She is part of that Utter dumpster fire!
I liked the books, up till the last line which was so cringe it kind of ruined everything for me. The whole of the last chapter really. Although I still bought and have the sequel series to read.
Its like they took the book and thought, yeah we can make this a film but lets not include the good bits or let the characters have super shallow relationships. A moody teenager is enough to portray a child who has grown up knowing they are the last of their civilisation and fears every day that they will gain a new scar on their ankle and a shifty neighbour turns out to be a predator hunting them down, meaning they have to run for their lives and pack up, gaining new identities losing any connections made, truly isolating them from everyone and everything except their guarde. Or the fact they cant meet up with any of their kind because it would break the chain and make them all vulnerable. Ok I hear that, so you're saying moody with stubble?
The book aren't brilliant but I enjoy the sci fi premise. But whatever that film was, was not I am Number four. It was media presumed sexy (actors in their 30s probably) teens trying to do spacey things while fighting tattooed skin heads.
That film is a one watch and rant for life film. Never re-watching it.
