Amber at British Convention & European Tour

Did anyone really doubt whether this was a genuine event??? Its been promoted in Sci Fi Mags and Forbidden Planet etc for ages!!



And these aren't charity events, they are money making ventures. Its mainly a question of how much you are able to spend and what you get for that. Sadly, you can't expect something for nothing. Everyone has expenses to pay, the stars travel and accomodations etc.



I *am* curious about the Amber events...I've booked for the big convention, but it'll probably pretty impersonal, with a LOT of people there.(Has David Boreanaz been the UK before?) Maybe the Amber things around the UK will be a better opportunity for meeting/chat.

Given my recent experience, I'd much rather go to a halfway decent professionally run convention where they don't treat people like shit or promise the moon and deliver E. Coli instead. When something is properly organized, like this one seems to be, you probably have a bigger chance of actually spending more than 10 quality seconds with your favourite actor. I hope UK kitties will have a great time at this one, if you are with a fun group of people you are at least assured of a good time no matter what else happens.

Well i was thinking about going to the Brighton thing but if shes in Manchester and Birmingham which are both ALOT easier for me to get to then i might have to reconsider. Never know i might go to both, lol.

Wow, this is certainly tempting! I would pay a million squillion pounds to see amber in the flesh cos she's just so yummy but I hope she doesnt get too disturbed when I throw myself at her, lol.

Does anyone know the price of the european tour tickets? I still really want to see chance, but it looks like its gonna take a while for me yet, cos if i cant go to this then i have to wait til amber sorts out the distribution.

Hmmm am quite tempted to pitch a tent outside the building if i cant afford a ticket, and wait for her all night like a crazed stalker!

You are darned rootin-tootin we are going to Glasgow.



I've already been to Forbidden Planet but I'm afraid there will be no return visit there this year, they can't get a licence from the Council because there was trouble with some naff band who played at the Virgin store and it's screwed it up for everyone else who wanted to put on a PA.



I did e-mail Jealous Events over a week ago and still haven't received a reply. I'm beginning to have my doubts now.



Ohh and to whoever it was who said they would like to go to a professionally run convention where no one was treated like shit? You obviously have never been to a Creation convention Professionally run conventions for almost 30 years and it's like a cattle market there, all they need are the cattle prods to push you along! I've only been to their Xena cons and in the early days X Files cons in the States and I have enjoyed myself but their orginisation skills and customer relations leave a lot to be desired.



Anyhoo, I can't wait to see Amber again.

I've just heared about this Amber thing. I live in Cardiff so I have to travel and spend more money. Does anyone know how much it will cost??? I think its gonna be like the Angel one which was a rip off if u ask me. They shouldnt ask for too much money coz they are rich enough.
