Hey Everyone,

I have this idea where we can help raise more fund for the Benson’s new film. It’s like “paying it forward” kind of helping where we give someone something of value to us (that is also of possible value to others) in exchange for them to donate a certain amount to Benson Entertainment’s fundraising efforts.

To start off, I have these original vhs NTSC copy of “KING OF THE HILL” (still in mint condition) and “THE CRUSH” movie of Amber which I like to both give to anyone who can donate $10.00 to Amber’s new film.

I will be personally taking care of the cost of shipping of the stuff (no amount of money will be paid to me), all I ask for the person who will email me first that he/she can guarantee to donate that certain amount of money to Benson Entertainment. Once you emailed me that you already gave the money, I’ll be immediately sending you the stuff. I won’t be confirming it anymore with the Bensons if they got the donation from you, as we both all know that they are always busy. It’s just going to be a matter of trust – after all we are a kindred-community here who whole-heartedly supports Amber and her family.

Please do let me know what you think of this idea. Also, I hope everyone can also start giving whatever possession that they think has value (any stuff that might or might not be Amber or Buffy related) in exchange for the receiver giving donation to the fundraising of the Bensons.

Many thanks!

Have picture now and it's just lovely but OMG is it huge!

These are the two pieces I've made but I'll donate from my site anything you see...just let me know you're from the Kitten Boards and 40 percent will go towards the Benson's fundraiser. Diane also will place me and this photo at their new website, too, along with the prices for these two pieces and a description of what they are.

:lol That was an awesome trailer. Looks like it'll be pretty funny. As for Amber's character, Justine, *chuckle* having her in the background while Louis asks if there's any more money was too funny... She does that ditzy look well.. LOL it's too adorable!

Chance was first shown at a film festival on 22nd September, 2002 in Birmingham, Alabama. Those who were there will remember that Amber introduced the film, and then there was a 30-minute or so Q&A session with Amber, Diane Benson, Jeff Ricketts, and others. The Q&A was fantastic, very funny, and Amber was as wonderfully goofy as ever :lol

What isn't generally known is that myself (James) and my very good friend Kim videoed the introduction and Q&A, and afterwards we edited the raw footage, added intro & credits, and produced a few DVDs.

We are now going to make available a limited number of these DVDs, with the proceeds going to Benson Entertainment to help finance Amber's new film. The cost is $45 + $5 P&P. Please note that the DVD doesn't include Chance!

If you'd like one, just email me (my email address is in my ezboard profile).

p.s. Amber and Diane know we're selling these and endorse it!

(oops, this thread was way ahead of me, but I'll leave this here for completeness)

So apparently the film is to be called "Dirty" ?

According to this announcement (middle of page):

http://www.londonexpo.com/whatsnew.shtml

Quote:
MONDAY 12th APRIL 2005

BENSON ENTERTAINMENT present a WORLD EXCLUSIVE in conjunction with the London MCM Expo

AMBER BENSON from Buffy & BENSON Entertainment to attend the London MCM Expo with WORLD WIDE EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE.

We are very happy to confirm that Amber Benson who played Tara in Buffy will be making a welcome return to the London MCM Expo on the 14th & 15th May.

As well as being an accomplished and popular actress she also produces her own movies and owns her own production company ‘Benson Entertainment’.

Her last movie ‘Chance’ was a very popular and well received movie, we are sure that her next production will prove to be even more popular.

The London MCM Expo is very proud to confirm that both she & Benson Entertainment have personally chosen to make the WORLD WIDE EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE of the full trailer to her new movie currently titled ‘Dirty’ along with personally hosting a presentation including clips from the project at this Mays event.

Hi everyone. This seems to be the right place to post this... The following was posted a day or two ago on the Willtara mailing list. Proceeds go to the new movie, and I've bid and luckily won on a couple of Angie's (aka The Sci-Fi Bard)'s previous auctions, so I can confirm a) she's friendly, helpful and quick with the delivering-of-photos, and b) these photos are gorgeous.

--

Signed Amber Photos

I got these via Amber's Mom and the lady herself, last December when I met up with them at London Expo.

Amber signed a bunch of photos etc for me to sell on her behalf on ebay, the proceeds of which, I then sent back to her Mom via Paypal, to help towards the costs of making her new movie project.

Off the top of my head I can't remember exactly how much the auctions have raised so far, but it's definitely more than $300! Plus, every little helps ;-)

I don't make any profits from those sales and have born the costs of Paypal fees etc myself, so as to help Amber get the most out of the money etc.

Anyhoo, like I said, the last three are up for auction now, and I've set the start price at £20 for each one, just so, hopefully, my Amber auctions can go out with a bang! ;-) Of course anyone is quite welcome to bid MORE than £20 for them, as the more money we get for Amber, the better!

I know a few of you have already bought some of the signed pics from and so hopefully you can vouch for my reliability and trustworthyness as a seller on ebay etc.

SO COME ON FOLKS! IT'S THE VERY LAST THREE I HAVE!!!! GET BIDDING AND HELP OUR FAVE LADY, AMBER NICOLE BENSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. I may get to see Amber again next month as there's another expo, so there is a slim possibilty of getting more stuff signed to sell for her etc, but in case there isn't, THESE three signed pics are the last Amber stuff I'll have in a LOOOOONG while! So GET WITH THE BIDDING AMBERFANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

G'wan, you know you want to ;-)

A quick reminder: The Benson’s current eBay auctions will be ending very soon.. less than 28 hours!

The Storyboards up for bid were created by a very talented young man by the name of John Olsen. He also made the apron Paddy is wearing in the trailer. Candace Fuller-Quinn donated several extremely beautiful original art posters of Willow/Tara and Amber for the fundraiser. These are really nice!! There are also action figures and most importantly of course.. Amber’s “Untitled Dirty Script”!!

Postby abtotallyrules » Mon May 16, 2005 7:55 am

Good to see that everyone's excited about the film, as we well should be, it's incredible and the last line is the most hilarius thing I've heard in years. It now has a name, "Dirty Business" named after something Diane said after the fire in their London hotel on Friday night/ early Saturday morning.
Donate as much money as you can guys, cos this film is well worth it... dare I say it... better than Chance? And the new trailer that Amber didn't even know about until she got to London so was up making at about 1 in the morning on Saturday is even better than the old trailer. It got a big thumbs up when she showed it Saturday evening... strange what your brain can produce when you're really tired isn't it?

Christine Estabrook as Elaine was hilarious and Amber crawling through the doggie door was just too funny. :lol
I´ll probably never will forget that meat grinder. :p

I have to agree. Dirty Business, as it now seems to be called, works really well. It's shot on 35mm rather than DV as Chance was, which means it looks good on large and small screen and dare I say that - if you exclude the BTVS actors in strange situations - it's funnier than Chance was too. As well as been blessed with a tightly driven plot.
The casting of the movie is spot on which has helped Amber get good to excellent performances from everyone involved. Once Amber smooths out the final cut with the sound mix I think it'll be a film that distributors can be interested in. Much as I enjoy it I can see why, in commercial terms, Chance only ended up with that much belated limited release. Dirty Business is capable of doing much better. Anyone with half a sense of humour will enjoy this movie whether they know who Amber is or not.

BTW I found it interesting to hear it was written, at least a draft of it, before Chance and before Amber was cast as Tara.

Turn out and support this when and how you can.

Paul.

Diane asked me to post the official title for Amber’s “Untitled Dirty Script” so here it is Kittens!!

Credit for giving the film a name goes to the lovely Diane Benson! I love the title. I haven’t seen the film yet but I have read the script and it is absolutely hilarious!!! I’m very excited about this movie and hope we get the opportunity to see it on the big screen very soon!! Oh, the film has a score now (by Aaron Fruchtman) so it’s very near completion and ready for the festivals!

Funds are still needed so please visit the Benson Store and help Amber. Every single donation is deeply appreciated.
