Aliens in America

I've not yet seen a thread for this show, so *shrug*... thought I started one myself .

Anyone following this? Sarah and Lori gave it a thumbs up at AfterEllen.com, so I figured why not give it a try? I've only seen the first 2 eps so far (others are hopefully finished dl-ing soon ), but I'm already addicted! The only downside I can think of is that it's only 20 minutes long... me want more!

I think it's cute. It turned out much better than I thought it would (there was some pre-season "buzz" that the producers were having problems with it), but the writing is refreshingly lacking in stereotyping and the cast is uniformly appealing (I especially like Amy Pietz and the young man who plays Rajah).

I especially like that the episodes are emotionally honest without being overly moralistic or "jokey" in the usual sitcom manner.
