No.

But I'm quite fond of making fun of my friend for watching it. :p

Haha, sorry. Carry on. :D

I keep trying, but aint warmed to it yet. Still, loving the clothes and the little bitchy exchanges, might keep giving it a go still!

Sadly, yes. But I hate myself a little for watching it. Does that help?

You´ve made me curious so I downloaded a few episodes. I just saw the first 2 eppies and I´ve seen enough to know I want to keep on watching because I find it enjoyable and I have no qualms about that at all. Unlike most voice-overs in tv-shows or movies, it does not annoy me on this show. That probably has a lot to do with my respect for Kristen Bell. It may all be very familiar territory that gets trodden here, but it happens to be a territory I like.

Once you get past the initial distaste at the way almost all of them behave, it does become somewhat addictive. I guess one of my problems is that it has been getting so highly praised in some quarters that after viewing some of the less successful ep's I wonder whether they are watching the same show. But I do love Leighton Meester in this and I have watched every episode, so it does have some good qualities. And it will be back next season, so it has a chance to get better yet.

Nah. I was gonna check it out, because I heard that there's some pretty good HoYay between the female leads, and I'm always up for some new femslash. But then I heard that there's a male character who's a rapist who's the big heartthrob on the show, and decided no thanks.

So at first, naturally, I mocked my friends that watched it. But one night I was forced to watch an episode and found myself somewhat interested by the end of the show. I watch the next one live with them and became emotionally invested. It's a lot easier getting sucked into something with the right buncha people to watch with.

Anyway, these guys do really funny things with each episode, great commentary and then they give points for things realistic and subtract for un-realistic, then average it out. It's hilarious and just funny to read. http://nymag.com/daily/intel/tags/gossip%20girl
