Er.... hey hey.

A few songs by me... nothing special but what the hell... I'd like to share all the same. Here are two songs, posted primarily for Washi's benefit. They're both written partly about me and partly about, and for, a girl I wuv. (Awww. lol)

SOFTER SIDE

Standing at the gate

You know I just can't wait

Judgement day, what can I say

Tomorrow came too late

Still running away

From the things I have to say

But you know the score, I love you more

And what would you say

If I cried; If I told you I was terrified.

Would you think I was just trying to show my softer side?

I didn't know it was this hard

To get into your heart

But I won't stop, no I can't stop

I'll tear myself apart

Wondering where I am

And if you give a damn

And if you care, that I'm so scared

But would you understand?

If I lied; If I spent my whole life trying to hide

You wouldn't know that I'm just trying not to show my softer side

Staring at this mess

Trying to get some rest

And I wish I could tell you why

I don't love you any less

So I close my eyes

Look up to the skies

Cos when it rains I feel you again

Should I apologize?

If I denied; ever wanting you by my side

You wouldn't know I'm just protecting you from my softer side

Anf if I cried; If I told you I was terrified

Would you think I was just proving that I have a softer side?

And if I died; if my heart and soul were purified

Maybe then you'd realize that I'm not dead... inside.

Peace and Love. Yelnif.

Hey... me again.

I promised ya'll two and so here's the second one. Enjoy. Or don't, it's really up to you.

SMOOTH TALKER

Smooth talker

What you gonna say this time?

Fast walker

Where are you heading for tonight?

Hey joker

Where's your come back now?

Hey choker

Looks like you're the one caught out

(Chorus)

And you didn't see it coming

And you never thought it would

And you spent your whole life running

How long did you think you could?

And you always had an answer

Until you fell in love

Well Smooth talker, there's nothing left to say.

Lone Ranger

Where you gonna shoot your gun

The danger

Ain't even begun

Soul searcher

You've been left without a prayer

Smooth talker

There ain't no one there

Short, and not especially sweet.... like me. :glasses

I'd appreciate thoughts, opinions, musings and even contemplations.

Peace and Love. Yelnif.

These are pretty good. Reading the first one, it really seemed like lyrics from a song on the radio or a CD or something. Also, I like the "Soul Searcher" bit of the second one.
