I'm not a boston kittie....making with the New York here myself...but SO bummed over not being able to make it to the huge vegas kittie gathering....upper east coast kitties really need to do something around here sometime this year! So yeah I know there was probably a kittie gathering around here at some point before i became a kittie, ((im sure ive always been one at heart!!)) and the kitties don't revolve around me, but...

well, it certainly seems like there is some interest in a gathering. maybe we can tentatively plan the get together on a friday night in december? Just to pick a date completely at random, how about the 13th? I think a European Kitty gathering is a great idea. My gf and I would definitely be interesting in going, we live in the UK, but we would be prepared to travel to a central destination. Just out of curiosity, where do you think the gathering should take place?

I have to admit that I have no idea but my gf and I don't mind. I was thinking of either England or Holland. I am from Austria and I know there are many German kittens and that wouldn't be too far for anyone.

Just sticking my two pennies in, but how about somewhere central in England? That way, at least there would be a few of us who could get together re: facilities and stuff like that. I can think of a few reasonable places where there's stuff to do in the evening as well as during the day, and there are good hotel prices, especially for a group booking.



If people are serious about this, then let's do it!

I would love to come to a Kitten gathering in England, even though I live in Alabama (homestate of Amber) ...I would just need to know several months in advance so I could try and get a ticket at a reasonable price..Hopefully, British Airways is going to run another special soon like the one they had last week--round trip to England-$198...

England sounds good, indeed. Other locations might be more "exotic" but it undeniable that a lot of European Kitten live in the UK and that's definitely an advantage.

Personally, I'd go anywhere!

Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds etc.



I certainly don't mind helping to organise this. It would be quite handy to use all of the techniques I learnt at the workshops I was attending instead of being in Vegas.

Me, diss Birmingham, never. My shocked icon was just my way of stating that I believe sunny delightful Birmingham to be far too big a place, to host a Kitten gathering.



I would have to agree with Saule and go with Manchester.

I would just like to also mention a Chicago Kitten Gathering on the Weekend of may 9-11. Last year we met on the Saturday night and everyone had a great time. I think there have been some new Chicago additions since then, but anyone pasisng through or such is always welcome too, especially you Rosenberg!

Garner, I’ve already got my reservations made and I’ll be purchasing the Cubs tickets (hopefully) on Friday. I really liked meeting at Moody’s the last time and that would be fine again with me.
