His acting reel includes clips from films in which he's appeared. The first clip is from, yep, Chance. It's brief, but it's a scene between him and Amber.

Great find, maudmac. I, too, must see this movie. When is that Birmingham film fest, again? And how can we convince her to show her film there?

Hey, tle. Sidewalk is September 20-22. emma peel and I have been in contact with them about the prospects. Her response from Erik Jambor was this, "We ran into Amber at Sundance back in January and am hoping the she will be able to bring the film to Sidewalk in September. She had a great time when she was out here in 1999, so it looks good. Keep your fingers crossed!"



So, who knows? I'm crossing all my digits. And while they're crossed, I'm having vivid fantasies of Amber showing up in Birmingham and seeing the Kitten contingent and thinking, "God! They really ARE everywhere!" (Well, okay, so there would only be three of us, but still. For Birmingham, that's saying a lot.)

Spoke to my new best friend Andy Hallet today ( Ok, new best friend = Getting an autograph ) and I asked what was happening with Chance:-



"Well, I saw the unedited version about three weeks ago and I really like it. Amber is still putting the finishing touches like music, but hopefully we will find out soon whats happening, but its up to Amber as its her baby...."



The unedited bit threw me a bit, as I thought the film had long been finished...However Amber may be tinkering with the film for Final Sales Distribution ( Producers/Directors do this all the time...)

I have to see this movie.

I have no plans to send Tara anywhere. Amber and Alyson have such great chemistry; they're so great together, and they're very romantic together. We have terrible, terrible things to do to them because they're on my show, so needless to say, horrible things will happen--but as a couple, I think they work really well. Well. I am not a big fan of the bugs, but Amber is the most beautiful woman I could possibly imagine. And it's kind of fun to hear her raise her voice, since that's something Tara wouldn't do.

Amber mentioned in Santa Barbara that Chance was still in post production which surprised me too because she had submitted to a few film festivals. Probably after they weren't accepted she decided to go back and re-work the film a bit.

I absolutely love her. Birmingham is 6 or 7 hours away from me...and I would drive it in a heartbeat if she ends up at the festival...When is the final lineup announced?



I hope the movie gets a great distributor and wins some awards so Amber can get onstage, smile that gorgeous smile of hers and tell Joss to go fuck himself.



...though I did start with the pouty at the words "natural death."



I'm keeping Tara alive my own way...I just created the Maclay family on The Sims...Tara and Willow live in the mansion with Vampire Willow, and so far, Tara seems to be the only responsible one that cleans up after herself and makes it to work on time. Willow was fired the second day and got a new job as a lab assistant, cleaning up rat cages. Hee.
