According to the AMC pages, Bianca will have to decide what to do about Lena next week. But we all know the path to true love never runs smoothly - especially on a soap opera. I've been watching AMC since September 1978 and my VCR has never gotten this kind of work out. I may need to buy a new one! About the poll - all of the kittens need to vote. I've never seen them repeat a poll, maybe they thought it was a fluke that Lena got so many votes. If so, we need to show them differently. First, I found this at BAM..It's great to know that's it's long term. At least someone at ABC had the sense to recognize hot chemistry when they saw it. And this couple is smoking.



Second, today's episode..Well, it was another gut wrencher..Suffice it to say that those two are so much in love, yet so much in pain at the same time.Tomorrow is going to be even better, as B/L meet at SOS and Lena tells her she's been lying ( at least the conversation begins tomorrow)..I think this is the week that Lena confesses all.



Third, I know it's just a matter of time before the complete truth is out and the girls are back on track, but I gotta tell you, getting there has been one hell of a rollercoaster ride. I'm worn out..This is so much angst and fun at the same time..

O.K. Somebody is resetting the poll. This morning Lena had almost 600 votes. As of right now, there are only 49 votes cast. Somebody over at soapcentral doesn't like the fact that every time they've started this poll over, Lena has over half of the votes. And it won't let you vote in the reset poll if you voted in a previous one! This stinks!

Everytime they start the poll over, Lena still ends up with over 60% of the vote..I don't know why they don't just take the damn the off the site..Olga has already been given a long-term contract, it's a moot point now..

AMEN! The only thing they are proving is that there are more and more people out there rooting for Olga - which is fine. Just stop re-setting the damn poll! Which, by the way, has Lena at 69% - a very nice number if you ask me!

I'm not big into online polls - but since this is sponsered by ABC and the results will be published in a magazine it might be a good idea to vote for the girls - one of the questions is "is Lena the right woman for Bianca"

ETA - could Lena look more lika a love struck puppy than she did yesterday! And oh the irony, she's finally trying to be honest with Bianca and all it does is make Bianca trust her less. I think we're in for some heavy duty angst.

Erica and Kendall were good today. And I freaking hate Michael. He can go die. Reggie's friend needs to get locked up for good and Reggie and Joni need to go on a date or something.

In the new Soap Opera Digest Bianca-Lena are the topic in the editor's choice. Lots of praise ,and the writer says they're a" splendid duo."

That is great news. BTW, at several polls they have also been voted most popular couple, as well as favorite actresses and best chemistry in a couple..And the ratings are up..I guess there are always going to be phobes out there, but I think all in all, this storyline is really paying off big for AMC. Tons of free publicity and lots of praise....thank God someone at AMC was smart enough to recognize this and sign Olga to a long term contract.



Also, they've cast the role of Lena's mother..her name is Elizabeth Shepherd. Beautiful British stage actress who was the first Emma Peel in the Avengers in 1960 before Diana Rigg.

Kendahl, will Lena's mom be played by Honor Blackman, who was Cathy Gale in The Avengers prior to Diana Rigg's being Emma Peel?

Honor Blackman also played in one of the female leads in one of the Sean Connery James Bond films, can't remember which one. Her character's name was Pussy Galore; I kid you not. He he.

I'm not familiar with Elizabeth Shepherd, as she was after Honor Blackman and before Diana Rigg, but she should be an interesting addition to the mix of AMC. I might start taping the show, as I've liked what little I've seen of Bianca and Lena.

I think the actress who is going to play Lena's mom is Elizabeth Shepherd. I really don't know much about her. But I believe she was on the Avengers. She also has extensive stage credits.



Wow, AMC has been really good lately. Compared to stuff last year and that horrible Proteus storyline, this is pure genius.

Today looks like it should be a good show. Since Lena finds out Bianca knows about her, I hope she comes clean. Lena's already told Binx about her mother and that's the only leverage Michael has over her, she might as well tell B the whole story. That way they could work together, and get closer!

If you don't remember Elizabeth Shepard from "The Avengers" it's because her 1 and a half episodes never aired (per my Avengers book). She failed to impress the producers, or ruffle the characteristic well-bred charm of Patrick Macnee. After viewing the rushes of the first episode, Town of No Return, they decided that she didn't give the character the light comedy touch they were looking for. They stopped production half-way thru The Murder Market and ES was dropped.

Elizabeth Shepherd was born in 1936. She might be a good character to play off of Myrtle! I was glad to see Bianca's bedroom yesterday. And she wouldn't let Lena leave - that's a good sign!

ok just saw friday's ep -- bianca is sure giving lena a tough time. now i will grant you - lena really needs to have a better relationship with the truth (and at least she has finally started down that road) ... but come on bianca! lena loves you!!
