Hello kittens!

Mods, if this is the wrong place for this thread or if we have one similar, please feel free to delete this or move it elsewhere.

I've just started watching this show and gotten in to it. I love Chiana!!! :heart She's sooo cool!

I had a few questions, that's my main reason for this thread.

For any spoiler people out there, does Chiana ever hook up with any of the other characters? I'm just curious. I think her and John have chemistry.

I don't know what everyone else thinks.

The episode on tonight is the one called, "Picture if You Will," the one where the painting shows the crew what is supposed to happen to them? When Chiana was burnt up and reduced to a pile of ash, that freaked me out! I'm glad she's okay now. I don't even know what season this is in.

Chiana doesn't die, does she? :pray

Anyway, I just thought I would start a thread for this show. Hope there are more fans out there. :)

Chiana doesn't die, but she does hook up with another person on Moya. I'll leave who it is as a surprise. I love the way the actress moves, conveying her alieness far more effectively than simple makeup could.

Thank you, DMW. :kiss :bigkiss

You know, you could just tell me who she hooks up. ;) I've had a hard time keeping up with the constant watching.

You know, it's funny you should mention how she moves. I think she's awesome. I love her laugh, too. There's just something about her that makes her super sexy! I'm not sure what it is, though.

Please tell me it's not just me who thinks she's sexy? :blush

Thanks again, DMW.

You're definitely not the only one who thinks Chiana is sexy. (-; There's this great scene where John walks in on Chiana and D'argo, but you did ask to be spoiled so there it is.

Have you met Scorpius yet? He's my favorite villain, well, actually character, on the show. He's much more interesting than Krais who's the villain in the first season.

Um... I don't think I've met Scorpius yet, but then, I just started watching recently. They are showing season 2 right now. I think it's on the fifth episode tonight.

D'Argo... he's the one with the beard, right? Hee... John walks in on them? :lol Do you know which season, or which episode that is in?

Yeah, D'argo's the furry tentacly Luxan with the long, poisoned tongue. The episode's definitely in season 1 or 2. I think it's somewhere in the middle of season 2, but I couldn't figure out which ep from the episode guides at the BBC and elsewhere.

I think Gigi Edgeley who plays Chiana has circus training, hence her movement style! And yes, Chiana does hook up with D'Argo, but the little minx flirts with EVERYONE including several girls in S4!!

Claudia Black (Aeryn) is also fab!

Re: Farscape

Aeryn doesn't do anything for me; I don't see what John sees in her. I also can't believe that John really has a PhD in some form of physics, but he's a great character, especially in humorous situations. The actor's a good comedic writer too, having written great episodes like "Crackers Don't Matter," one of my all time favorites.

p.s.: Jenn, I just saw your John and Chiana avatar. What episode is that one from?

<----- This one? It's from Season 1, the finale: "Family Ties." It's towards the end of the episode. Chiana was trying to thank John for saving her life, in the only way she knew how.

Hope that helps you. :kiss

I have to say that what I have seen of Farscape I have enjoyed, but I come to it so infrequently I end up having to ask my 'more-in-tune' workmates - 'what the F*** was going on in Farscape last night'. To date I have'nt had particulary illuminating answers :)

Hee... I'm right there with you. I'm still catching up. I've seen most of Season one and all of Season two now. I just have two more seasons to go now. :lol

I'm still all crushed out on Chiana though. I grow to love her more and more with each episode. :drool

I like Chiana a lot as well.

I keep meaning to go to the local library and grab the season DVDs so I can see a few of the episodes I missed.

I really enjoyed Farscape, it was one of the most original SciFi shows I have seen in a very long time. And yes I loved Scorpy as the bad guy. And "Harvey" as well. ;)

Plus, I did like they whole John and Aeryn relationship. I would not call myself a shipper, but I did enjoy it.

I just picked up the Farscape RPG (what? It's what I do.) And I am looking forward to see what it has to offer in terms of a SciFi game. Never much cared for SciFi games to be honest.

I finally got to see the all the parts of the multipart episode "Liars, Guns, and Money." Great stuff from the bank robbery with the ship-eating money to Scorpius' courtship with the gorgonesque Nadira, though of course, John and Scorpius' interactions are the best.

Jenn, I'm with you on Chiana til Sikozu comes aboard in season four.

Webwarlock, I agree about SF RPG's. I've never found one that interested me as much as the fantasy ones, even though I like reading SF better because there are more original ideas and characters.

Edited to add: Jenn, you got me watching the Farscape reruns, especially as SF stopped showing Roswell in the middle of season 2, leaving me with no SF TV to watch.

I just saw the episode where Crichton got split into two copies of himself and marvelled again and how interestingly Farscape handled this idea compared to any other show that I've seen. I love how they wrote a big story arc around the idea, dividing the cast into two groups with one Chrichton for each (and you have to sympathize with the one who gets stuck on Moya without Aeryn), instead of wrapping it up all too quickly in one ep like most shows do.

Grrrr... I don't know what's up with them stopping Roswell in the middle of Season 2. I've seen all the eps and have them taped, but I'm missing an episode and parts of others. It makes me mad. Do you know if they are going to start showing the eps again?

Ooooh... yes... they did handle the two Johns very well. I haven't seen the rest of Season 3 or 4, but what I have seen has kept me hooked. I'm spoiled on what happens to the two Johns, but it's still fun to watch. :grin

Hee... I was watching, "Losing Time," last night. Too bad I couldn't have switched places with John! :drool DUDE... Chiana! She was soo sexy while she was, "under the influence," so to speak.

:thud

GOD! was she ever! Too bad they didn't kiss though. :sigh Oh well. I think her storyline after this, what happens to her I mean, is very cool! Except for the way it ends at the end of Season 4. Talk about a cliffhanger, for Chiana and for John and Aeryn.

Maybe I'm just in denial, but I don't think a pile of dust=death! I think they are still alive. I guess we'll never know though.

I don't know what's supposed to happen with Roswell, but I'd like to see the remaining half of the series.

The series finale was quite a cliffhanger, but I'm glad they didn't cave and try to wrap everything up and I'm quite happy with how Scorpius is doing. I'm not quite sure when they managed to get me to switch viewpoints from John's to Scorpy's, but they did. Someone needs to stop the Scarrens and Scorpy's the person for the job, especially with Sikozu's help. They do a good job of never portraying either as right and keeping their misunderstandings of each other's characters believable, with John being too heroic and Scorpius being too pragmatic to understand the other.

:bigwave Hey scapers, well sort-of-ish. At least you guys like the show.

It's killing me that I haven't seen all of season three, let alone season four. But that's mostly because down under our tv channel execs kinda really really suck. They'd rather show twaddle like the Bachelorette, Backyard Blitz, Survivor and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire instead of quality programs like Farscape, something which doesn't make you want to take an axe to the tv set.

I mean they could put it on anytime. Stick it into the 3am timeslot, I don't care! I'll still drag my tired body out of bed to get up and watch it. Bloody channel 9, think they can screw around with our feelings, just cause they have......

:rage

Ahem, sorry. It's just when I get going I find it hard to stop. Anyway, um yeah, Chi and Rygel, or should I say Buckwheat, are my favourite characters.

Not to spoil the happiness, but it will probably turn out to be like a stand alone series or something. They'll probably have it so it doesn't actually tie up anything with what they left. They'd have to have more than 4 episodes to do that.

I could be wrong though and let's hope I am.

As long as I get to see Chiana one more time, I'm happy. :heart :drool YUM!
