Roswell

Hey kittens,

I know I can't be the only Roswell fan on this board, so I decided to start this thread. My main reason was to inform the fans, who haven't heard, a big surprise.

In February 2004, Season One is coming to DVD!! :bounce :banana This makes me so happy! I just hope we won't have to wait long in between seasons. Now, if they'll just put Charmed on DVD I'll be happy!

Does anyone else here watch this show?

They're also going to start back up with re-runs on Sci-Fi coming up in January. :) I'm so excited!

I liked Roswell. It was very good. I especially liked Emilie de Ravin (Tess). The only thing I didn't like was the end of Season 2.

Jason Behr is one of my favourite actors. He is so talented and was perfect as Max.

i loved the first season of Roswell, it kind of went downhill a bit after but was always worth watching. I'll certainly be buying the first season dvd's, it'll be interesting to see how they hold up for me now after a couple of years without seeing the show. I liked Majandra Delfino the best, but Shiri was always good too.

Oh, I'm also a roswell fan! The problem is I only got to see a few episodes every now and then cause it was on so late and inconsistently. As such I never got into it as much as I wanted to, damn it! I'm trying to make up for lost time by watching as much as I can on foxtel. Good news about the season 1 dvds, maybe now I can finally see the beginning and not get confused by all the references and and complicated storylines;)

Woo Hoo!!! Finally got my Roswell today!

YAY!! Haven't watched any of it yet. And for those of you who might be wondering, who had heard why there was a delay on the DVD's... the theme song and the Sarah McLachlan song from the Pilot are still the same!!!!

The only thing that disappointed me was that there aren't more deleted scenes. There's only one and it was from the Pilot. Oh well!

It says Season 2 should be out this summer!

i have to say that roswell was and still is my absolute favorite tv show ever. i have to say i was completely devastated when in came off the air. its too bad they couldnt make a roswell movie. :sob but im going to have to disagree with chilled monkey. tess' character was awful and i hated her. i hated her from day 1.

They tried continuing the series in book form - picking up from the series finale where they all take off in the van and ignoring the original book series completely. I read the first in the series and it wasn't half bad. I don't know if they've been able to keep it going, though.

My TiVo tells me that SciFi is going to be showing season 3 of Roswell in a couple of big bursts starting this Thursday, so if you haven't seen the last season, this is your chance.

The second season dvd of Roswell will be out August 9th in the UK and October 5th in North America. Still no deleted scenes in this one either - wonder why? - but there are a couple of featurettes that sound like fun.

I've just finished watching the Season 3 DVDs. I thought the last season had been made to give a proper ending to the series. I had no idea the producers had been planning the next season. It was good, but nothing to beat my favourite episode - A Roswell Christmas Carol (I love sentimental Christmas movies and TV shows).
