You go through all the hassle of unpacking your laptop, hooking it up, crawling under the computer desk to fiddle with the cords there, and then wait for it to finish with all the programs it has to load, just so you can get to the board for 5 minutes before you have to go to work. (sometimes it's only 3 minutes) and then you end up being late for work and have to come up with yet another story about the 5 mile an hour school bus that you were "stuck" behind the WHOLE time.

Oh, & also, you start paying extra attention to everything (eg. what song's playing on the radio) just so that you can post about them

...when you keep the KB open on one of your Firefox tabs at all times (at work and at home) and refresh every 10 minutes or so.

To set the scene: I drive to work and back. It takes about 15 minutes each way, and I do the same journey every day. I get bored. I play the registration plate game with passing cars where you take the letters and try to think of a word that uses those letters in the same order.

Kitten's names now come to mind faster than actual words. That makes me addicted, right?

PS: I am also a safe driver and hardly ever hit things.

So true! . I still get slightly embarrassed when asked "So, you've never met any of these people, have you?" I suspect there will come a time when I am a lot less concerned....and that brings me back to the topic:
