I’m feeling good today, because after months of feeling lonely and that nobody understands me, and that I probably will never meet anyone who will, I met a new friend last week at the library of all places, who totally gets me. I noticed that she seemed to be struggling on the computer and asked her if she needed some help. She said, “I feel so stupid sometimes.” So, we struck up a great conversation, but the librarian was glaring at us, so she asked if I’d like to go continue the conversation in the coffee shop downstairs. (It’s a really cool library.) We hit it off so well. We stayed talking for like three hours. She is just so easy to talk to and I feel like I can tell her anything. There has only been one other person in my entire life that I have felt that way about. Anyway, we probably could have talked even longer, but I had an appointment I had to keep, but we exchanged phone numbers before I left. Anyway, her name is Sandy and she is so cool! We went to the movies last night to see “Underworld” and she fell asleep in the middle of the movie! (She said she had had a stressful day at work.) But it was funny. I teased her about it the whole way as I drove her home. She kept asking me if she had snored, which sent me into fits of laughter. She hadn’t, but I have a strange sense of humor. That’s one of the things I really like about her; she actually gets my brand of humor, and she dishes just as much as she takes, which is another thing I like about her.

I'm so happy! Happy happy happy!

I finally managed to have a full-length conversation with a very good friend of mine with whom I haven't communicated with recently due to... unpleasant shit. But I think we're in the good, at least until our next fight.

I also managed to get some warm snuggles and smoochies from the girlfriend I hadn't seen in two weeks, due to annoying shit.

Yeah, I'm happy.

so check this out, mid terms are coming up in like two days and i might study. I mean i should. anyways, I should be feeling bummed, right?

Wrong! I feel great, the greatest all year (albeit there's only been 12 days so far) but no matter, it's the same thing right? *shrugs*

so i'm feeling good and I'm not quite sure why, but i think it's good to feel good. Don't you think too?

also, there's much drama at my school lately, but then again where isn't there drama? I can't help to laugh to myself and wonder when high school turned into a soap opera. It's slightly amusing... actually, I think it's very amusing

okay well, i think i'm done. you're probably bored now anyways.

Smiles and Kisses to everyone!!

baaaby!

i'm excited and happy and bouncy because i got the virus out of my system! computerwise.

and because i'm in love.

and because we're having saul williams come play at my school. i'm on the school's production crew and this show means twelve hours of work that day (there hasn't been that much work all year) plus time for putting up flyers and such! i'm so excited about it all. plus, man, saul williams.

and class is going well, although it just restarted. i'm prepared and not really behind, and my teacher is human and understands my craziness.

hurrah!

i feel so. . . optimistic.

I'm one relieved Kitty right now...

Yesterday I told my mother I had a girlfriend (I've never been in a relationship before, of any sort) and she took it very well. Apparently everyone else in my family knew I leaned towards my gender since I was a youngen'. Huh. Too bad I didn't have a clue. (I've told my sisters a few months ago and they both pretty much said, "Well DUH!")

And today I recieved notice that I passed my Promissor Exam, which means that I can now work as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)!! That opens up a ton of work possibilities for me! I took the test on January 31st and was so sure I bombed it, I didn't even stay for my results. But I received my card and certificate today! Go me! :banana

And I may be able to see my baby three months sooner than we thought! I can't wait!! :luv2 :kiss2

Man, it's good to get some good news dosage for a change. This thread is like balm for the soul. Good to see all you kittens making with the happy in life. Me, I just made 40 bored 17-year-olds laugh about Shakespeare, plus I have a 'chick' band thing going that's looking to take off in an actual bringing in the small money way, plus I get to go to England next year for a year with said band and do the sleeping in a youth hostel while not making even the small money thing. Sounds little, I know, but it's the big ol' ship leaving the small town dock and I'm ecstatic.

Plus, I'm in luurve. The fact that it isn't mutual has actually completely failed to be an issue, because it's just so fun to care about someone like that.

Right, there goes the happy rant. Wishing all kittenly ones similar (or greater) amounts of extreme joy.

Ta fo' the listen.

Also, I drove like 40 miles and didn't get lost or turned around once! Go me!

Yeah it really is. Be sure to keep us updated when you go to England and where you´ll be at, there are quite a few people from the UK here. They may want to go see you and your band perform. Also, if you do become world famous we can say we knew you when. :p

Hmm anyway, last night the shelves on the wall in one of my bedrooms came crashing down, gave me quite a start and now I get to clean up the mess. Yet, this does not dampen my spirits nor can it whipe away the smug smile on my face. I wonder why that is.

Morning All,

Well its six in the morning and why am I happy? I have to be to work in a few minutes but yesterday, I got the promotion. I am the day shift supervisor for the entire lab. I know it means more work but it can't be anyworse then what I've been putting up with for the last 6 months. Oh and a nice heafty raise came along with it and a much bigger office. I guess there'll be no more running with scissors or playing with matches for me anymore. I have to be the "mom".

I'm off to start my day.

Love to All,

Ok, so I suppose it's a good thing...hence the happy...but see, I don't know really...I mean...I think I've met someone..no, well I know I've met someone just that she's umm, really..nice.. and I think I really like her...and and and she's beautiful, and stuff, umm...she thinks I'm beautiful and irresistible..and uhh..*wringing hands* I don't know...last night we were haning out in my house and I think I almost had a heart attack...I mean, my heart and lungs...they were like...umm..like crazy beating, fast and and..and I'm rambling, and we have great conversations...and we laugh...and she sees me and knows...I mean, is it that obvious? She asks why I have this sad face..I didn't even know I was doing that...and and why was I scared of her...ummm...well...what can I say.. 'I like you' is all I can say. Christ! yeah I'm shitting pickles...I've been just hanging out, dating..umm..WOW...yeah...is this a good thing or a bad thing... :paranoid

I think this was the most social that Wallflower Moi has been since my divorce: on Wednesday I attended a forum on homosexuality and the Episcopal Church w/ a guy I met through my blog, and last night I went to enjoy a jazz concert (free, of course) at a local watering hole. I went by myself, but was hit on a couple of times (by guys, unfortunately, but hey, it's nice to be noticed by somebody). :smug

GG Best of all, I was carded! :banana First time in 6 months or so, and first since my last birthday. Hee-hee: to be thought I might not be 21, when I'm actually 21 x 2 is a gas! :D Out

Oh, and I applied for a couple of jobs yesterday: considering how "discouraged" I've been of late (as in that official description of those who fall off the unemployment rolls, as "Discouraged Workers"), that's a Real Accomplishment for me.
