Imagine Me and You

Salem Witch Trials, koala bears, SpongeBob: what's on TV and at the movies!

No worries :)
Here's the link for the IMAY disc if you're interested:

http://www.playusa.com/DVD/Region_1/CAR ... ou&cur=513

£15.99 isn't bad and their delivery tends to be a little more reliable than stuff I've ordered from the US Amazon site :)
Just a word of warning if you are looking for any other titles, playusa also stock some RCE (Region Coding Enhanced) discs as well as normal Region 1 discs, so it's advisable to check your player can run them before ordering. There'll be a code bracketed next to the title, IMAY is just normal Region 1 as far as I can tell. Most multi-region players can play RCE discs with no problems, but if your player is a slightly older model it's worth double checking :)
And I went and saw the movie again tonight, it gets better on second viewing. Still not enough Lena vest for my liking though... ;)

Picked this movie up today, and so happy I did. It's so sweet and will definitely get played many times.

well, this movie never got it to the big screen in our shores unfortunately but i did get a chance to finally watch and i've got to say that i absolutely adored it! it's a romantic flick i definitely will come back to again and again.

i'm not really good at reviewing/cross-examining movies but in my personal opinion, it's one movie that i'm glad was made... don't get me wrong, it's not perfect perfect, but it is something worth taking the time to watch.

I watched 'Imagine Me & You' yesterday and loved it, and it was only when I had finished watching it that I realised that was Piper Perabo (I've not seen her in anything else) and that she's American. That has to be one of the best English accents I've ever heard. Like 'Better Than Chocolate' the last 10 minutes have been watched again and again. Happy endings all round and a lovely song. You can't beat that. Thankfully it's not on video tape or it would be worn away already!

How beautiful is Lena Headey? Love her tattoo! :blush Actually the whole cast looked pretty damn good.

The Q&A on the DVD was interesting. I don't agree with the actors about this not being a gay movie and what a nice guy the director is.

My one big complaint: not enough Tony Head. He was so good, stealing every scene he was in.

This movie did come to the big screen here, the first lesbian rom com to go main stream as far as I can remember and it was a real treat to get to see it at the movies.

I bought the DVD off Amazon and it has been watched many times over already! Its just sweet, nice, funny, with great talented (and hot!!) actors - which makes it a change from a lot of movies out there.

Tony was hilarious in this movie, he cracked me up constantly.

I love the little interviews they have with the cast. The director does seem like a really nice regular guy. Now I just have to find time to watch with the commentary on.

Finally, after months and months of waiting in frustration and watching all the the short clips and previews that I could watch, I now have the DVD! :party I really like the movie, although I think they could have showed more "Luce and Rachel scene".

Shortly after watching this movie, I watched The Cave and kept expecting Piper and Lena to start making out in the corner of one of the caves.

They are so cute. :kitty

I adored this when I watched it - it is admittedly a little fluffy and unrealistic at times, but overall, it's quite a nice to watch feel good film.

My only complaint is that there wasn't enough snogging. :blush

I loved Imagine Me & You and I completely agree about ASH. He was so funny.

Looks like Sarah Headey is going to be playing Sarah Connors in a Terminator TV series.

We watched it at the weekend and we loved it. I must be getting soft in my old age but I preferred Imagine Me & You to more serious movies like Brokeback Mountain.
