Kitty Gatherings - All locations post here

We've decided to make one central gathering thread for a few reasons, because we might be drowned in threads for ever part of the world (and we kind of already are) and because I don't like little factions of people on the board. So post any new info here. If you want to be the contact person post your e-mail and let people know to contact you for further info. Also post any news here. I hope kittens meet each other as much as possible. It has always been a rewarding experience for me.

Well, I was trying to organise something for Sydney, but everyone appeared to be going away for schoolies week or xmas or whatever, but if people want to try and organise something for just before or after xmas or something, then I'm in...If people want to e-mail me with availability or whatever, then you can do so at spellgal@hotmail.com otherwise just post here and I'll see what I can do!

Hey Bob,

Any way we can sort of work out an itinerary and guide sort of thing for the Pilgrimage? Best routes to get from one to the next and all that? I'm a neurotic driver. I have to know these things.

It wouldn't be hard, really . . . Mapquest and all. Just gotta track down the sequence of locations we'll be visiting . . . then it's just a matter of plugging 'em in, I guess. Still, I did get lost several times on the way to Kenneth Hahn Park the last time, so I could stand to study a map.

This is sorta confusing now that there's only one thread...should we maybe consider an email group for Bay Area Kitties to discuss this gathering (and any possible future ones)?

As far as dates, I'm fine with all of those; I will suggest (as I did for the LA gathering) that the 19th of January makes a nice choice since that is Buffy's birthday.

I did offer my place a while ago, but no-one wanted to come to Wrexham *pout*, hang on the fact that I said Wrexham might have been the reason *g* Anyhoo if we're talking future gathering, my mum is going away during the easter holidays so I can offer a venue for some sorta party/gathering thing around that time. Plus the two other Wrexham kitties can help me organise.
But if we're talking near future count me in *still got me hand up*

The food was pretty good (at least mine was, and I think the others that have said something were all postitive). I did have a hard time getting the girl's attention to actually order something (I got there late so the others already had their food; she did immediately for drink orders), but I don't want to judge the service from that one experience with extenuating circumstances.

I think we're planning to make it a regular Bay-Area Kitten gathering spot from time to time, and I hope to go there on other occasions as well.

When I first registered and posted to the intro thread, I got a warm howdey from a kitten in Lincon (sorry forgot who), they said that there were four of us in the cornhusker state, do you four wanna get together and have coffee.
