The Lake House / Il Mare

It's weird, to see the Americanized version of the Korean film that was the basis of your own fic.

The Lake House opens June 16. It's an adaptation of Lee Hyun-Seung's Il Mare.

I watched the trailer and can't help feeling that Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves don't quite have the innocent romanticism of the original actors. I still want to see it though. I haven't been able to re-read Common Areas since I finished it. Perhaps I might be able to after seeing it.

I saw the trailer too, and since I've never seen the original and have only read 'Common Areas' (if you haven't read this fic, stop what you're doing and read it now. Go. Now.), I can't help but imagine AH and AB in the movie.

Oh, and everytime I see Keanu Reeves, I expect him to say, "Dude!" after every line.
