i'm jewish, and that's never stopped me from celebrating. halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and it definitely beats the high holy days here.

This Halloween I am going to spend the evening with...

My best friend in the whole world (he is a total gay boy and I love him for that) and this girl that I am in love with. She is having a party at her house and I am going...all I have to say is YAY!! :party

Sorry for this lame-ish post but I had to spread the joy around a little.

May all of you have a fun and safe Halloween.

Last night we carved our pumpkins for Halloween. We managed to get 3 for some reason. So we carved a kitten in one, a witches hat in the next a the bad wardrobe symbol in the last...that looks kind of like a pregnant and running dinosaur in the last one. The kids think they looks cool.

Happy Halloween everyone :)

So, the day started and I knew my name and had my pants on. So far, so good. Yay.

I probably had more fun at work today than I will have tonight. No plans. I wish I had a fun party to go to, but alas there is only one that I know of that will suck quite badly.

On a good note, I AM A PIRATE. Yes. Pirate Pat ran around the office all day with a pimp and a leprechaun. You can even see pictures for the oddity of it.

I usually go trick or treating but I'm a freshman in college now and pretty much there is nothing to do on campus. There are random partues floating around but I don't drink and I don't have anyone to go with so I'm probably just going to sit here and watch tv.

I'm with you, Yellowsub. I tried to go trick or treating, but nothing. I even checked out the party scene, overseeing some of my less capacitated friends, but that was sad too. So I'm home, with costume pieces scattered around. I was a Big Gay Fairy - myself, basically, but with butterfly wings (pretty ones, not the cheapo ones), fairy ears and a bit more fishnet than usual. Eye makeup and emo glasses. Rather a lot like this, actually. . .

But I'm so exhausted, and so sad, and just wish I had friends to chill with. At least you anticipated things being not so fun - I missed Joan of Arcadia *again*!

This halloween wasn't as fun as the other years....but it was alright! I had fun carving the pumpkins (or punkins as my senior kindergarten class that I help out in for school calls them) and hanging up decorations. I stayed home and handed out the candy to the kids. All while watching Hocus Pocus the halloween tradition at my house!

Tara: Willow, you are using too much magick. What do you want me to do, sit back and keep my mouth shut?

Willow: Well that'd be a good start.

Tara: (Shocked) If I didn''t love you so damn much I would!

Weekend b4 Halloween I went to a Halloween party, wearing a shirt supposedly stained with blood but it went orange... it was one of those -I have 10 minutes in my lunch break to make a costume- kinda everyday occurances. So, Yeah. Halloween party, sat got drunk, went home.

Halloween night, I went out to a bar, got hit on by some guy, got drunk, went home.

Next 3 days after Halloween, still eating random chocolate and pollylops bought for but not given out to random kids dressed scarily normal knocking on our door demanding sugary goods.

Xita,

oh I wish I had the talent to make something like that, but I have to admit that it is store bought.

GF and I saw it at Walmart as they were putting it on the shelf and decided to buy it right there and then. We weren't even sure if she would like it but she did and it was a hit as I mentioned.

It is something new on the market this year, it fastens snugly around your ankles wrists and neck then you turn it on and it blows up like a balloon from a fan and 3 "C' batteries.

Really cool!!

I just thought that this might be a good place to share the fact that I was Vamp Willow for Halloween this year. My mother is a professional costume designer and recreated the Doppelgangland costume pretty much down to the last detail, plus she found really pale makeup and semi-realistic vampire fangs. Added to the fact that I have red hair, green eyes, and about the same build as Willow...it may have been my most successful costume ever. I had such fun. If I had a digital camera, I would post pictures...but I have not yet tracked down any digital ones. So yes. That's my story.

Heh, I'm doing the same thing as last year. Nothing. I am old and set in my ways.

again this year I will be in a cemetery helping a friend with genealogical research. I happen to like cemeteries... they are quiet places to relax and not have anyone bother you.

Halloween + £200 pound ticket = Halloween Buffy convention! :bounce

I loved it! I met James Marsters and David Boreanaz and got photo's with them, also there were special guests Juliet Landau and Any Acker. Yay! I got their autographs and did some Q+A before having a ghost story and going home. :blush

Also, Congrats to Amy Acker and her soon to be baby boy :)

Was good fun, was fun to dress up in black with a really lon coat and scare all my neighbours as I went to the convention, :lol

I dressed my horse up as a cow and got third place in the Halloween horse show at the stables where I board. The winner managed to dress their horse up as a turkey...it was hysterical!

This Halloween for trick or treating I wanted to be a knight but the costumes sucked so I'm going to be a nun :) Our little boy wanted to be a fairy, thank goodness the devil came with wings so he choose that and our older girl is going to be a cheerleader. My partner is going to be a serving wench...yummy :blush

This Halloween

Postby Big Dummy » Sun Oct 31, 2004 11:02 am

I was supposed to go to a big, grown-up partay last night. Instead my partner and I wussed-out big time and hung out with our neighbor watching Halloween V and eating. Good times. I didn't regret not going out at all. I;m only 28, but I really feel like the full-on party thing is kinda over for me. We'll be handing out candy tonight though. Hoping it gets lower than 60 in the ATL tonight so we can pretend it's Fall and have hot cider. Stupid southern weather...:mad

Big Dummy, I know exactly how you feel. I wanted to wuss out of my big grown-up party but I ended up going. I went as my gay boyfriend's date. He was in drag and so was I. He even got me a pink tie to go with his outfit. lol. I had fun so but i am sure I would have had fun watching the Exorcist at home as well.

I was going to go trick or treating but i didnt have anyone to go with.

But i did go to a halloween party last night. I went as a vampire. had stage blood and everything. i totally freaked someone out by sneeking up on them and biting them (lightly) on the neck. it was so funny, and she took it well.

i love getting dressed up and getting the crap scared out of me and my friends, its so much fun.
