Season 1 Lego Willow

Postby tyche » Wed May 05, 2004 6:05 pm

Ever wanted your very own version of Willow in Lego?

Well, you're in luck. They're doing 2 variants of the Willow figure, too.

I guess there are still a lot of fans with deep pockets. An Alyson autograph card from season 1 just ended at $760 U.S. with 3 of the bidders over the $650 mark. Thank goodness I already have 1. I wonder if Aly realizes how much her scribble goes for?

Wow. That is a nice custom figure. Out of my price range too, unfortunately. He also did a custom Willow from Once More, With Feeling that's online. I was glancing through his feedback to see what other ones that he did and he did a great one of the bed scene of Seeing Red. It sold a while ago, though. Hope someone from here can invest in the Family one. :D

Ah, yes.

I've seen Joy's work before. She's quite brilliant.

Thanks for the corrected link. ;)

Another affirmation of the wondrous talent of Joy Argento.
I have all of the Willow and Tara photos she's drawn and they are breathtaking in capturing the essence of Willow and Tara in sketch form.

I thinlk I have about 15 of the W/T prints. My friends kid me and ask me when I'm going to open up an art gallery. I've also been able to get a few others from other shows/movies. I like most all, but I think my absolute favorites are the B/W ones. I have a 24x30 print of the scene from Tabula Rosa, where they almost kiss towards the end, I believe its called WILLOW ON TOP, and it looks incredible.
Definitely th eplace for W/T lovers. First time I ever heard of Joy, someone had given me a Lianca print. It had her business card inside. I sent her an e-mail asking if she had any W/T. She had one that somene from the board had custom ordered (Willow hugging Tara from behind), but it wasn't posted on her website. I ordered it. Then someone posted a link here at the KWW. The rest is history I guess, b/c the Kittens must have ordered so many that she went from having one print to well over a dozen. Just goes to show the immense popularity that is still :wtkiss

Slaphappy, I've been searching Joy's site for the prints of their wedding, but can't find them. Can you tell me if you saw them on her site or on ebay?

Joy has redone her website, so she has taken down all but a select few of the W/T art (since she had so many). However, I believe she still has many of these in stock. What you need to do is send her an e-mail asking about that particular print and cost, etc. It'lmay take her a little while to get back to you, but she eventually will. And that particular one is also not on E-Bay.

Tara's 'blonde' poster?

Postby chidoll » Sun Aug 13, 2006 8:30 pm

I hope this isn't the inappropriate section to ask in (I apologise, if it is). I've been wondering for a long time about the framed poster that was on Tara's dorm wall, then on the wall of Tara and Willow's room in Buffy's house- it looked sketched and aged, with 'blonde' in a typewriter-ish font at the bottom. Does anyone know if that poster is available for purchase anywhere, or was it a specially-made prop, or? Please and thanks for any answer. :}
