Anybody feel free to slap me around if this comment makes no sense....since I am exhausted and at the moment my computer doesnt want to move any farther back in this thread...but I participated in the day of silence last year with quite a few friends. It was a good experience....

My last two girlfriends were both bisexual, and when the three of us would sit down over drinks, they both said the best thing about being bisexual was kissing women. That kissing women was SO much softer and nicer than kissing men.

My two cents: one of the funniest perks of being gay is the huge amount of "First Time" anniversaries:

1) First time I kissed a girl :sh

2) First time I kissed a man (urgh)

3) First time I had sex

4) First time I made love

5) First time we watched Buffy/Children's hour/Go fish together

6) First time she met my gay male friends

7) First time at a Women Only bar

8) First time I cut my hair

9) First Pride Parade :pride

and my favourite ('cause it's the most recent)

First time make up and girlie dresses

I love the look in her eyes when I'm all "lipstick and see-thru' clothes", she looks like a panther ready to jump all over me...:drool

I know someone already mentioned it but ANGELINA JOLIE! And speaking of which, I just got word that she finally fessed up to Barbara Walters saying she's bi. Can anyone confirm? If that's the case then WOOHOOO!!! Tomb Raider 2 come this weekend will hold some extra special meaning...LMAO

She'd said it before publically but I she did say it again to Barbara. I watched. And she said it at comic con too.

Well, I'm sure plenty a straight boy has gotten off on the movie Bound. I would say that the "gay perk" is re-enacting it! :devilish

My Perk

Postby Ittybittykitty » Sat Jul 26, 2003 2:02 pm

I have to say gaydar is one of the funnier ones, but my favorite perk is Dyke-wear. Last night my friend (who is a lesbian) and I went out to see a movie and we wore a black tank tops and jeans. Both of us. She's all "It's the thing lesbians wear this summer." I didn't know. :lol

"Well, if you blew a hundred bucks, we'd better make it worth your while," Tara said dragging Willow back into the laundry room and closing the door.-Happily Ever After

This is a cool thread!

My favourite thing of all time is Checking Out Girls Butts. They are the most perfect creation of all time, and I regularly get caught out mid-peek. :eyebrow

It's gotten so bad that my friends (boys and girls) point out any nice bootie that is walking past. God, I'm a dirty pervert.

I also have to agree with the kitten who previously mentioned the oogling of Amber's goodies. Goodies is the funniest word.

Ok, not gay (yet, anyway), but frankly I think this would be a wonderful perk for those both gay and out.

You can comment on a strictly aesthetic basis on the looks of a guy without loud squeels of 'Oooh! Do you like him? Do you like him?'

That just annoys the crap out of me...

Or – MellindraX, if I may – you could always pop a random "Oh, check out that gorgeous chunk of hot man-muffin!" and laugh your ass off over the looks that earns you from friends (the above mentioned d'ya-like-'im choir) – who are just so cool with you being a lesbian that seeing you ogle a man actually scares the bejeezeus out of them.

A perk? I think it would have to be being able to check out a woman's body. I'm bi, but I find that woman, most of the time, have much more sexual bodies.

Also being able to be sexy for a woman. I feel much more comfortable and ajusted to them. And of course you always know what you like, and they may like similar things.
