Xita put up the pics Concrete took of Aly with my camera last saturday. The pics are rather huge so they may take some time to load, but you can always cut them down to size yourself. That might be a good idea, there is a scary dude in all of them (not me for a change).

Oh thanks Nimbus, that's a great picture. Who is the minder guy? Does he look like the guy in pic 4 (who can be seen in the background of pic 1, 2, 3 as well, slowly moving forward in the crowd). He is probably a nice guy, but the look in his eyes in pic 4 reminds me of a few Hitchcock movies.

Ok now is the time to ask what 'minder' means, in Dutch minder means 'less', heheh, I know the meaning of the verb 'to mind' but what does minder mean in this context?

A minder is like a bodyguard - watching out for the safety of another person.

That dude was watching Aly's back all the time, as was the bald bloke in the white biker jacket.

Agreed Skittles, I noticed the guy in the white jacket, but I never got this -well- unwelcome feeling and when I was there I think people behaved pretty well without anyone having to tell them to back off. Glad to know they are there though, if those professional autograph hunters get too pushy at least they can push back so to speak.

Hey DrG - thanks for the lovely pics and the video(in the WHMS thread)



BTW - the very tall guy must definitely be a bodyguard 'cos he was always there with a second chap on the occasions I met Aly. Also, others have confirmed that he/they always seemed to get into almost all the photos taken with Aly, seeing as they were part of the crowd but at the same time staying close to 'guard' Aly.



The rude, pushy 'professional' autograph hunters I mentioned in my post in the WHMS thread got noticed by the bodyguard types - 'cos one of my friends told me he overheard the very tall bodyguard quietly asking Aly if she wanted him to call a halt to the whole thing..... BUT as I also said Aly remained gracious and kind and made sure she let it be known(in polite tones) that she won't sign anymore 'commercial' autographs - but she definitely signed and posed for pics with her true fans, complete with her gorgeous smile!! Heck! - make that just Her All Over Gorgeousness!!



Anyway thanx again for the effort you went to in sharing the pics DrG - and Oh BTW I left a little cheeky question for you in one of my last couple of posts in the WHMS thread(page 6)

I have found that I need to wear asbestos clothing when viewing this colossal-sized picture of the entrancing and radiant Aly as her undulating waves of hair like tongues of flame and those smouldering green eyes bore holes upon my very soul.
