Another new Amber movie- Race You to the Bottom

Postby Dana5140 » Wed Mar 30, 2005 5:57 pm

Upcoming at the LGBT festival in Miami:

Race You to the Bottom, by rookie director Russell Brown takes an uncompromising look at the complexities of modern day relationships that don’t easily fit into boxes marked hetero or homo.

Travel writer Nathan (Cole Williams from Harry and Max), invites Maggie (played by Amber Benson of Buffy the Vampire Slayer) to accompany him on an assignment to cover the fertile vineyards of Northern California . Nathan is a self-defined 70/30 bisexual (Kinsey 3) and has been dating Maggie for the last six months, but there’s a major problem, both of them have live-in boyfriends back in L.A! As their journey progresses, some difficult decisions will have to be made, as Nathan grapples with his feelings for Maggie, and the true nature of his own sexual identity.

With lush vineyards serving as a backdrop, comparisons with Sideways are inevitable, but this story is far removed from the search for the perfect grape, as Brown skillfully tackles the intricacies of bisexuality and the voyage as adults, each of us make, to find our true selves.

Director Russell Brown, Actor Cole Williams and Actress Amber Benson will attend the screening to discuss the film with the audience

Thanks for the info Dana5140! I did a Google search on the film after reading your post and found a small pic of Amber and (I believe) Cole from the film.

The movie was made in October/November 2003. Cole Williams and Amber are the leads. This means it´s mostly them in this film. :D :D :D

Race You To the Bottom

Postby daiailun » Tue Apr 12, 2005 12:56 pm

Warning: spoilers I’m afraid. Sorry. It’s hard to talk about the movie without giving away some plot details.

I managed to catch Race You To the Bottom at the London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival which left me wondering why, since it was shot in October 2003, Amber hadn’t mentioned it in interviews or gatherings, as kind of pre-publicity? The final product suggests the movie was a major undertaking, compellingly acted and colourfully rich (shot on 35mm). I can’t imagine not wanting to mention this as a project one had just completed. Are there professional reasons why Amber may not have mentioned this as a project? Film is not my field, so sorry if this is such an infant question! Is it not the done thing to mention projects before they come into actuality?

Most of the movie was dialogue between the characters of Nathan (Cole Williams) and Maggie (Amber). Amber was probably on screen for about 80 percent of the time. She was beautiful, of course, stunning, and very compelling as the woman (Maggie) who has fallen in love with her “70/30” friend Nathan, who is much more gay than not. Nate is definitely into men, very willing to admit it, but unable to embrace it, and there lies huge problems. For Maggie, who has little clue what she wants to do in life, Nate makes her feel alive and perhaps makes her forget that there are more elements than not in her life that are unfulfilled, including her sex life with her current boyfriend, Milo, completely oblivious to Maggie’s infidelity. Apparently sensitive Milo doesn’t like ‘take-charge Maggie’. Nate and Maggie head off for a weekend of wine tasting, and most of the movie is set at different wineries and spas as it progressively details the derailment of their relationship and friendship.

Nate is someone who channels his intelligence into cutting wit and vicious humour. He uses his boyish charm and smugness to entrap and get what he wants, from seducing straight men to securing a $1,000 expense account for his proposed wine-tasting tour. His humour, intelligence, wit, and ‘all life is a party’ are his defences. When Maggie wants to move their discussions into more vulnerable territory (e.g. talking about feelings, specifically theirs for each other), he shuts her off with a series of one-liners and at worst, just tells her, essentially, she’s great fun, a great fuck, and that’s it. This guy has big issues with internalized homophobia and doesn’t want to let go of heterosexual perks. And Maggie hones in on these, to his great discomfort.

Because this movie focuses on Nate, I think the director/writer Russell Brown intended to use Maggie as a prop to explore Nate, as it was Maggie who continued to ask the hard questions throughout. There was a snarky side to Maggie, to be sure, but there were also strong hints at an innocent longing for love. She had yet to become as cynical as Nathan (although she was certainly fast-tracking towards that) which was probably Maggie’s saving grace. I was continually amazed at how Amber could move from venom, to heartbreaking vulnerability and sharp and righteous indignation in a matter of seconds. You had to see it to believe it! Amber was absolutely wonderful in this role. If Russell Brown had intended for Maggie to be a prop for Nathan’s implosion, casting Amber ensured that character had no intention of becoming a doormat! Amber gave Maggie refreshing depth.

What bugged me however, was the last 5 minutes of the film, which left me exasperated. I’m still not too sure what to make of it, as it seemed like Russell Brown had no clue whatsoever how he was going to bring the story to resolution, so he opted for tacking on a very contrived ending. Maggie and Nate accidentally meet up on a walking trail. They are friendly to each other and it evolves that they hadn’t had contact for over a year. Each is in a new relationship. Maggie apologises for not returning Nate’s (one?) call to her early in their separation. She said time passed and then pride got in the way. There was a brief pause, and then they unexpectedly and briefly kissed, holding the kiss for a fraction of a second ‘beyond friends’. Maggie smiled and laughs and as she turns away, says, “Race you to the bottom.” And that was the end of the film. And the only reference to ‘race you to the bottom.’ It left me thinking ‘what bottom’? Crash and burn, again? Had they not learned anything? Will they begin their illicit affair again? Doesn’t infidelity bother anyone, anymore??? And why was it that the woman apologised to this man who treated her like crap?

Ugh.

And yet, I'd see the movie again, for sure. Because the dialogue was quick, clever and fast, I'm sure there was a lot that I missed, certainly in subtext.

Unexpectedly writer/director Russell Brown and Cole Williams (Nate) showed up at the festival and were present for a Q and A at the end. Both seemed really lovely. Brown said that from the moment he heard Amber read for the part, he wanted her, he knew she could nail it. (And she did.) He also said that when she read for the part, she said she loved the script but immediately told him she didn’t like the ending! “Which,” he said, “is exactly what Maggie would have done.” He said from that point on he was smitten. In the notes that accompanied the film he wrote, “Amber brought intelligence to her reading that I had hoped to find, but also a vulnerability that I was not expecting.” Funnily enough, he changed the ending that she didn’t like into what I described above, which apparently Amber liked.

Let’s see, other things in the film. There was a shot of Maggie wearing that rainbow coloured scarf that Amber was seen in when she was in the UK in 2003/2004.

You get to hear Amber say ‘orgasm’ (as in mind-blowing, as in the kinds Maggie had when she was with another woman in college, news to Nate).

And there’s a brief shot from the back, of a nude Amber (Maggie), well, actually, I think it was just her back. She was kneeling on the bed in a love scene.

I do hope this film gets good distribution at film festivals and beyond, as it showcases the talents of both Amber and Cole Williams. This was intense acting! I am also very interested in what others have to say about the film that have seen it, and what Amber herself has said about her character Maggie and the process of making the film, which apparently was shot in just 20 days.

I love the droolworthy photo of Amber and her male costar and director.
Even better was the poster for the film in the background with Amber's name headlining it.

Hey Kittens,
I'll be seeing this movie on Sat. I don't think I can comment as eloquently as daiailun did after seeing it in April, but I'll post next week to give my two cents. Besides, with Amber on-screen for much of the movie playing a character that actually survives to the end of the story, it's got to be worth seeing.

Is there really a possibility Amber will be in SF for one of the screenings? I went to see the screening of Chance in Sacramento last year, but she had to cancel her appearance for an emergency. I enjoyed Chance, but I was disappointed to miss her in person.

Hello everyone,

I'm taking a total flyer here --- is there anyone in the L.A. area planning to go to the Tuesday, July 12th screening of "Race You To The Bottom" in Hollywood???? I'm going one way or the other, and could probably find a friend to drag along, but it would be much more fun to meet up with a fellow Amber-fan!! :)

Also...according the Outfest festival info, there is an after-party for the film that night at Rage in WeHo, but doesn't indicate who, if anyone, from the film will be attending. Again, taking a total flyer here....anyone know if Amber is in LA & going to the screenings or what not??? I'd be interested in Rage afterward, if I thought there was a chance she'd be there, but otherwise....it's not exactly my scene.

AqurianSky:
I attended the Opening Night Gala for OutFest last night and was floored when I walked into the lobby and Amber was standing there(first time I saw her in person.) I don't know if she will be attending the screenings but it's definatly worth going to see the film. I am kicking myself for not talking to her but I tend to get starstruck.

Race You to the Bottom
North American Premiere
Q & A Session
Cinema Paradiso, Miami, FL
April 30th, 2005

Transcribed by Eris © 2005 - All rights reserved.

This event marks the first time both Amber and Cole had seen their film on
the big screen together, so they stayed through the showing taking in their
performances and audience reaction.

CC: Carol Coombes - Program Director of the Miami Gay and Lesbian Film
Festival
RB: Russell Brown - Film Director
AB: Amber Benson - Lead Actress/Maggie
CW: Cole Williams - Lead Actor/Nathan

Russell greets Carol at the front of the theater to begin the question and
answer session. The spot light is excessively bright and blinds them.

RB: Cole Williams and Amber Benson, they´re the two main characters in the
film.

:: applause::

Amber and Cole join Russell at the front of the theater whereupon they too
are blinded.

RB: So, I guess we´ll answer questions.

AB: I didn´t do it.

CW: I really can´t see anything.

RB: Okay, first question.

Q: The protagonists live in LA?

RB: Yes.

Q: What about you guys in real life? I mean everybody involved in this film.

RB: We all come from LA.

::awkward silence. Audience giggles::

AB: But we actually shot it- ::mike feedback:: -Whoa! That´s a BIG mike.
Whoa. We actually shot it in Napa, so we were all-

RB: We shot some in LA too.

AB: Yeah, a little bit of LA too, but we actually shot it in Napa. So, we
were all transported up there from Los Angeles and it was sort of like culture
shock because everything´s much more laid back. So, I think it kind of
influenced just a little bit, all the drinking we did- no. Ha-ha.

::audience laughs::

CC: A question here? I have to plant questions. I have to warm you up it´s
my job.

RB: Okay.

CC: I´d like to ask Cole a question. Because you´ve now played two movies
being gay. I´m not trying to out you or anything, but I´m just kind of
intrigued as to why you keep taking gay roles. Because you did "Harry and Max",
and now you´re in "Race You to the Bottom". So that´s my question to you.

CW: It´s funny how everyone sort of asks that question. Oh, you did two gay
characters back to back. It´s like SO WHAT. Heh heh. It doesn´t matter to
me what the character is. But rather, if it´s intriguing enough, and if it´s
enough of a challenge and interesting enough, I´ll do it. I did "Harry and
Max" and actually, that´s where Russell and I met. And I did this film right
after that. But no, I think it´s sort of silly to make generalizations about
somebody´s life because of what sort of characters they play. But this film
is amazing. When I read the script, I was like OH MY GOD! And the same with
this other film, "Harry and Max", that we keep mentioning. ::shakes head:: They
´re just characters.

The thing that´s so interesting about this film, and this character, is that
he´s not the sort of a typical GAY character. I mean he´s GAY but he´s not.
And I kept describing him like I do in this movie. I´m playing this gay guy
who has sex with a woman the whole movie. It´s funny actually, in "Harry and
Max", I have sex with a woman too. I´m probably the only person who´s
played two gay characters back to back who have sex with women throughout the
whole movies. So, I choose some very interesting gay characters.

CC: It seemed very naughty to play devil´s advocate but people keep asking
me that question.
Okay, it´s really hard for us to see hands, but we really encourage you to
ask questions of the filmmakers because they really do come in quite useful.
Thank you.

Q: Hi. Very very well done film.

RB: Thank you.

Q: What inspired you to do that? You´re the director, right? Not the
screenwriter?

RB: No, I wrote it also.

Q: You wrote it also? Okay. So, what inspired you?

RB: Well, the script started off... First, I had this weird thought where I
was like what if Warren Beatty in Shampoo was sort of bisexual or gay. I
started thinking about that. Then I started writing this dialogue between these
two characters. It really started off with these two characters. And I had
just never seen a film, I guess, or a television show, or anything, that dealt
with what I thought was the complexity about the relationships between gay
men and women and how complicated and wonderful and tough and sexual and erotic
and fun and supportive and intimate that it could be. I´ve never seen a
film, to me, that really captured it all, so... ::awkward silence:: Is that a
good answer?

CC: Yes.

RB: Okay.

::Amber laughs::

Q: I too thought it was very well done. Will there be a sequel?

::cast and audience laugh::

RB: ::cheekily:: Ask the distributors.

Q: The second part of my question is, was it autobiographical at all?

RB: It wasn´t autobiographical at all in that there was never any trip to
Napa. I didn´t go there with some girl. I wasn´t having an affair. I didn´t
have a boyfriend. It was autobiographical I guess in that some of these issues
did come up in my relationships with women. I´m guessing in that way it was,
yes, but the actual story wasn´t, no.

Q: I was interested by the way the characters started calling each other
fag hags in the middle of the movie. Do you think that that word should be
taken as an insult? And do you have any thoughts on why it´s used as a standard
word of expression?

RB: I don´t know, I mean that word to me always seems horrible. So, I´ve
never really thought it was funny, really, but maybe it is funny. I don´t
know. To me, I would never want to be called that. I mean, who would want to be
called that?

::audience laughs::

AB: No, yeah, yeah. No, I´ve been called a fag hag actually, and I would
take it as a positive thing. I´ve never felt that it was like a negative at
all. Usually, it´s sort of like a term of endearment toward me, and other women,
who likes the company of gay men, because most of the time they´re more
interesting than the straight ones, sadly.

::audience goes wild with laughter and applause::

AB: Sorry, straight men. I love you but... There´s just something... I
think what was so... what drew me to decide, like Russell, to experience things,
where you know. You have friends that really aren´t sexually interested in
you but you bond, and you have a connection, and you love them, and all of a
sudden sometimes people confuse sex and love. And I think with this film there´
s this idea of they really do love each other and care about each other and
sex becomes this sort of, you know, uh...

CW: Vehicle.

AB: Yeah, this vehicle, to show how they care about each other, but really
it´s not about the sex, it´s about the intimacy and the connection that they
have together. And it´s also interesting that Cole, in this film, plays this
very ambivalent gay man. And I find that a lot of men that are my friends,
they´re like; if I could be straight I would, because who wants to be, you
know, name called. Be afraid to walk down the street with their boyfriend. I
mean it´s cruddy. We live in a world who will not accept me. Who wants to deal
with all the crap that goes with that, but, like I was saying earlier, if you
love somebody you´re lucky; to find anybody in this world is really tough,
so... Enough, enough! Take it.

CW: Yes, I guess.

AB: I like fag hag. I´ll take it.

RB: Maybe it just depends on who´s saying it and what context.

AB: Yes.

CW: Yeah.

RB: Okay, I think it´s about time we wrap this subject up and move onto
other questions.

Q: In the past, did you just get hired or did you go through an audition
process?

RB: Ha ha ha. Well, this actually is my favorite subject, because Amber
came in and we were auditioning and she was the first person who read for the
part. And she came in and she sat there and said, I love your script but I hate
the ending. This is actually not the ending that´s in the movie. And I was
like, I was like; I LOVE this girl.

::Amber laughs::

RB: She was just FANTASTIC. And she gave it a really great reading, and then
-

AB: And we bonded.

RB: And we bonded. And I was like; that´s exactly what that character would
have done if she would have auditioned for a part, so, Amber was the first
person cast. And then Cole was the last person cast. We actually met on this
other film and Cole was staying at my house, because he needed a place to stay.

He always like totally got the part, but in "Harry and Max", he played this
fifteen year old with long blonde hair. I just never saw him as someone who
could be able to play someone who was in his twenties, and we were going to
shut down the film because we couldn´t cast the main part. And Cole always
said you should cast me. I get it. I get it. And he showed up with his hair cut
and dyed and with facial hair and said; NOW I am reading for the part.

::Amber laughs::

RB: It was perfect and I was totally, you know... in love with Cole, so...

AB: Who wouldn´t be? Isn´t he adorable? We ALL love Cole.

::audience aws as Cole goes beet red::

RB: So, he just needed to change the look. So, all you actors out there,
the look does matter I guess. Is that good? Did I sum it up?

CW: Yes, definitely.

Q: Russell, I loved the film, but how was this film funded?

RB: It was all private equity. Asking people for money. Borrowing money. It
was a very very low budget film.

Q: How low?

::audience giggles::

RB: Looooow.

AB: We were paid like seventy-five bucks a day. We had like no money.

CW: That doesn´t mean Amber will work for that.

AB: ::eyes go wide with surprise and she gestures:: No! No, no.

::audience laughs::

AB: We basically did this because we loved the project and we love Russell.
It was really a labor of love. ::beat:: And the wine.

CW: And the wine, ha ha.

::audience laughs::

AB: Can´t forget all the wine.

RB: Yes.

Q: So, what was the original ending to the film?

RB: You know, someone actually asked that in London also, and I can´t
remember.

AB: I´m trying to think, what was the ending that I hated? I hated it so
much I´ve blocked it from my memory...

CW: There was one ending that we had for a long time.

AB: I think-

RB: Not the ending right before this? The ending right before this?-

CW: No.

AB: I´m trying to think. Didn´t they get back together? Or something? Or
no?

CW: That was a different ending.

RB: There was one. The ending we had the longest time was the lash out with
Nathan at this party with the- He´s at the party. Uncomfortable, because
they´re sort of the but behind an unfortunately uncomfortable- And then, I don´
t know if this was in that draft, but then there was a scene of Maggie at a
party dealing with someone else´s baby and she´s got a- She´s dealing with
a but too. And there was like this weird but thing. And they both felt
disconnected from the but world some how.

::audience laughs::

RB: I don´t know if that helps. It was in there for a while.

CW: They changed my set.

RB: Yes, there were like fifty endings. I could never write the ending. It
just never worked.

AB: I just felt like they shouldn´t get back together. It just seems
contrived that they would. I liked the fact that they took time away from each
other and sort of were dealing with their own thing. And sort of creating new
lives. I mean, you can look at this as though, are they going to have an affair
again? But to me it looked like they were just. They were becoming friends
again. Neither were going to be happy in the other´s world. You can´t make a
relationship work when two people are coming from such different places. To
me, I felt like they needed to understand they were friends, and they loved
each other. It wasn´t a sexual thing. I don´t know. I don´t know. What do I
know?

Q: Tell us about the car.

RB: The car? The car was actually another last minute casting. We had
another car. We had a yellow Volkswagen Squareback. And we had it for like three
weeks. Originally, I always wanted a Volkswagen Squareback in the movie
because it had this kind of Berkley vibe. Whatever. But, the yellow Volkswagen
dropped out the day before we started shooting. Its agent didn´t want it to be in
the movie, I guess.

::audience laughs::

RB: Anyway, we searched the Internet for more Volkswagen squarebacks. And
when we found one, we actually had to buy it. Here we are with this really low
budget movie, and to buy a car it seems kind of crazy. That´s how we got the
car. But from the beginning, it was always that I wanted to drive a sixties,
Berkeley San Francisco-type of vehicle. That´s about all.

CC: One more question please.

Q: What´s been the response from bisexuals?

RB: I don´t know. People haven´t really identified themselves as anything
when they respond to the movie. I kind of never thought of Nathan as
bisexual. I always thought of him as gay, but having an affair with a woman. But to
me that´s just anal-izing.

::audience laughs::

RB: I guess to me, I think bisexual implies something else. Or at least
that word incurs some baggage that is different from what is going on with this
character. I think it does have baggage, that word. And also, I don´t know if
that´s what´s going on. That´s not what´s going on with this character. I
don´t think he´d identify himself really as bisexual.

AB: This is only the second screening that we´ve had. So, we haven´t
really gotten a lot of input from the viewers.

RB: The first one was in London.

AB: Yes.

CC: This is the first time they´ve seen the film. ::indicating Amber and
Cole::

CW: Projected.

AB: Yes projected. I mean, it looks beautiful. I´m like; I´M HOT. No.

::audience and rest of crew burst into laughter::

AB: Cole and I LOOK GOOOOD. I´m like; I´d do me.

::audience whoops::

AB: No. No way. :: she breaks up and blushes::

CW: You know, actually, this is my second time seeing the picture. I saw it
for the first time while we were in London just recently for another
festival. It was amazing. It was a really fun film to make. And Amber is
spectacular. And so is Russell. Every film is such a different sort of experience,
and
this one was awesome because the first time Amber and I met actually was the
first time that we hung out and I was still a long-haired, sixteen year old,
boy band, kid, and not IN the movie. So, we all kind of bonded from the
beginning. It´s been a really neat experience, and to just sort of sit and see it
together in the theater is cool.

AB: It´s really nice to see it all kind of come together. You know, to see
IT. It´s really interesting, the film, it has this build, where you´re not
sure what the hell is going on at first. It´s just building and building and
building and then you´re like, OH BOY! It´s gonna hit the fan. And then they´
re MEAN to each other. We´re just SO cruel. But, those are the people that you
´re closest to, the ones you can be cruel to in that way, and the apologies
will work later. But to hear you guys laugh at stuff is really cool. Like,
oh, they got that, YAY.

CC: That wraps us up and don´t forget to vote.

RB: Yes, don´t forget to vote. And, thanks for coming.

CW & AB: Yes, thanks.
What's your sign?
Out Of Order.

Hi folks. The Glasgow Lesbian and Gay Film Festival (GlasGay) Is showing Race You To The Bottom on Nov. 7th at 8.30pm at the GFT in Glasgow.

I am hoping to attend, although I will probably be on crutches. If anyone from the UK is up for going I would love to meet you there. I rarely get on this site now as the library I go to has blocked this site. If anyone is considering going and wishes to contact me please do so at:

ronniebradley1@activemail.co.uk

Hope to meet folks there.

THERE'S A GLUT of gay movies where the protagonist experiences some sort of magical, sexual, self-reflective, somewhat-melancholic-but-mostly-boisterous existential transformation via road-trip. The metamorphosis-by-road-trip format is overused and too easy. Remember The Adventures of Felix? A young man's quest to find the father he'd never met and, while he's at it, get laid along the way?
So it was with a certain degree of spite that I enjoyed Race You to the Bottom, which manages to put some new spins on the genre and is played with competence by Cole Williams (8 Simple Rules) and Amber Benson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). As the two set out into the vineyards and spas of Napa Valley on assignment from a travel magazine, their best-friends-with-benefits relationship is complicated by the fact that they're each cheating on their partners (both of them men).
Shot on location, the photography is quite beautiful and, occasionally, truly inspired -- the washed-out pastels and goofy sound of the ecstasy scene when they first arrive in San Francisco is particularly great. And the story line is appropriately complex for such a plot. You can actually see yourself getting mixed up in such a situation -- the bright line test for good writing. Williams' acting is a bit ham-handed at times, but Benson consistently shines, and this, combined with an above-average script, helps the film rise above a typically hackneyed scenario.

Okay, finally saw the film last night.

Firstly, let me start off by saying that I think Amber is excellent in this film and found layers to the character of Maggie that I don't think were necessary there in the script. She was at times both caustic and yet very funny, and showed a vulnerable side to her character as well. Amber has fully deserved the Outfest award and all the rave reviews she has gotten for this role.

BUT

I cannot say that I enjoyed the film. Neither of the two main characters were in any way sympathetic. Indeed by the end I simply didn't care whether they rekindled their romance or not. By the end I had to ask myself these two questions concerning the two lead characters:

Who in their right mind would ever date someone like Nathan?

Who in their right mind would ever date someone like Maggie?

Also, I felt the film had no moral compass to it. We watch these two very self-centred, hedonistic people destroy what they had and then at the end, we are left with the idea that they have learned absolutely nothing from the experience. It made the film very shallow and, thanks to the ending, rather pointless.

But on a personal level, the film upset me. I have hang ups about re-entering the world of relationships as I have many trust and self-esteem issues. This movie re-enforced a lot of my fears and insecurities, so much so that I walked out of the cinema at the end feeling even less willing to want to find a relationship than when I went in (and I was pretty far gone as it was). Now this is not the film's fault, but my reaction to it was so strong that I know for a fact that I will never watch the film again.

I go to see films to be entertained, to be enlightened, and for the fears and horrors of my own life to be hidden away for those few hours in safety. But this film left me demoralised, disenchanted and deeply upset. Worse yet, I left the cinema feeling more alone than I have in a very long time.

Amber is great in it, no question, and I hope she continues to find roles that challenge her, but this is one film I cannot in good faith recommend, nor ever watch again.

here! Films acquired the worldwide distribution rights to Race You to the Bottom. Written and directed by Russell Brown, the film follows a travel journalist assigned to write about romantic Napa Valley hotspots. He invites the woman he has been seeing for months but the two must deal with their complicated love affair as both have boyfriends back home. The film marks Brown's feature film debut and stars rising actors Amber Benson ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") and Cole Williams (North Country). Russell Brown directs the film which he wrote and produced with Roni Deitz. The film will be released theatrically in early 2007 in select cities nationwide through here! Films sister company Regent Releasing.

This link to images from Race You to the Bottom was posted over at Essence of Amber. I had never seen them before - there is one notable one, imo.

It wouldn't happen to be the one of Amber in a bra, would it?
