It's New Board weekend MKF, 04/30-05/01

Now that we've been here about a week, are you happy with the new board?

I am. I love it. We had some slowdown problems at first, but everything seems to be going great now. I've always loved phpBB boards and it's great that the Kitten is finally on one. The one thing that I kept doing was trying to use [link][/link] to post links. But now I'm use to the [url][/url] code.

Hopefully we won't run into any major problems and the board will be solid and stable for years to come.

I am very happy with it. Ezboard was a step up from Novogate and this is a step up from Ezboard. If ever this board is out of commission we still have ezboard as a back up. It is much better than the back up board we had.
I think this move has been a positive one, the board is all nice and clean and it encouraged some long time lurkers to delurk and post which is always nice.

I think that's been one of my favorite thing about the new board, seeing people inspired to really start participating. I know it's hard, but (almost) everyone here was a delurking newbie at a point in time.

Six hundred nineteen?!? In a week?!?

I really did not think that many people were paying that much attention back at the old board. Wow. I thought we'd get, maybe, 200 people here...eventually. But so many so quickly is amazing to me.

I am completely in love with this new layout and the quickness of PHP board. I have always been a big PHP fan, but ezboard had been the crave. And now that the kitten board is running on this format, HOLY MOLY, I didn't know it could be this GOOD. This board, my second home, is where the fun is now!!! Thank you for the move. =)

I like PHP and I love the ability to do little things that we never had access to because we were running through ezboard. It is a little overwhelming and the learning curve was high for me but I love tweaking and learning. So, what if I've messed up a few times along the way The server has had its moments, but hopefully those are mostly behind us. Though I think we're having one right now.

I am just really surprised at how many kittens came here so quickly. I worried overly much about how this move would be accepted and how the server would handle it. Just so many things. I am trying to relax now except I just had a "little" car accident and now I have that to worry about alwyas something to worry about.
