We finally finished S2 last week. Wow! That was a heck of a season. I'm looking very forward to S3. I've been googling some sites to try to find some Veronica/Mac fanfic, but so far have only found a couple of stories. The writing on this show is phenomenal.

Season 2 dvd's are out now, ,just bought it so I haven't had a chance to watch any of it yet but it looks like are more extras this time.

Can anyone who owns the discs tell me which disc the bonus features are on? I've seen all of S2 and probably won't buy them, but would like to Netflix the disc(s) with the gag reel, etc. Thanks in advance!

I finally saw the preview of the "The Welcome Wagon," The Season Three premiere of VM.

There is a shot of Veronica and Mac giving each other high fives, one shot of Keith praising Veronica for being a hard-working college student, and one of her and Logan Kissing(yuck).

I am looking forward to the ep. October 3rd can't get her fast enough.

FIRST DAY OF COLLEGE – Veronica (Kristen Bell) is in true form from the moment she and boyfriend Logan (Jason Dohring), along with close friends Wallace (Percy Daggs III) and Mac (Tina Majorino), set foot on the campus of Hearst College. Wallace enlists Veronica’s help when his new roommate, Piz (Chris Lowell), has all his belongings stolen. While working on Piz’s case, Veronica learns that the campus serial rapist has struck again. Meanwhile, Keith (Enrico Colantoni) runs into trouble while transporting a recently released convict across the country to reunite him with Kendall (guest star Charisma Carpenter, “Charmed”). Francis Capra, Ryan Hansen and Julie Gonzalo also star. John Kretchmer directed the episode written by Rob Thomas (#3T5801).

The featurettes and gag reel are on disc 6. Each disc has the deleted scenes for the episodes on that disc. The featurettes are pretty interesting. Definitely netflix them.

Oh, I really don't like that...whatever they did to the music makes it seem so...dull. There was just some sort of gloomy feeling about it. The new look is okay, but it feels a bit too grungy. Although the Veronica's roomie is pretty hot.

The episode was really good. I agree that watching it on the tv is better, but I'm going out of the country next week so I took advantage of it. Plus, no commercials. Yay!

I loved the ep! This is a great season opener. Veronica is definitely going to have her hands full this year. I could have done without the Veronica and Logan bed scene and all of Dick's asinine behavior though.

I love the new character Piz. He is a lot better for Veronica than Logan

Parker, Mac's roommate, will probably change her behavior after tonight.

Veronica now has two best friends, and I love all of the interaction between her and Mac. As usual, Wallace is Veronica's #1 fan.

I loved it! I'll take my cue from DrG and wait to discuss the details until most people have seen it. However: best show on television (or at least in a tie with Battlestar Galactica). How funny was it that they kept saying "frak," by the way? Hee!

I certainly agree about the quality of the opener--first class in every way!

I, too, enjoyed the "BG/frak" references--I wonder if the producers or their companies are in any way related??

Talk about a cliffhanger!!!! We are left with Kendall dead (DAMN--I was looking forward to more appearances by CC [grrrrrrr]) and Keith's life hanging in the balance--I can hardly wait to see what happens!

Intriguing to note Veronica's reaction to the question about Logan being "her boyfriend".....hmmmm.....He's a boy, he's a friend, he's her lover, yet she won't come out and say "yes" to that question. This is going to get interesting........

No surprise here, I loved it too. From the classroom scene where VM put the snotty TA in his place - daring to suggest she might want to take an easier course grrrr! - to the cliffhanger final scenes with Keith standed and Kendall dead (awww), and Mac's roomate being the last victim of the campus rapist. Great stuff.

Mac was awesome as always, so glad we're going to see her every week. Wallace was good as well, and hopefully they'll work the other returning characters in soon. Logan was ok, and I actually felt a little sympathy for Dick at the end, which I never imagined would happen in a miliion zillion years. He is horrible though, isn't he? The new roomate guy and obvious new love interest for VM seems ok, but time will tell.

The wriitng was so good throughout it made me a little sad because I'd just watched GG before that and VM is so much better now, when you see them back to back like that it's even more apparent. So many good lines, good action scenes, and fine acting, the show is just a treat to watch.. I so hope it did ok n the ratings.

Lacking any spoiler knowlegde, I wonder whether Kendall is really dead or whether they are trying to fool Keith into thinking so. I can´t think of a good reason for that though, but we did not actually see anything. I can´t believe Keith would leave his gun in his glove compartment and not on his person where a convicted criminal would be less likely to get a hold of it, but so he did. I do not feel so sorry for Dick, never was a Dick more deservering of the name, given what he encouraged his little brother to do to Veronica when she was drugged. I feel he should get a room in a hotel of the state instead of one at Logan´s appartment. As it is, I am glad they showed that he is capable of some recognizable human emotions though, he was becoming a bit too one dimensional obnoxious. Btw, didn´t we already have a haircutting/rape in college story on Veronica last season? I need to rewatch it, I am getting forgetful in my advanging years.

That was a fantastic episode indeed! I adored the Mac/Veronica interaction. I love Mac! Parker is the perfect roommate for Mac. That should be quite amusing. I am bummed about Kendall. I liked her. I was quite surprised when I actually felt bad for Dick. Yeah he has been completely one-dimensional but I really didn't expect to feel bad for him that quickly. His life has sucked.

"What did you do for the other ten minutes?" Hahahaha!! His expression was priceless.

In last season's The Rapes of Graff, V's ex-boyfriend Troy is accused of rape at Hearst. She proves Troy isn't the rapist, but Veronica never completely solves the case.

Ok Hem, I'm just back from getting deeply spoiled everyplace I could find, and nothing I read mentions Aly being on next weeks ep, or any time soon I'm afraid. No one rules it out though, so maybe at some point if she has time.

You're not the only one who seems to think Kendall might not be dead G, there seems to be some speculation about that but it might just be wishful thinking. Maybe CC is the one appearing in the flashback? That seems more likely. Anyway next ep looks great and not to be missed, Aly being in it or not.
