I was just wondering if anyone had read this yet? I bought it today, but haven't started reading it yet.



I know it has W/T present in it, but it's not written by Christopher Golden. I skimmed through it and it appears that W/T make it through till the end.



Can anyone confirm that or can anyone give me an opinion on this book? I'm going to read this, I just wanted to know what to look forward to.



Any sweet W/T stuff here?

Hi, Jennpurr.



It's OK I mean Willow kicks witchy ass in Tara gets her shoulder done in, we don't see her for the rest of the book, but we do see Vamp Tara.



She first turns up when Buffy meets an alterive Katikos [sorry can't spell kissing toast!]



Buffy worries that she might have to stake her, but it's just an alter ego Tara.



Then when Willow is questing for the leg of Ethan Rayne's do gooder ancestor she meet VT not very pleasant reading..



The fact that that poor Will burns Oz in wolf form to death, then destories VT with a sunshine spell, re: she couldn't let the bastardistion of her lover roam free...



Willow's just Willow, 'as long as she had Tara she would be fine'.



OK book, not great for W/T shippers.

When Willow is trying to fight Ethan when Tara gets her shoulder busted is a sweet moment, Willow pulls Tara out of a spell they had done, Willow starts whispering that she thought she'd lost Tara.



But as W/T sweetness CG still rules the roost.

I liked the comic but I think I'll give the novel a miss especially since it's not written by Chris Golden. The novels by Chris always have some nice W/T moments which I doubt others will add. Too bad Chris didn't do it but I'm sure he's busy with other projects.

I think this story is better told by the comic book of the same name that Chris Golden did write. I've been putting this off so that people would buy the comic, but I'll put some scans maybe here or in the other thread soon.

Now I'm a little, as they say, "confuzzled"...

I thought that this "Chaos Bleeds" thingey was strictly a video game. Am I to understand that it is now also a comic and a novel? Is the comic published by Dark Horse? Is the novel currently available at, say, Borders?

It almost reads likes Pens. Amazing what you can do with Willow and Tara in just a few short scenes when you are a skilled writter.



One wonders how they would have progressed and grown under Chris Golden's hand instead of a small minded little man.

Hemiola: The Chaos Bleeds comic is published by Dark Horse Comics and you can order it online from their website by clicking on this link. The comic is a prequel to the video game and was written by Christopher Golden and Tom Sniegoski and drawn by Cliff Richards. Tom and Chris also co-wrote the game.



The comic was released in June 2003 and discussed in the Willow and Tara in video game thread, rather than its own thread, which is why you might have missed it.



I don't know much about the Chaos Bleeds novel other than it was not written by either Chris or Tom and went on sale a few weeks in advance of the game's release. I'm sure that it is available to buy at most of the major bookstores but some of the Kittens who've already read it should hopefully be able to provide you more info about the book.

Well, that's true in a sense. But I talked to Chris Golden about this comic a little and I think certainly his intention was that this vamp tara was being honest.
