We have this thread, p081.ezboard.com/fthekitt...1831.topic which is about gay politics, not necessarily about the world, it's probably more centered on the united states. You could post there, or if you are interested, making a thread that is more international might be interesting as well.



If anyone knows of another thread, maybe there is one and I am just not thinking of it right now.

...a lot. Mostly when I'm posting (guys, I don't exactly post a whole lot - two years, and I'm still shy - sheesh!!) Anything out of the ordinary with this??? I can't ever "go back" to the previous page, nor get back on without without leaving and returning to the site, and my post is always gone. My browser doesn't crash. Don't know if others are experiencing this kind of interruption.

I only discovered this board a few hours ago and I have a few questions. ( I hope this is the right thread )



If I want to post a wallpaper or any other fanart, is there a size limit?

And what can get a thread killed and how far off topic is too far?



Oh and where can I find some good W/T fanfiction?



I hope those are not too many questions.

The answers to your questions (& a lot more) are in the FAQ located at the top of the Kitten Forum page. The "ask any question" thread is also a good place to start. Introduce yourself in the introduction thread (if you haven't already) and WELCOME!!



The questions regarding wallpaper & fanfic are located in the FAQ & Ask any questions in the Different Colored Pens & Magic in 2 forums.



And the easiest thing to remember about OT comments/posts is that BtVS is that the show ended with the episode Seeing Red.... and even that show wasn't complete... it cut off shortly before the normal ending time.

Skittles answered your questions quite well, but I would not be me if I did not want to hear myself talk.



The use of the words off topic is a remnant from the old Kittenboard when only Willow/Tara and LGBT topics were on topic. Everything else was off topic and had to go in the daily thread. Since this board moved from Novogate to EZboard we got the possibility for more forums and more room for a wider variety of topics.



Our main forums are:

Different Colored Pens for W/T fic (this forum and the archives should keep you busy for years to come )

Genuine Molded Plastic for movies & TV shows

Witches & Vixens for W/T and Amber/Aly topics

Magic in 2 for other types of W/T fanart

Inward Eye for original (i.e. not based on a TV show or movie) writings and drawings etc. by board members who have been around for a little while and last but not least

The Kitten for everything else with a focus on LGBT subjects.



So actually the non W/T, non LGBT subjects that used to be off topic are on topic now, but the term off topic still gets used in the FAQ in relation to the daily threads, which is where topics can go that are either too small or random to warrant their own thread. It is not always easy to determine when a topic is too off topic. If it is, chances are that we will simply change a thread into a daily thread or repost it in an existing daily thread. The term off topic also gets used for subjects that already were or have become topic non grata, meaning there is no place for them anywhere on this board. When that is the case that is made very clear in the FAQ so the double meaning of off topic should not be too confusing, but to state some of the more important no no´s:



- general Buffy talk, anyone who wants to discuss this show can do so on one of the many, many other boards there are devoted to that show, just not this one.

- anyone who tries to be a homophobe will be removed and can continue their ramblings on a less gay friendly board, I am sure they exist too.

- fanfiction about anyone other than W/T or fanart for anything other than A/A or W/T can´t be posted here, there are definitely enough other places for that. We want to keep the focus on W/T, as we are and always will be a W/T board at heart.

- no bashing W/T, unless it is about their wardrobe (that sucks which is part of their charm), if anyone does not like them they are definitely not in the right place to share those sentiments.



It may seem like a lot to take in all at once, but this board has been around for over 4 years now so there is quite a bit of history here already and along the way stuff got added if certain questions got asked frequently, which is why e encourage newbies to read the FAQ and take the time to check out the board. Don´t worry about a thread getting ´killed´ though, no matter how long people have been here, anyone can mess up at one time or another. It is no big deal, unless it is a really big boo boo, like bashing WT.



Hum, so welcome and I hope you will stick around and if your eyes have not completely glaced over after this and you still have questions, you can ask them here or mail one of the moderators.

Well I really hope some one checks this in the next couple minutes..



Um.. I am going to a gay dance thing tonite.. ( a sorta once a month gay bar that pops up around town)..and this is the first time i have been able to go since Uni....and now..i am haveing bad fears about what I should wear.. (yes i know..i have teased people about those fears before..they seemed kinda..to girlie)



OKay.. so I have one a nice pair of blue jeans.. black kinda steal toe manly shoes..an a black long sleve shirt (its kinda cold outside) with the words dance power written down the arm..the shirt is in pretty good shape but it does have one hole in the arm..prolly cuz its my fav..

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could help me: I'm from the UK and I just recently tried to apply for a non immigrant visa (my dream has always been to work in the US and to stay with my girl longer than I am able to at the moment) and I went to the interview and the guy told me that because I haven't been working long enough in the UK I wasn't established enough so therefore I couldn't have a visa . Does anyone know how long you have to be established enough or worked long enough for?

Also does anyone know anything about sponsoring agencies- I'm a qualified Nanny/ Nursery Nurse and I was told by the place I work at (An american run Bright Horizons Day Care center) that being sponsored is the easiest way to go about doing it..but that is proving harder than I originally thought. Thank you, any help would be appreciated. Love sam xx
