something strange is happening with my inbox here. i got a message like a week ago, so it was written "1 NEW" next to my account. i've read the message in that time, so a couple of days ago, and it's still written 1 new, even though there's no new one since this one.

it's kinda stupid and pointless, but if anyone has an idea on how to "fix" it...!

That´s ezboard for you. I have had the same thing happen, but what´s even worse is that sometimes when I have new messages I don´t get any new message alert at all.

I tested out what you posted on another board (not an ezboard) and it had the same problem. So it's not an ezboard problem (for once)



I have copied/pasted stuff that has done that in the past, here and at other sites. Not sure what the exact problem is, but it does look like a formatting problem with the original text.

You can also go to ezNamez and look up any global user's profile, if you know their user name. There's a way to look up local users, too, but you have to have more information than just their user name, and I don't even know if that one works anymore.

Jenn check in the phone book in your area under threatre props and or costuming. Here in Toronto you can get everything from these fine folks: www.malabar.net/ - they are really helpful, so who knows if you ask them nicely they might be able to give you the heads oup on something similar a little closer to your home.

Yikes! Either the K changed the size of its fonts, or my eyes have suddenly gotten . . . dang, I dunno if it's near or far-sighted (it's not either of those).



Seriously, I know *I* haven't changed any defaults on my browser (and I'm not seeing any change on any other sites). But, having not been on the board yesterday, suddenly all the Kitten fonts have gotten HUGE.



Lemme see if I can test this using the set font feature for this post:

Well, that test above is in a "1". So I think the default is now (for me anyway) a 2.



GG What gives? Has the Kitten Senior Citizen Caucus taken over (and if so, how come I'm not in it)? Out





ETA: Nevermind---I guess it was my browser (how the hell it changed defaults w/o my doing anything to it I'll never know )

Didn't see your edit, GG. But I'll leave what I posted below, because it's a handy way of making fonts larger or smaller and maybe others can use the info.



That's weird, GG. Looks fine to me. Anyone else seeing a bigger font recently?



I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm fairly sure no one's changed the board's font.



Do you by any chance have a scrolling mouse? Because if you accidentally hit the Ctrl key while scrolling, that could be it. Doing that will increase or decrease the font of whatever page you're looking at.



Actually, you might try that now to make the font smaller.



Let us know if that fixes it, okay?

How do you get an avatar by your name? I have a link to one as my personal icon but it shows up extremely tiny?

Hey, Alia16. It looks like you've put the URL in the "Use Personal Icon" space on your Account Preferences page. Instead of there, it should be in the "My Photo" space on the Edit Profile page. (These are both in your control center.)



You can read more about it in the first post of the Test the board - Read the first post : Sigs & Avatars thread. And you can also post in there to test your avatar and make sure it's working and in the right place.



If you need any more help, please don't hesitate to post again here or ask in the test thread.

in the edit profile screen put the link to the picture in the photo option.



Also make sure the private option isn't ticked.
