Stripping Kittens..that sounds like a really bad band name.

Anyways, I might have to screw moving out, and consider this my consulation prize. Vegas, and Ruth's Boobies.

Only thing missing is Amber.

Tara nodded in agreement "She has magic fingers." Then, as though the words had just echoed back to her and sounded not at all right, she perked up and glanced around at the others. "On the keyboard."

Ahh, Vegas and strippers...man that takes me back to my carefree undergrad days.

Strangely enough, it also takes me back to the episode of 'The Anna Nicole Show' that was on last week. Don't ask why I watch it, I can't really explain it. All I can say is, the show is like a train wreck; it's terrible but you just can't look away. On this particular ep, Anna has the pleasure of receiving a lap dance from a lovely female stripper.

This in turn made me think of the now defunct series, "G-String Divas" that was on HBO (You can always count on HBO for porn dressed up as a serious "examination" of sexuality, lol). God I wanted a lap dance from Jordan, who was by the far the prettiest and least crazy of the lot.

Anyways...

The point of all this rambling is this; nothing bad (probably nothing good either, heh) can come of Vegas, naked ladies who want to dance on your lap, and Kittens.

Have fun Kittens!

DW, you're a Vegas kitten, too? I thought I was the only one :D

If I can save the money, this west coast kitty will be right there in that convertible with Ruth and her bouncing boobies. :thud

i call first shower and I'm sleeping with xita! um, as in i'd like to share a room with xita. hehe... and ruth and eli and toni and diana and rally and all the other kittens. sheesh cant we just rent out the whole hotel? ;)

so are the LA kitties carpooling or caravaning? i'm setting the date aside. i've got a wedding to go to that weekend but would I rather go to a wedding in PR of someone i've not spoken to in like five years or to vegas with a bunch of kittens? stripping, gambling and driking galore. hm.... i can do that in PR too now that i think about it. but no, kittens come first. and San Juan doesn't compare to Vegas!!!!

I think this is the first time i'm actually glad i'm in LA and dont have to worry too much how i'll get to Vegas. go figure...

Sigh.

I'm all for getting a nice suite for the kittens to share, maybe a jacuzzi suite. This Los Angeles little bird plans on flying southwest, hello cheap flights and quicker than driving, more time for boobies, stripers, blackjack and various tequila shots and don't know where i'm staying yet cause just waiting for more details. But have been thinking about the suite idea since I heard of this little get together.

Once I get back from Alabama I will start compiling a list of potential hotels along with prices and such. If enough people want to stay at the same place and are sure they are going, we can work on room sharing etc.

Also we are pretty safe that weekend, because The Bailbondsman convetion starts that Monday. ;)

Well officially, of course, I have to say that I have no idea what you're talking about.

but sparrow driving's half the fun, sweetie. ;) plus if we get me, xita and eli in one car you'll have plenty of boobies to tie you over til we get to vegas! :)

how much are the flights, just in case? i dont know whether i can handle taking off, flying for three minutes and then landing. i have panic attacks and this was before 9-11 so imagine. gosh the stories i could tell about that...

editing to add- thanks rally for everything and if you need any help let me know. smooch!

In that case, I may even be convinced to drive you guys up there in Big Red. Have plenty of room and a special space for our large beverage cooler. Last time I fly to Vegas it was $55 roundtrip, couldn't pass up that deal.

Southwest flights to Vegas

Postby NoveltyAct » Tue Sep 17, 2002 6:02 pm

hey all southern california kitties,

last time i checked, if you buy tickets online at southwest.com, tickets to vegas were $19 one-way from LAX, Burbank, or John Wayne (Orange County).

and i checked this morning. ;) can't beat that for a deal...

Yup, that's the fare I got, well then they added all those taxes and it eventually got to the $55 roundtrip.

Re: Southwest flights to Vegas

Postby Elianna » Tue Sep 17, 2002 6:17 pm

Yes, when I looked it up a few days ago, that's what Southwest said. But they were only selling tickets through Jan. 10, so we'd have to wait until they extended the period for the $19 fare, if they extend it.

Rane, the problem with that is the Sunday evening traffic BACK to LA. It is NOT fun in the least.

But the good part about driving to Vegas are stopping at Barstow and Primm (but Primm is not as good as Barstow).

I'm just not going to drive there, but I'm willing to be a passenger, and pay for gas, or whatever a driver considers fair exchange. But trust me, or ask Rane, you don't want me sharing in the driving. :)

And sharring a room/suite/whatever: great!

Wait - there's a sign-up sheet for sleeping with Xita? Sign me up!

I like the idea of us all staying in one motel. Its a bit scary to be travelling to a different country and I'd feel better if I knew there were lots of Kittens around to ask for help like "What the hell is this tipping about?".

Oh and let me know if I can help with anything Rally. I know I'm far away but there might be a couple of jobs that can be handled remotely.

Edited to add: For those who are thinking of going from this part of the world (Down Unda), I went to see a travel agent the other day. Flight availablitiy shouldn't be a problem around that time because its off-season so you don't have to book immediately. I think you're probably looking at approx NZ$2,200 or AUD$1,700 for the flight to give you some idea about cost.

That's why i always thought Vegas would be a great town for a gathering, tons of hotels and fairly cheap compared to other cities.

Oh my heavens.....Rane, Eli, Ruth, Diana and I in the same room.... :shock Can we say "trouble"?? I think we can. I think the LVPD might haul all our asses away for rafter swinging and skinny dipping in the kiddie pool. And the free drinks at the slots?! Hell yeah I'm there! :evil

hehe, yes, no one let Eli near a car. not even a golf cart! please!

sparrow, i'm leaning towards maybe flying if we go in a group. i'm really really crazy about getting on a plane though. once i'm on i'm fine. more than dandy. i love flying it's just the actual getting on a plane that troubles me.

xita, if there is a list i'm on the top! unless you like the top. ;) i'm very accomodating like that.

toni, could you imagine all the drunk kittens. we'll be banned.

and yes, lots of cheap places to stay and cheap places to eat. good thing people spend all their money gambling so we can get that in Vegas.

I'm gonna try my damnest to be there. I just started a pretty miserly paying freelance job but since the Singapore government is being surprisingly generous and is giving all citizens some extra cash (supposedly to cover for an increase in the goods and services tax next year), so I should have enough. Or else I'll resort to doing what I did the last time I went to the US, borrow from my mum and pay her back in installments for the rest of the year :) . It'd be worth it though.

Well, this is kind of cool, Y'all scheduled this on my 21st birthday. Maybe instead of just sitting drunk around the same old boring bars I've been sitting around sober for the past three years, I'll come and celebrate my twenty first in vegas kitten style. Feb. 15th is still quite a ways away...or so says my calendar. And I already know I have the days off work as I requested them for getting drunk and hangover type reasons....yeah, I may just be able to pull this. *grin*

bugger. maybe I should start looking for a job now.

MadeinNZ - do you think I'd fit in your suitcase? I'm not that big.... I did actually look up the cost - for me (all flights WGN > Las Vegas) it looks to be around $2500 - $2600. which isn't that bad - really...if i get a job before Nov...
