No snow in late July/early August, not even here :lol

And I'm sure the moose wouldn't mind Pat ;)

My vote would go for SF.

Places like NO and Texas are out for me. Like Garfield, I don't take high heat/humidity very well. No way in hell would I go to a place that makes our summers (which can be very hot and humid) look like summers in Alaska :stop

I vote for San Francisco. Since two certain moderators who shall remain nameless ditched me last time they were here, this will give them a chance to make it up to me. :D

They ditched you, Caoilin? :shock Evil mods! Evil! I'll come to SF and help you spank their behinds.

I'm changing my vote to SF, since it's looking like we'd have a gathering in NOLA sometime around the time hell freezes over. Pity. But I do love SF. Will someone go to the Exploratorium with me? Please, please?

ok, I vote for SF 'cause I want to see maudmac "come to SF and help you help spank their behinds."

Besides, I lived in New Orleans for many, many years and it's very hot that time of year.

How dare some evil (:evil ) mods ditch Caolin. The nerve!!!!

Just my two cents.

Who are these mods, they must be punished!

Anyway, I had said NO originally. I really don't mind where I go, but SF has great weather :p

Maudmac, if by any chance hell freezes over and I manage to get to the next kitten gathering, I would SO go to the Exploratorium! I love the London Science Museum, I could spend all day there. I know, I'm a :geek

I'm not going to vote for anywhere, because I probably won't have the funds to come and it wouldn't be fair.

Xita, honey, you just changed your mind when Holley mentioned spanking. ;)

Punishing the evil, bad mods is now my top priority. :D

ETA: I'll go with you, Holley! I love that place.

Ok, I just changed my from SF and will go along with what's more convenient for the other Kittens.

Due to some recent developments, I'm not positive I can make it anyway, but will be budgeting accordingly.

If we end up in SF, count us in for the Exploratorium. I love museums (musea?).

A few years ago my sister was coming down from NYC for a visit. I was excitedly making suggestions for visiting the Franklin Institute, the Academy of Natural Sciences, etc. when she stopped me cold: "This is your younger, shallower sister. I want to go shopping!"

We went shopping.

Damn, I love the Exploratorium... and the MOMA... I just love SF. And I'm going there on Wednesday! Here me roar...

Okay, that was off-topic, but I wanted to comment on why SF is so cool and we should have it there...

I'm just gonna be irritating and add a stupid suggestion which i know would be shot down instantaniously due to the fact it is ridiculous and not to mention rather out of the way for EVERYONE here on the board except the tiny handful of members from this part of the universe and such for i am suggesting Singapore though i am not from singapore but hey communities are almost the same there as in malaysia except for at the borders where its like big ego between two countries makes me think neighbouring countries never get along nicely no? :lol

dang, Shinnen, that's not a stupid suggestion, 'cept I told my girlfriend a few weeks ago that I'd go to Singapore in 2006 for her high school reunion. She went to the Singapore American School years back (coughcough-but, hey, maybe I could meet some Kittens there then. Hint, hint, Shinnen. :grin )

:lol Well Shinnen you definitely won't be shot down instantaniously by me. I live right here in Singapore so if the Kitten gathering actually made it down here. Wow! I get to meet kittens! :dance But considering there is only a small handful in this region, I'll just be quiet now and keep on dreaming about this possibility.... Hehe :p

intricate mirage... whoah... didn't know you're that close... no wonder you don't have Curve Magazine too but you have one of the largest asian collective gay community there :lol But I'm actually planning a trip down south to Singapore (I'm in Kuala Lumpur now) end of November and would love to meet the few singaporean kittens (as well as kittens who might be in Singapore then). I have no sense of direction in Singapore other than going to Orchard Road. Email me at shinnen@graffiti.net if you wanna meet up maybe the Hari Raya weekend. I'll need a group of tour guides :wink

Maybe i should take this out of here cos it's not really a 2004 Kitten Gathering :p

I know I am too, but it turns out I may have something else I need to be doing during the summer that may prevent me from flying out to the US, so one less vote for San Fransico, but if when the time comes I will be able to go I will. There, I can´t get anymore vague than that. :p

Oh of course I wanna, especially if you´ll be going too. I will be in good hands if I get too drunk. :D If I do go it will probably be a last minute thing, so for now I´d best butt out on the who where when how of this gathering. I am not good at butting out though, so we´ll see how long I´ll last.

Not that I'm known to most of you, but I'm casting a vote for NO simply because it's a more feasible trek for this ATL Kitten than SF (although I freakin' love that city). I would love a location close enough to me so that I can finally meet some more Kittens (:bigwave to emma peel), cause I wasn't able to even fathom the idea the first 2 goes, and was way to shy to try it at Sidewalk. I'm a wallflower of the worst kind. :blush

LA's a nice place, if you like smog. I'd see what I could do about it if that were the case.

I'd really like to go wherever the rest of the Kittens decide...although Chicago may be a go because of WebWarlock...and then I'd really like to meet xita 'cause she absolutely rocks, so wherever she'd like to go....and Big Dummy (t'anks, by the way..:bigwave back 'atcha..I'm shy too,...really!and a wallflower. BD, I wouldn't have taken you for a wallflower, but I am, too.). I lived in New Orleans most of my life....very hot there...didn't go to the first two Kitten Gatherings...did go to Sidewalk 2002 and met the nicest male kitty from Denmark...you know who you are-JM and your cow!!)..didn't meet BD, but I have since then..yay!!!you're good folk!)and at Sidewalk I do remember meeting (other than sweet JM) katie, maudmac, rally,Chewster (where have you been??), and Chris and Toni, whose nic's I can't remember at the moment.

Oh, yeah, and I got to meet Amber. :thud :drool

I'm so malleable, I can't make any decision.

Please, talk amongst yourselves...
