll drink pretty much anything. For example, last night I was drinking a "Tropical Trouser Snake" cocktail (malibu, lime, vodka, orange and strawberry, I think), with Strongbow (cider) mixed in with it. I thought it was gonna be gross when my girlfriend dared me to, but it was actually quite nice. Problem was, the things are 1/2 a yard long and I drank 3, plus 8 or 9 weird vodka drink things. So, obviously, I was very drunk I had to get up for school today and boy did I regret going out last night!

I haven't passed out as such, but I do have several nights where I don't remember what I did . The last one was just before I told my gf that I like her in about October, and the last thing I actually remember is the bartender at my local pub telling me that he couldn;t serve me anymore because I was too drunk!!! I tried to order a "Malibu and Coke" but actually ordered a "mmmhhhhhfffffffnarrrrr" or something to that effect. Apparently I carried on drinking though, cos my friends were buying my drinks for me. Its something they now regret though, because, first I told some random girl that I was in love with her (or so I'm told, I'm not sure if I believe it or not) and the next thing after not being served that I remember is waking up the next morning, naked, in someone else's bed, without the slightest idea who they were! Needless to say, I ran away quickly!

That's the most drunk I've ever been, but I did have a night a couple of weeks ago where one of my friends who'd only been to my house once had to walk me home because I couldn't remember where my house was! Yes, I need to cut down on the drinking!

I'm a touchy-feely drunk! I tell everyone that I love them, and I'd even told my gf before I told her that I like her, and since then we've spoken about it, and she's said that she was so happy when I said that to her, until she realized I was pissed, cos I do it to everyone then!!! Alcohol also makes me really sleepy! If I've not got too many "interesting people" around me, or if I've not drunk that much, I just fall asleep.

Anyways, look forward to reading more embarrassing stories. I have plenty more if yous wanna hear them.

I get really relaxed and laugh a lot. I've never gotten aggressive, but then again I'm pretty much a pacifist anyway, so it carries through into my drunken state. I'm mostly fine, it's just odd when I burst out laughing for no reason.

I like all kinda stuff pretty much if it is alcohol I'll drink it...my favorites though are Rum 'n Coke, Mudslides, Sex on the Beach, Cranberry and vodka, Screw Drivers etc. My girlfriend enjoys Margaritas but they aren't anything special to me. I stick to Rum and Vodka Tequila is bad for me or so I've learned...but that story comes later!

I'm one of those really loud drunks who likes to ramble on and on...when my girlfriend and I got drunk together last night she put it well that we make the perfect drunk couple together because I'm loud and talk alot and she's all quiet and is like my captive audience LOL. So I could literally sit there and ramble about anything I want like I did last night and she'd sit and listen until she got tired and wanted to go to sleep. I'm also very flirtatious and forward when I'm drunk. If I want you when I'm drunk you're damn well gonna know it...and I usually get my way LOL.



As for being drunk last night was the first time in a long time that I've actually been drunk. Sure on occasion I'll have a beer at my girlfriends over the weekend and stuff. I'm a big beer drinker and a nice cigar will do me fine kinda person. Last night I think I was talking' alot of shit and half of it I can't remember but I came to this so-called revelation that I think as a writer I could potentially write this amazing book while I'm drunk because it would probably make more sense than when I'm sober. I came to this conclusion after my girlfriend asked me a few different words and how to spell them while we were both drunk and all of them I spelled correctly. So you might be thinking "So you can spell while you're drunk why does that mean that you should write a book drunk?" Well, freshman year in college (I'm a Junior now) I went to this concert in NYC with my friend and got completely drunk off my ass and high off some shit I don't even know what I smoked! Anyway we took a train back to our college and it was only around the second month of being at school and only one of my very first trips off campus so I really didn't know my way around. Anyway, my friend who is just kinda absent minded we call her Britney Spears mind you... she couldn't remember the way back to campus and it was like after 2am I think well drunk and high off my ass I was the one (pretending I was an airplane on Main Street!) who directed us safely back to campus crossing a few main roads as well as steer us away from some guys hitting on us. So why do I have so much clarity while drunk?! Anyway, I'll stop rambling now. Just thought I'd share my thoughts on the topic at hand.

Now this is my kind of thread! I could probably count on my hands and toes the amount of times i haven't been out in the past five years, and im being serious! You see, there's a group of us, eight girls to be exact, who scarily enough enjoy doing the same stuff, drinking, socialising, having a laugh, meeting new people and generally having a great time. Most of us met in secondary school, the rest in college, where we all became freakily close and went out every Thursday night to the 'Dome', this kick ass club that played wicked tunes and sold really cheap alcohol, now that's just a recipe for fun! It got to the stage where our college teachers would say we had 'Dome-itis' on the Friday cos, well, we wern't looking our best

We are not your average kinda girls. We are not quite. We drink stupid amounts of alcohol just to see what'll hapen. Shots are a girls best friend..........followed by the toilet a few hours later. We don't particualy care about clothes and what'll happen to them if you say, have a rolling contest at the end of the night or maybe hitch a ride on the back of a lorry because your shoes are hurting, we are purely for the having of fun, and nothing can stand in our way..........except maybe pizza at the end of a long night, then we'll pretty much do what you want, like leave the poor boys and girls alone and go home!

With that all said and done, we really are a nice and friendly bunch of girls......really, we are! We just all enjoy spending time with each other and getting the most outa life, which usually means going out having a drink and more than likely scaring some people...........but it's all good fun!!



Anyhow, onto the questions.



Do you drink or not like to drink? Do i really need to answer that???



When was the last time you drank? Yesterday, it was really, really hot so we chilled out in the garden and had a nice relaxing drink!



What do you like to drink? I'm not all that fussy to be honest. I like 'Sex on the Beach', yummy, but i can't always aford that so i'll drink allsorts.



Have you ever gotten drunk?



When was the last time you got drunk? Yesterday.



Have you ever passed out? Yeah. Once, i woke up in my brother flat after apparently passing out in the Dome. That was in my younger years though, haven't done it since.



What kinda drunk are you? That's a tricky question. I'm a very complex drunk. Mostly i'm louder, take unnecesary risks for the fun of it..........it seemed like a good idea at the time! I like to dance loads when i'm drunk, so i suppose kinda upbeat-happy-think i can do anything drunk. I can have my moments when i get really quiet and really can't be arsed to do anything but watch the world spin!

I still like to drink. I try not to get puking drunk, but, you know, it happens.

I'm still a happy drunk, but, I've found that if I'm not in the sharing mood, no amount of alcohol will get me to open up.

I don't think I'll be drunk this weekend. I have a graduation party to go to and then I think I'll go see a movie, maybe.
