I thought the first part was good. Lots of tornadoes. You just really can't go wrong with so many tornadoes. The second part got bogged down with the stupid save-my-pregnant-wife and save-my-shot-daughter drama, I thought. By the end of it, I just wanted them all to die already so I wouldn't have to watch their horrible acting and listen to their whining. All of them but Nancy McKeon and Dianne Wiest, that is. Those two can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned.

I can´t find a download dammit. Anyone know where I can find a bittorrent? Pwease? I really like Diane Wiest, if she is in it, it can´t be all bad. Oh and tornados are almost always great, but in the Day After Tomorrow I was disappointed by the crappy effects. Are the effects good? A la Twister?

The effects are varied. Some are quite good like in Twister, some are like those in Day, some are downright cheesy like only half the CGI was done. Thet logic behind the whole thing and the logic behind the characters' actions and choices is often questionable, but it's fun to mock nonetheless.

Locusts was on last week and it was pretty amusing for a made-for-tv disaster movie. It had the awesome bonus of Lucy Lawless, which of course helped immensely. Lucy sigh.

Heh, there were some locusts too. And Pacey's gay brother, Doug.

I saw that one, since Lucy was in it, it was a must see.

It's always great to see her on TV, she still looks amazing, as beautiful as ever
