Six Feet Under

Postby seurat » Thu Jun 17, 2004 8:34 pm

There doesn't seem to be a thread for this show, which suprises me, so I'll start one (my first thread too. Took me long enough.)

The new season opener was on this week and although I found it a bit predictable it was still very good. Claire is my favorite character (gotta love Luren Ambrose), and I really enjoy the art school bits. This year she will apparently spend some time playing for the other team, which ought to be interesting at least.

The show started only a couple of weeks ago in Germany and I`m already loving it! I hope they will continue showing it! :pray My favourite character so far is Brenda, but you can`t really tell yet where she is heading. But she defenitely is something else! :P

Can`t we not suck anymore?! Ellen DeGeneres

having skipped through a download of 'Eurotrip' and read the article its clear she's goign all out to bury the whole 'kid sister' image, which is good of course as it puts her further from ME.

Willow: ...I have to tell you....

Tara: No, I understand you have to be with the person you l-love

Willow: I am

I really hope something happens between Claire and Edie (sp?) played by Mena Suvari. That would just be, awesome.

Well, SFU is one of my favorite shows, and season 4 is coming soon on French cable! I've seen the first 8 episodes, and I was nicely surprised to see Michelle Trachtenberg (spelling?) guest-star on the show, and play a character so far away from Dawn (loved her line "why didn't you tell me you were gay, bitch?" :lol )

And the whole "Claire might be gay" storyline... LOVED IT (and sooo saw it coming) :grin

Long live Six Feet Under!!! :bounce

Where I live they've only shown the first two seasons. But I've seen the third anyway and parts of the fourth. I don't know.. I liked the Claire/Edie thing but.. I'm not suer I liked it. lol. I mean when I watched it I did like it, but when I think about it.. it's just annoying.. sort of..

Michelle was ok I guess but, I liked the second season more than these last ones..

I have to rewatch the first two seasons, it's been a long time (well, it's all relative, but I've sort of forgotten what went on there, was season 2 the one with Brenda's brother?) :sigh

well, I don't recall seeing him much in the 3rd season...

But there was a whole storyline with him, there's even a thing between him and Claire at some point, if I recall...

Lisa dies at the end of season 3, that I'm sure of!

And is it season 1 that ends with Nate taking a scan?

Oh well, good thing there are only 12-13 episodes per season, heh :grin

With Nate taking a scan, that's season 2, that's the last episode shown here.

Yeah but the thing with Billy and Claire, isn't that in season 3, no that's season 2 I guess.. It was a long time since I saw these episodes I guess.. my memory is not great..

heh i saw a couple of episodes of the first serie but never really followed it loads. we watched one episode where the gay guy (maybe he's called david) was fantasising about kissing another guy with my uncle and aunt and sparked a family debate about homosexuality, my uncle thinks homosexuality is the product of a bad upbringing, in a way i feel sorry for his daughter cus she is gay, but i kinda want to see the shit hit the fan cus my uncle can be a jerk. does that make me really horrible?

Wow. Who else caught the last few episodes? I cried my eyes out for the three before the finale, and then, at the end of the finale, I couldn't stop crying. Haha.

That was such a great show. I'll miss it a lot. Queer As Folk, Six Feet Under, what next? : (

I want to watch Six Feet Under the next time season one is repeated on TV. I've only seen one episode, not sure which season it was, and I didn't have a clue what was going on.

It was good to see Michelle Trachtenberg again though.
