The Handmaid's Tale - Harsh, Terrifying, Brilliant

Anyone else watching this series on Hulu?

It's an excellent adaption of Atwood's novel... and particularly frightening given our current political situation.

The end of third episode left my wife almost inconsolable. So it is capital "I" *Intense*.

But I also think that this is an important show that needs to be shared with folks who otherwise might not watch it.

If we aren't careful, this could be the future ahead of us.

Nothing is scarier than having the reason why a dystopian society exists and recognizing those exact same things having already happened, or in the progress of happening, in reality RIGHT NOW.

What are your thoughts, Kittens?

Cheers

Prolly not gonna see it. Was traumatised enough when I read the book all those years ago. To see it played out in live action? There isn't enough Xanax in the world.
