The what's on your TV thread

Postby kindagay » Wed Jan 18, 2006 4:02 pm

Well, since I'm usually watching TV whilst I'm on the kitten, & so, don't get much opportunity to post in the "what's on your radio station" thread, I thought I'd start a "What's on your TV" thread.
Basically just, tell us what you're watching, what you've just watched, what you're looking forward to watching soon...

I'll start...
at the moment, I am watching Mad About You.

Hugs
Jeanne

Ugh, my brother's watching CNN in the living room. :angry
As one, they turn to the soda machine. It flies back into the door like a cannonball. Willow looks at it, at Tara. She doesn't let go of her hand.

It's so odd, I was just thinking of the same thing few days ago, coz I too, usually watch tv while posting on the kitten board

I just finished watching Hells' Kitchen. I'm not usually into reality shows, but I like this one coz I like cooking too.

I just turned the television on, and one of my favorite movies is playing...Uncle Buck! it's at the part where he's dancing in the living room with Marcy...Then Shanice lets herself in, only to stumble upon them dancing and totally gets the wrong impression.

*sigh* great flick....

Now I'm watching Made, on MTV and feeling incredibly sad that people don't feel more comfortable embracing their differences. It would be a better world if people could learn to love themselves for who they are, instead of letting other people’s warped views of “socially acceptable” determine their self-worth.

OMG, I'm going to make signs and stand in front of the television in protest here in a few minutes. My wife is watching the Miss America Pageant. How EVIL and SHALLOW! (no offense if beauty contests are your thang To each his own, right? Just not in my house sista!) :fit2

As my sister would say: We don't serve sandwiches here! (sorry, that made no sense...it's like 12:00 in the morning here and I'm very sleepy)

Right now I'm watching Supernatural, but I'm not sure if I'm enjoying it very much.
The tag line is "Scary just got sexy" - okay, so to be fair it's only been on for 15 minutes, but, I have yet to see anything remotely sexy.

Next, I shall be watching Child of Our Time, which I had to record 'cos it was on at the same time as Invasion.

Right at this moment, I'm watching the Australian Open, where the very talented Amelie Mauresmo has a set over Patty Schnyder, and just now has a break point on Schnyder's first service game of the second set.

Ooh, she's got a look at a second serve!

Crap. Deuce.

Advantage!

She's got it :D

I'm half-watching Celebrity Big Brother. It is like watching a car crash - I just can't tear my eyes away.

Oh. My. God. The following words have actually just been said: "You fink you're all about respect? Well, you're wrong. You need to put three little letters in front of that: D Y S. That's right, dysrespect is what you're about"

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the quality of our "celebrities"...

OK, stuff that, I'm switching over. Ah ha, the wondrous Stephen Fry tracing his family tree, this is much better....
