I hated, hated, HATED this movie!

I have a special loathing for First Knight. Sean Connery was good. but that didn't make up for having to put up with Richard Gere as Lancelot. I never wanted to see this movie, but had to endure weeks of "you have to see this movie, I loved it" and was finally dragged along (and yes, they did actually have to physically pick me up out of my room and manhandle me to the taxi) when my friend went to see it for the third time. I hated it. I'm still bitter.

also, Magnolia. I loved the soundtrack, had heard great things about the movie - but it was just a tad boring. It felt much longer than 3 hours.

Titanic. I saw it at the movies, and liked it. I saw it on video, and realised that it wasn't really any good at all.

Dirty Dancing. Somehow, I seemed to be the only 13 year old girl who didn't like it. Maybe if Jennifer Greys' character hadn't been names "Baby" I could have liked it. but probably not.

oh, and then there are most movies starring Mel Gibson. Braveheart. bleh. Payback. I'm trying to forget that I ever saw this.

And lastly, a special mention to "A Walk in the Clouds".

I remembered another one: What lies beneath with Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer. Predictable doesn't even begin to describe it. When he appeared on that boat while she was driving away that movie officially entered my "Worst movies ever"-list.

Also, that movie made me realise that some movies just aren't worth watching. Not even for ~1$.

I was all set for a four day weekend this Easter to kick back and watch films. We picked the lousiest set of films to waste popcorn on! We saw "Signs", the Mel Gibson one? Not even the sight of everyone wearing tin foil on their heads like Hersey's kisses helped the story! I felt like we were shown only half of it to save money! We then watched "AI" and it was even worse! Only Teddy was worth watching, but it was terrible. A rehash of Pinochio, such a disappointment because I expected to see Ashley Scott from "Birds Of Prey" but blink and you'd miss her. That's it, I'm going to read instead!!

You know I should learn not to go and watch a film just because there is someone I fancy in it. I went to see Johnny English just because the ever lovely Natalie Imbruglia was in and I have to say I really hated this film. It was just so lame, even if Natalie’s appearance had me all of a quiver. It was just trying to force me into laughing and it failed, miserably.

While we are on this subject, and I am sure I’ll be smeared with jam and tethered over an anthill for this but I thought Taboo was really crappy as well. It tried to be clever and failed. For the most part the acting was wooden and I’m sure the storyline wasn’t half as appealing on film as it seemed on paper. I think I would have preferred to squirt harpic down my toilet for 80 odd minutes than watch it again.

That day, that day. What a mess. What a marvel. We're all the same. And no one thinks so. And it's okay.
And I'm small. And I'm divine. And it's beautiful. And it's coming. But it's already here. And it's absolutely perfect.

Well, I have'nt seen it as yet, but the review I have read [Ryan Gibley in the Independent] were much of the same mind as Zippy: a poor showing, with the exception of [bless her] one Amber Benson.

If I recall correctly it was mentioned that the cast, in particular AB, wrestled gamely with a duff script, but to no avail.

Oooh, bad movies... YAY..

Ok. Staying away from mainstream, I guess...

'Chuck and Buck'- biggest pile of doggie poop I've ever seen. Only rented it because my brother said "I read a review about that, apparently it's really good"... pfft.

'Higher Learning'- this film screws me up so bad emotionally, I just cannot watch it. I think I get what it's trying to say... but... grrr... it makes me all destructive.

More mainstream... 'Black Hawk Down'- wow, this film was so damn bad. Rented it because of my friends fixation on Orlando Bloom, but after he died, there just was no point in continuing the badness.

And I thought 'Kissing Jessica Stein' was pretty poor.

I don't normally hate movies, because I figure it's a really subjective thing and there's probably someone who loves it, but it's just not my thing. And normally I just forget about movies I don't like. However, I do remember really disliking A Walk to Remember. I am aware that there are people who love this movie, so I won't say that it's terrible, but I was unimpressed with the acting and the script. I think I can blame Nicholas Sparks for the writing. It was like watching a soap opera, but one that's pretending to be a movie. It was very unrealistic, but predictable. The worst part was that the theater was filled with women bawling through it, which struck me as funny. I started laughing and pissed a good number of people off. Then I predicted the last line of the movie and said it right before the actor did, so then my sister and I started cracking up. I got plenty of glares.

How about Lara Croft, or Laura, or Larra Croft (or however you spell the bastard)? It was terrible. I hated, hated HATED that movie. And the thing is, I went to see the abomination dressed in much-too-short khaky shorts, a black tank top and Doc Martin boots. Unpurposely!!! :spin Who knew that was the Larra Croft uniform? I mean, it's not like common knowledge or anything... right?:whistle

Also, the great mystery - has anyone figured out Mullholand Drive yet? :puke

Aw come on. Lara Croft: Tomb Raider had gratuitous shots of Angelina Jolie in silk pyjamas, and in the shower. How can you hate it?!

I hate Chasing Amy. When I saw it I found it quite funny, and I have since realised it is absolutely appalling.

I also hate the film version of Circle of Friends. The plot changes aren't so bad. It's the fact the film's whole tone and message is completely overhauled to give it a "Hollywood" style and ending. The book is about a girl's life rather than being a romance as such.

Circle of Friends was the first movie I ever walked out on. I just had no patience.

A Walk To Remember-I really didn't like this movie at all and my girl at the time liked it alot. Should have known we weren't going to make it.

And there's this movie about a couple of kids played by Reese Witherspoon and Ethan Randall? before they were famous crossing the desert. Really bad movie. My friends and I made cracks the entire time. Can't rememer the name though.

I really dislike any Vin Diesel movie. I did like Pitch Black, prob because of Claudia Black more then anything, but all his movies are the same these days. And he has the same expression on his face in all of them. More grand 'boys with their toys who get the chick and blow up shit' movies. Why is it that every leading man, in the end, has to be in some epic hero type movie? Anyway, as I was sick today I needed DVDs and two out of three where horrid. Resident Evil and XXX. I found Ghost Ship to be bearable only because Julianna M. was in it and came off rather butchy. And speaking of butch and horrible movie, Steven Seaga’ls latest drivel… name… name… something with Dead, ah yes Half Past Dead. To my delightful surprise it had Claudia Christian in it. And boy was she, hehe, fun to say the least.

Any movie that has poorly executed "Oirish" accents in it really makes me cringe. I mean, it's not like there aren't Irish actors out there who can do the job properly, right? So very annoying. Bad accents. Bleh.

Frida ... I absolutely loathe that movie! I watched it waith my Mom who cried her eyes out (why will remain a miracle to me) and then said, when I asked her why she liked it so much: "This vitality, this energy...it touched me immensely." and then we had to go and check out guys.

The dance is awesome, though.

Four Feathers ...my friend Jenny and I watched it and after an hour we couldn't help but crack up everytime they delivered another lame line or did one of those odd cuts. It was brilliant! We were the only ones that laughed.

Episode 2 or whatever the name of that stupid Star Wars movie is...the one with Hayden what's-his-face and Natalie Portman. I've never been so bored in a movie theater before.

A Far Off Place. And now he goes by Ethan Embry. I liked that movie when I saw it. When I was 14. I don't know what I'd think of it now though. It's always disappointing to watch things you loved as a child and realize that you just can't enjoy them as much anymore. :(

Eeeeeeeeeew. And speaking of which – as a kind jest for the holydays the principal of my school thought it would be nice to have the senior classes watch a good movie in the auditorium. I don’t' remember what it was supposed to be, but I know that I'd seen it already and that it was so good I didn't mind sitting through it again. But guess what? They LOST the friggin tape; we had to sit through a screening of XXX. Isn't that splendid? :puke

And on the topic of Star Wars – who else wanted to shoot that annoying jumpy thing with the long flappy ears? Cause I was practically scanning the for someone with a loaded weapon.

I did. The Forrest Gump of the Star Wars universe. That was the most annoying character in Sci-Fi since Wesley Crusher and Neelix. Jar Jar, they should have called him Barf Barf.

My God, I forgot all about "Bram Stroker's Dracula". Now THAT was a bad movie to avoid. And I swear that in that laughable scene which zooms (with an excrutiatingly pretentious piece of camera work) onto Keanu's reaction shot of seeing Drac in London and proclaiming that "he'd turned all young", he sounded exactly like Ted (of those lame-o "Bill & Ted" movies). DUDE!

At least he's easier to ignore in "The Matrix" when compared to the - ahem - 'visual' splendor of Carrie Anne Moss in black leather. Mmmmm, Carrie-Anne in leather. Nummy.

The only movie I ever walked out on was "Footloose", one of those dumb made-for-teenager movies my brother wanted to see.

The only movie that disappointed me where I sat through the whole thing was "Dune"; had no soul and precious little humor (what is it about Sting ending up in really bad movies despite his talent?).
