Here's a description of the show:

Courteney Cox stars in this new drama from FX, and also acts as an executive producer. The series follows the exploits of Lucy Spiller, an executive editor at 2 tabloid magazines. Lucy possesses the power to manipulate the lives of celebrities through the articles she prints in the magazine. Leo (Will McCormack) is her brother. 13 episodes have been ordered for Spring 2007

The reason this will be a can't miss for me is that Carly Pope is part of the cast and she'll be playing a lesbian.

The upcoming FX drama series Dirt, starring Courtney Cox as a paparazzi maven who will do whatever it takes to get good gossip, features Carly Pope (Popular, Itty Bitty Titty Committee) in a recurring role as a gay drug dealer. Pope's character Garbo is introduced in the third episode, and appears in several episodes after that.

I haven't seen a screener of the series yet, so I can't comment on her performance myself, but according to our sources, Pope is "amazing" as Garbo, and "born to play this role".

The more I see of the longer previews, the more intrigued I become. The show looks wonderfully trashy.

those are definitely the words for this show-wonderfully trashy-i thought nip/tuck went far with sex scenes but this show had me checking to see if i wasn't watching "skin"amax. Loving the concept of some tabloid editor having almost mafia-like power in hollywood. courtney cox playing the heavy(but she's got a heart buried somewhere under all that ice as evidenced by the last few minutes) was very good i thought especially when she rolled out that tape of that actor's wife. so far-very good-definitely has me wondering if this is what really goes on in hollywood and tabloids in general.

Really looking forward to it. I liked Nip/Tuck but it got WAY too deep into the pathos of the characters. I normally don't mind that but when they cross the line from merely disturbed to sociopath that's when I tend to bail.

I thoroughly enjoyed the pilot episode. I can't wait for episode 3 when we get to see Carly Pope! She's the real reason I'm tuning in at all but it seems like an interesting show. The schizophrenic photographer is my favorite so far but Courtney Cox definitely fills the role of the bitch perfectly.

I've seen the first two ep's but they haven't drawn me in like the first episode of Nip/Tuck did. Now, I know that they're really in the same vein, but they way they hyped the show I was expecting... I dunno, more I guess.

I like the Lucy character but I think she fills the stereotype... you know, the hardened woman who'll do anything to get what she wants and doesn't have any kind of relationships. Although, I like that she has a soft spot for Don.

Anyways I'm gonna give it a few more episodes before I give it up... or not.

I think this show is hitting its stride. The first couple not so impressive, but this one was good. It was fun. There was much plot advancement. And of course Carly finally showed up! HOT! And she's gay, god bless. I am hopeful we'll get some girl on girl action since this show doesn't seem to shy away from that, witness Grant Show giving head!

I also love that photographer, he's so crazy but I like his scenes and I couldn't believe he cut off his own finger. Wow.

I hope next week, we have some more Carly.

The first two episodes were ok, but the last one was good. Of course that just might have something to do with the fact that Carly was on.

I like Lucy, she can be a nasty bitch, but I like that. The schizophrenic photographer is fun. The finger thing, WOW, now that's dedication to your job.

And for those who don't know, the hot blonde that Carly kissed, Willa, is played by Alex Breckenridge. She played Amy in the original D.E.B.S. short, the one that was Clare Kramer's lover. Alex has kissed some very hot women. Very lucky girl.

You already know that when Jennifer Aniston guests on the March 27 season finale of Courteney Cox's FX drama Dirt, she'll be playing her bosom buddy's archenemy, a rival tabloid editor. But what I've learned — muahaha, exclusively! — is that Aniston's character is a lesbian. What's more, she won't just mouth off to Cox's tightly wound counterpart, she's going to share a liplock with her. Did you guys watch Dirt last night? I'm wondering if it's worth watching. i.e. is Garbo in it? Hee. I didn't watch eps 1 and 2 but watched 3 just because of her, and I must agree, it was great seeing Carly Pope on TV again and in a kickass role like this one.

Garbo has been in the last 3 eps and carly is way hot! I mean HOT! She really has some sex appeal that has some of us wondering if we' d take some drugs if she offered. It's unfortunate I am not into her love interest on the show, but they've shared quite a few sexy scenes. It only looks like it's getting hotter!

I just hope Garbo hangs around as a character. My understanding was that she was an informant to the tabloid but that hasn't happened so far. I feel that as long as her connection isn't to Courtney, her position in the show isn't as secure. We'll see. For now, more Garbo please! HOT!

Oh, yes, Carly is the only reason I'm watching this show. She's so damn hot. I'm really not into crazy Laura, but I hold out hope for some crazy Hollywood party where Garbo supplies the drugs and makes out/has sex with a ton of hot chicks.

Carly is indeed HOT. She is the best thing about the show, by far.

I don't like Julia either, I'd much rather have Garbo with Willa, but at least Garbo has a storyline.

Well, that was quite a finale, with a terrific cliff-hanger leaving us wondering who will survive!

I thought that JA did an excellent job as Lucy's rival, and I especially enjoyed this bit of dialogue--

Lucy: What happened between us was just a one-time thing.
JA: Actually, four times, but who's counting?

Interesting hint there of a "bi" past for Lucy.
