Survivor

Postby robotguru » Mon Apr 11, 2005 1:46 pm

hmm, this is interesting, reminds me of the second Survivor series in the UK

In that series, one team had gone in at a disadvantage and were being wiped out. When there was just one, Charlotte, left, and six of the other three of them decided to turn on one of their stronger members, the other two went with this but were not happy.

Given a reprieve, Charlotte was able to strike an alliance with the two that had been dragged along, leaving a three on three vote. Because the members of the stronger team all had votes agianst them in previous rounds, it was the defecting two and Charlotte that won through, and in the end, Charlotte who won thanks to that round's reprieve. I could very easily see something along those lines happening here.

Now Akathla are only one member down, it should be quite interesting, if Mfrashnak pull off a win in the nexrt challenge, they'll cut Xander loose, i think he voted Buffy once too many.

Postby DarkWiccan » Mon Apr 11, 2005 1:47 pm

Woot! Richard is finally gone... W/T are in the same camp. Akathla continues to self-destruct... it's only a matter of time before the merge... can't wait to see the next "R/L" scene with W/T.

And.. heh.. yeah... you are sort of right. It generally takes an "author's info request" to get me to jump into the reply-thing. Dunno why. I guess that in general, when it comes to reading... I like to lurk. Which is silly, b/c I live for the reader-responses... so it comes down to that whole "do unto others" thing.

Anyway...

I'm curious now to see how W/T's budding relationship is going to affect Tara's alliance with Faith and Kendra. With Willow's brains, it wouldn't be a bad idea to invite her into the alliance... somehow I doubt F and K will be keen on the idea, though.

And how will the Joyce/Buffy Mother/Daughter alliance end up affecting Akathla?? Because there is one alliance that will be near to impossible to break. Unles, of course, one of them is voted off... but they hold 2/5 votes...so... hm....

Good on ya!

Avidly reading....

Cheers

Yeah I was so happy that Richard got voted off!!!!!! You had me worried there for a second when they were talking about voting Buffy off. I said outloud to the screen oh my god she's going to vote off her kid. My roommate was like what are going on about in there.

Now a comment about Survivor Palau

I also wanted to say that I hope Stephanie wins as well, she really carried that sorry tribe. I wish they were able to keep Angie around too.

Howdy:wave

First of let me start off by saying that Ash is to adorable for words.:blush I remember when my son was his age. We used to put him in his high chair, set his plate down so he could eat, but instead, he would tip his plate, all the food would go onto his little place setting...and then the piece de reisistance...he would sit on it...literally.:laugh We always had to make sure that 1) he only ate in his diapers and 2) have a change of clothing nearby. And also at Ash's age he managed to break his play pen, we would place him inside, which he didn't like at all...but when your house cleaning,it's the thing to do...so he developed this thing in which he would place both hands on the railing, spread his tiny legs apart, like he was doing the splits, then he would start rocking back and forth, until he would somehow manage to tip the play pen so it was leaning against the couch, then he would climb out. He did that so much, he eventually broke it.:lol

So lets just say we dedicated one room or our house with only a play mat, his toys, and a wall mounted TV to be his new play room until he was about 4, now it's just his room, with play stations, DVD player, same TV and bed along with wall to wall toys that are driving me insane since he won't allow me to put some of them in the garage. How many toy boxes can a 7 year old child have...OMG!!!!!!! And don't get me started on the Playstations...I used to love going outside to play...now I have to beg to get him out...or suspend any use of electronic games...yeah but look at mommy on her computer...I'm working, yeah that's it.:crazy :rofl

OK...OK...I'm supposed to comment on Ash Island, but talking about our kids his great fun.

WOW did not see that coming with the rearranging of the new teams. Though I suspect it is only for the time being, since I forsee a future merging. OK...I'm on the "Buffy and Willow are no longer on the same team" sad band wagon.:aww But I'm also glad that mother and daughter are together and DEFINATLY happy that Willow can now use her flirtatious ways to swoon a beautiful blond off her feet...GO WILLOW, IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY...or something to that affect.:D :whistle

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...Faith cannot be suspious, but I was the one who said that she relies on instinct instead of loyalty...IT'S A MILLION DOLLARS...LOYALTY SHMOYALTY...SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:kdevil

And as for Richard: NA NA NA NA...NA NA NA NA...HEYYYYYYY...GOODBYE!!!!!!!!!!!:bow

So just out of curiosity...what is your favorite Buffy episode? Maybe I can guess what the new name for the tribe will be.

But if your still requesting any suggestions...here's mine:

MEXCLA...pronounecd MESCLA

It's a mexican thing...like Mexico is pronounced Mejico.

Mescla is the correct spelling of the word, but I thought the "X" added a little flair. Anyways, the word MESCLA in spanish means "mixed" or "mixture". Why that word, because you have quite a diverse "mix" of people on your "show"...and that is beautiful...there is no one specific race in our world, we're all human, and deserve to live a life of freedom and happiness, as long as we respect and show those same rights twards others. I could never understand why certain human beings feel that they have an obligation to tell others how to think and live their lives. But I guess it all comes back to having POWER, and as long as there is good in people, unfortunaltly there will also be evil. And that is why I also believe that when good people get together and fight our opressors, we become stronger and more united..GIVE ME THE DAY IN WHICH THE WORD "MINORITY" IS NOT USED TO DESCRIBE A PEOPLE AND I'LL GIVE YOU THE DAY IN WHICH WE ARE COMPLETELY FREE...THE FEMALE MEXICAN LESBIAN HAS SPOKEN...IN WHAT TWISTED DICTIONARY IS THAT CONSIDERED BEING A MINORITY:pride :lmao :rofl ...

but where's the Mexicans on the island...I woulda brought Coronas, with limes even...No Mexicans is Sunnydale CALIFORNIA.:crazy :whistle :lmao

AND IN CONCLUSION: You know I love your work...even though I still have a hard time reading about Tara dying...and Bravo along with many Kudos on a job very well done.:bow :bigkiss :flower

Kisses and Hugs for you and yours:heart

Saluting you while finshing up my bologny sandwich,

Irene:pride

hidden Watson – And nice to have you back at your perch. Glad you liked the challenges. I really had to think about them because we wouldn’t want the Survivors to hold back on the team challenge so they could win the IC. Yes, Joyce is a real schemer. She knows she doesn’t have much else to count on: no physical power, no skills, just scheming. Extraneous is a great word for Xander at this point. It keeps being not his turn but he’s not useful.

Quote:
Richard, on the other hand, is one bitter dude and the bitterness spills over to the Early Show Interview, even though it takes place many months after he got booted.
That was my point exactly. By the time of the Early show interview, the players should be pretty well over their issues with the other players. But Richard wasn’t. He was a player who thought much more of himself than he deserved and he got exactly what he deserved.

Your questions about the alliance and Willow’s addition are quite valid. It will be interesting how all that goes: T&W, and Faith and Kendra’s trust in T?

I think everyone will be quite pleased with the smoochies in the next update. Tee hee.

Quote:
Edited to add: how faboulous is the new Ashvatar?! He's sooooo cute. Is he walking steps already?
You must have missed the excited posts a few weeks ago when he started walking all over the place. He is now really good at walking. So exciting! He says about 25-30 words and about 10 signs so it’s really cool because you can actually find out what he wants to eat (usually bananas) or what he wants to do (usually go outside). Anyway, thank you so much.

Still Waters T – Yeah, definitely good riddance to Richard. He never really offered much to the team but thought he was indispensable. :rofl Yes, Willow is still being the player with her flirtation and her assuredness where Tara is concerned. We’ll see how she does in the new group. I can’t say that the K/F/T alliance will fully trust the newcomer.

We’ll see what happens with the reshuffle and the alliances: W/T? B/W? B/J? All new stuff.

Yeah, kids are absolutely the best thing in the world. Asher is awesome and so exciting. 5 months is pretty fun too. Starting to crawl or at least roll around a little? Cool.

ExtraFlameyWT – Sorry you were late. I generally try to post updates before work (unless it’s a weekend). I get up at 5:00 and workout and then eat breakfast and check updates or post. So I guess I’ll make you late a lot. Glad it was worth it. Glad everyone is so happy to see Richard gone! Good riddance. Very welcome.

stillrunning – Gee not surprised that everyone is happy to see Richard go. Me neither to tell the truth. Yes, W/T being on the same team will be a good thing. Thanks.

Artemis – Wow, you have time to write feedback like this and still get those updates out? Crazy man but then I’ve contended for a while that you obviously don’t sleep.

Yes, Willow is highly vulnerable. She’s on the outside of an existing relationship and easy to cut loose. She has to make herself very valuable very fast to stay on the Island. In Survivor, generally the tendancy is to have an alliance which is valid to the final four. At that point, it’s generally every man for themselves. Occasionally 2 of the final three have an alliance but it may or not matter. So you are right: if we believe that F/K/T are strong then they have room for either Robin or Willow but not both. While I think you are right about Kendra being at risk I think that it’s possible that she could see the thing as a good thing. If she is Faith’s backup and Faith pisses enough people off or is too strong, she could be gone, leaving Kendra and Tara as a 2-person alliance.

Oh yuck. I’m so scared of your second scenario. Completely evil thought about a J/R/B alliance. Glad that wasn’t the one that happened. (Of course it wasn’t – Debra & the random number generator agreed on it). And I think you are right: leaving herself aligned with Richard would spell certain doom for Joyce. Wow, you’re really put a lot of thought into the who will go/stay/align questions. All very good.

Yes, to the smoochies. Thanks for everything.

littlecrazy80 – Thanks! Sounds like lots of :clap :clap :clap from everyone for that one.

robotguru – Wow, so they had a tribe of one and she won? That’s what’s happening on our Survivor here right now. The One who is left is against a tribe of 8 right now. I totally hope she wins. It will be interesting to see who is next to go.

DarkWiccan – Yep, goodbye Richard and hello to W/T togetherness. I’ll have to think of more requests to get you to continue posting. :grin I frequently post feedback because I know that I love it so much that I should return it. Generally works.

You are right that Joyce/Buffy is nearly impossible to break up. So we’ll see how that goes and when everyone finds out.

cperrins78 – Keep in mind that on Survivor (particularly with their creative editing) there is frequently a lot of misdirection regarding how people will be voting. So yes, they were talking Buffy but she was in good shape.

Quote:
Now a comment about Survivor Palau

I also wanted to say that I hope Stephanie wins as well, she really carried that sorry tribe.

So those of you not watching, this is Stephanie. Keep in mind that this picture is taken after about 20 days on a loser team on an island. She’s now alone in her tribe while the other tribe has 8 members.

Irene73 – Hey there. Thanks about Ash. I think that he’s pretty good about eating. Generally we give him a plate and as soon as he picks it up, all the food goes on the table and he eats off the table. He’s not in trouble, just the way it is. He eats pretty well and if it’s messy, we just, like you said, feed him in his diaper. It seems like people who haven’t had kids in a while are like, “when my kids were – insert age – they never – insert undesirable behavior.” But the fact is that feeding kids is an adventure. We never did a play pen; we just let him roam around and keep an eye on him. The living room is now a play room. I can’t imagine that we’ll let him near a playstation for just the reason you say. Right now, he’d rather be outside than anything so if that continues, we’re in good shape.

Of course there will be a future merge. There always is right. And Willow is definitely planning to woo and flirt. We’ll see how that works for her. Faith lives by instinct and believe me that she has plans yet to hatch.

I’m not telling my favorite. Sorry but you are welcome to guess. Your suggestion is good but I either want it to be from Buffy or spellable from the existing names. Thanks for everything.

willlovestara – Thanks. We’re pretty darn thrilled about Asher ourselves. Another in the goodbye to Richard camp.

Willster – Thanks. Glad to make your Monday. And Go Steph!!!!! I linked to a pic above.

Yeah, i think there were three others, then the other guys decided that one of theirs was too strong and they couldn't risk keeping him when it came to individual immunity, so she was given that vital extra couple of days.

i've been a little slow on the fb lately, real life stuff,ya know. first and most importantly, how cute is asher!?! i think this is about the first time you've shown him without a hat, and he's even more adorable. does his horse have a name?

really liked your explanation of tara's pregnancy, esp. since this is a "reality" fic, and we're so used to seeing mystical pregnancies in fic, which even in the best of fics challenges my suspension of disbelief. and though i'm sure it was difficult for tara, they've created a pretty pleasant little domestic situation there.

and the island update, i have to join the "down with dick" chorus. good riddance! very interesting redistributions there, can't blame robin for feeling like the token male at this point. i was a little suprised that the mfashneks were such a clear rowing winner. if you think robin/mac, faith/buffy, kendra/xander and tara/willow, they match up pretty well, not seeing such a big strength advantage to the winning team. are you sure those dice you're using aren't loaded?

since tara alluded earlier to having better things to do with her nights, have to think willow will be around for a while. still, no matter how strongly tara may end up feeling for willow before they get off of that island, i have to think her loyalty to her original alliance would stay stronger for her.

and xander finally doesn't vote against buffy, fat lot of good that will do him, but he does live to fight another day. evidence that sometimes incompetence pays, but if he slips thru and somehow wins this thing i'll be slightly ill.

i didn't know what you meant by buffs until i read a little further, so when jeff said "drop your buffs" i had a real wtf moment. i thought if they're all going to end up in the buff, you're going to have to move this from cbs to showtime!~mary

edited to add-i'm completely curious about your name for the combined tribe, running thru the things alyson says in my top 2 or 3 eps, but haven't puzzled it out yet. my fav. thing she says is in graduation day, her snarky yet affectionate tone when she calls harmony a vacuous tramp. that's actually where i got my screen name, i didn't think i could live up to vacuous tramp, so i picked a 2 dollar word that meant the same thing.

take me somewhere we can be alone
make me somewhere i can call a home~zero 7

Asher sure is a cutey! He's getting so big.

Yay, Richard's gone! :applause It's amazing how much scheming that goes on in the show. No one can be trusted. I certainly wouldn't do well on it because I don't have that poker face.

And go Willow! She seems to have her own agenda. :blush

Looking forward to the next chapter!

Hi!

I really do like this story.

First of all I love the interactions between Tara and her daughter. That´s soooooo cute. Tara´s such a great mum and Willow will fit perfectly into their world.

I can´t wait to find out what happened on the island.

I love the fact that Ariel plays soccer. That reminds me on my own childhood. I used to play soccer with my friends all the time. I wanted to play in the (school-) team, but I wasn´t allowed to. I remember that a lot of people (adults!!!) where staring at me like I´m some kind of freak. How could I?

Why should a girl want to play soccer anyway?

:paranoid

They never gave me a real reason, why I couldn´t. All they said was, "You can´t, you´re a girl!":sigh

Well,.... duh, I knew that I was a girl. What a great reason. I still don´t get it.

What a crazy world.:crazy

Looking forward for the next update.

Hey-

Huh, no flying pigs, hell hasn't frozen over... I guess reality television is not a harbinger of the apocalypse. You write the action very well. I think what I don't like about reality television is the long, drawn-out way they eliminate people, but things don't feel so annoyingly slow-paced in your story. Also, way to get rid of Richard. Well done.

Re: Tom Delay. Don't get me started. I swear he couldn't define "checks and balances" if he tried. After his statement that the courts would answer for their behavior, a friend put my feelings very well: "When Dick Cheney tells you to chill, that's... like, whoa." I love how the republicans called the judiciary "activist" when they rule against them, and say nothing when states like Oregon and California rule that cities and counties cannot marry gays and lesbians. They want an independent judiciary, and complain when they get one.

Looking forward to more.

Survivor - Ash Island

Postby JustSkipIt » Mon Apr 18, 2005 8:45 pm

Comments then post.

ExtraFlameyWT – You are so welcome and I’m sorry that this update is taking so long to get posted. We’ve got company all week (which is great!) but makes for very busy days and nights. Hopefully you won’t be too late after this…

robotguru – That’s so cool.

meretricious – Wow, what a packed feedback! I totally understand the real life stuff. Friday we hauled 4000 pounds of recycled rubber mulch from the driveway around the house to the new playscape (took about 9 hours). Then Saturday cleaned all day for guests who are now here. But believe me, I’m thrilled to see my family.
Quote:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you and how hysterical! When I asked Rachel which of three pics to use she liked a different one best which really is a totally cute picture. But he was wearing a hat and I felt like the hat theme was wearing thin so I picked this one instead. The horse’s name is Blaze and it was Rachel’s brother’s before it was hers so it’s about 40 years old.

I understand about the mystical/traditional sources of Tara’s children in various fics. It seems like the #1 and #2 causes of Tara’s children are mystical and rape. This one was neither of the above: just common teenager stupidity and hormones or curiousity. But still she’s a spectacular kid.

Definitely good riddance and Dick won’t even be back for the jury. Just sitting on the special spewing venom and vitriol I’m sure. I’d say that in this incarnation Robin is definitely stronger/faster than Mac, Faith stronger/faster than Buffy, and Kendra much faster than Xander. I’d say Tara and Willow are a wash.

We’ll see about the “what to do with nights” and Tara’s original alliance. You’re right that Xander is slipping through but sometimes that works. Buffs are the colored bands that the Survivors wear to show their teams. Some wear them as headbands, some as halter tops, and some as wristbands.

Hmmm… The Vacuous Tramps. It has a ring but might not inspire great competition. Lol.

Irishgrl3 – Thanks. He’s great. Yes, the scheming is amazing and I don’t even think I’m actually equaling the real thing. I think Willow definitely has her own agenda and it has 4 letters: T-A-R-A.

InnocentLilAngel – Welcome. I don’t think I’ve seen your screen name before so welcome and thanks for commenting. I agree that Tara is a very good mother and that Willow should fit well into their family. When I was a kid, girls weren’t allowed to play baseball and our town didn’t even have softball so I totally get what you are playing.

ringwaldoeuvre - I’m glad that it doesn’t feel too slow to you. Sometimes I worry that this particular way of writing and posting stories has exactly that issue.

Hard to say much about the Republicians. Idiots! Arggghhh!!!

Title – Survivor – Ash Island

Part 16 – Growing Notoriety

Author – JustSkipIt

Pairing – Who do you think? (W/T of course)

Feedback – Oh yes.

Spoilers–None

Ratiing – NC-17

Disclaimer – I own none of these characters nor do I own Survivor. And believe it or not, I also don’t own any small islands. On the other hand, this island is fictional so let’s say I own it. I’m making no money from this fiction and intend no copyright infringement.

Notes – Can you identity the movie reference?

Note 2 – Rachel felt that I should use the word “defenestrated” in my next update…

“… and perhaps the most unlikely alliance seems to be that between Faith Lehane, a bold, outspoken personal trainer from Boston, MA and Tara Maclay, a 25 year-old quiet single-mother from a suburb of Columbus, OH. Of course, it still stands to be seen how long this alliance will last,” Tara snorted silently through her nose at the ridiculous article and wondered again why she had picked it up. She’d even brought a novel to read, Bellwether which a friend had recommended as being very funny, but at the airport had changed her mind. She didn’t know that she wanted to become involved in a new book on her way to Atlanta. So she’d stopped into the airport newsstand and picked up a copy of People. What could she expect from People? It wasn’t exactly gripping journalism. It was more… well as Jeff Goldblum said in that movie.., their editorial policy was no articles longer than the average person takes to have the average shit. Or something to that effect.

“Bets around our water cooler center on how long it will take the dark-haired Survivor to double-cross her alliance members.” Tara snorted again and tucked the magazine into the seat-back pocket in front of her.

“Excuse me,” the young man sitting next to her said.

She looked over at him in what she hoped, but doubted, was an intimidating and non-friendly way.

Apparently neither intimidating nor non-friendly. “Aren’t you on Survivor?”

“Um, yes,” Tara responded tiredly.

“You’re Tara,” he declared, as if she didn’t already know this tidbit of information.

“Yes,” she again responded.

“I’m a huge fan of Survivor,” he declared, “I’m Troy.” He stuck out his hand and vigorously shook hers. “Probably my favorite season was All-Stars but the Australian Outback was really good. It didn’t seem like you had it that hard actually.” She looked at him and wondered if not answering would seem sufficiently discouraging.

Again apparently not.

“So can you tell me if you won? Or who the final two are? I mean we know that you don’t even know if you won yet,” he said, “but you know who are in the final two.”

“I can’t tell you a-anything,” she said in a very bored voice.

“Because of the non-disclosure agreements?” he suggested. “Come on,” he encouraged, “I mean a random guy on a plane. How will they even know? I mean CBS doesn’t really monitor all your travel do they?”

“You know,” she hinted, “they could have spies anywhere.”

Troy nodded thoughtfully. “I guess I hadn’t thought about that.” He nodded a few more times. “Are you going to Atlanta or just making a connecting flight? I’m from Atlanta if you want someone to show you around.”

“That’s um really nice, Troy,” Tara attempted to keep from laughing, “but I have plans for the weekend.”

“Publicity trip, huh?”

“Sure,” she agreed, “um… C-CBS has us all booked the entire weekend. I don’t know if I-I’ll have any free time at all.”

Troy pulled a card from his bag. “Well if you do,” he offered, “just give me a call.” Tara looked at the card. Troy, not surprisingly, sold life insurance. “Hey,” he said, “look we’re landing in a minute.” He pointed at the seatbelt light.

Again not surprisingly, Troy spent the remainder of their landing time regaling Tara with his prowess at Survivor trivia—a true fan, it seemed. She spent her time chewing gum and attempting to not laugh at his assumptions regarding the outcome of Survivor’s current incarnation. Once the plane taxied to the gate, she attempted to allow Troy to exit first but he insisted on helping her get her carry-on bag from the overhead compartment. “Did they send a limo to pick you up?” he asked, “because I could give you a ride to your hotel.”

“A f-friend is picking me up but t-thanks, Troy,” Tara attempted to brush him off.

“Well maybe I should make sure your friend is here,” he suggested.

She sighed and realized there was just no way out of this short of telling a security guard that Troy was bothering her and he did seem star struck but harmless. “Sure,” she said, “that would be r-really nice.”

Troy beamed and followed her from the plane. Since she had no checked luggage, he declared that he would come with her to make sure her friend showed up and then go back to baggage claim to get his. They walked out past the security checkpoint and her face lit up as she spied Willow leaning forward on a chair. The redhead wore a pair of faded but very tight fitting jeans, a green summer sweater, and Tara was pretty sure no bra. Her mind clouded for a moment as she walked toward the girl, Troy keeping up stride for stride.

“Hey, there,” Troy greeted Willow immediately, “Willow, right? I’m Troy.”

Willow looked at Tara with a look of utter confusion. Although her mind was very firmly fixed on Willow’s appearance, Tara attempted to get them out of the current situation. “Hey, Willow,” she said pointedly, “are we l-late for that thing?”

“That thing?” Willow repeated dumbly.

“Yeah,” Tara repeated, “that publicity thing.”

“Ohhh,” Willow answered, “that thing.” She looked at her watch: “I think we have just enough time.”

Tara turned to the nice, if persistent young man. “Thanks so much, Troy,” she said. She turned back to Willow and addressed her hoping that Troy would take the brush-off. “So we need to go now?” she suggested.

“Yep,” Willow shook her head, “right now.” The two girls turned and walked away from the star struck young man who turned and went back to the baggage claim.

“Troy?” Willow asked as soon as they were out of earshot.

“Big fan,” Tara answered, “did you know sitting on a plane you are trapped next to someone for hours?”

Willow giggled. “I’ve noticed that,” she agreed.

They exited the airport and quickly found Willow’s car. After the redhead let Tara in she got in her own side and turned to her guest. “Hi, baby,” she smiled, “welcome to Atlanta.”

“Very glad to be here,” Tara purred as she leaned forward to kiss her host.

After a few minutes Willow pulled away and drove from the parking lot. “Are you hungry, baby?” she asked.

“Actually, yes,” Tara said.

Willow nodded and turned right at the next intersection. “I can’t believe you came to visit, Tara,” she commented almost to herself.

Tara picked up the hand she had been holding and kissed it lightly. “Why is that, Will?”

“I guess, it’s not so much I can’t believe,” Willow amended her statement, “It’s I’m really happy you did.”

“Me too, sweetie,” Tara agreed. She looked around at the scenery as Willow drove. “I gave my mom and Kent your numbers, ok?”

“Definitely,” Willow said. She teased, “That’s probably why I suggested it last night.”

“Smart-ass,” Tara playfully said.

“Seems like you like it,” Willow teased back.

“Mmm,” Tara flirted, “just one of the parts I feel particularly fond about.”

Willow smiled and blushed at Tara’s leer. As she drove she reached behind her and pulled out a small box and handed it to Tara. Before the blonde could question it, she handed her another package. “This one is for Ariel and this one is for you,” she explained.

“Willow,” Tara admonished, “you shouldn’t be getting us presents.”

“Don’t be a humbug,” Willow joked, “the one for you is just as much for me and the one for Ariel was irresistible.”

Tara quirked an eyebrow at Willow’s statement then carefully opened the bag containing Ariel’s present: a copy of How to Eat Fried Worms. “I loved that book as a little girl,” Willow said excitedly. “And I thought, ‘Island food. Bugs, worms, icky things.’ I guess it’s a theme present.”

Tara laughed at Willow’s explanation. “I’m sure she’d l-like it if you read it to her,” Tara said.

“So I guess she liked me? I mean she hasn’t decided we should never see each other again or anything?” Willow said.

“Oh no,” Tara deadpanned. “She says I should marry you.” Willow smiled, happy that Ariel approved of her. “Should I open the other one?” Tara asked.

“Yes,” Willow answered, “We’ll be at the restaurant in a few minutes. Caribbean food ok?”

“I’ve never had it. They have vegetarian?” Tara ensured.

“Oh yeah,” Willow assured her, “just no air conditioning.”

Tara looked at the light summer dress she was wearing and shrugged. “Can’t really be hotter or more uncomfortable than on the island can it?”

“I wouldn’t ask that in Atlanta in the summer,” Willow joked. “Seriously,” she continued, “you know what was worst about the Island? The bugs. I can’t believe you gave your team bug paste and not us.”

“Hey,” Tara appealed, “it was team versus team.” Before Willow could argue again, the blonde unwrapped the box to find a cell phone inside. “Willow,” she said, “you shouldn’t be getting me a phone.”

“No,” Willow disagreed, “I really should. I went way way way over my minutes for the last month and a half. We’re on a ‘couples plan’ so our minutes are free.” She pointed at the phone and said, “I programmed my number in already but I didn’t know your mom’s or Kent’s.” She pulled out her phone and hit a speed-dial button smiling when Tara’s phone began playing the Survivor theme song.

Tara laughed and looked at the phone, guessing correctly that the green phone icon would answer the phone and pressing it before raising it to her ear. “Hello,” she said.

“Hey, sexy,” Willow purred, “how about a hot lunch date?”

“Mmm,” Tara said back in a tone that was definitely true to her pet name, “I already have plans for the weekend but perhaps you could call me later.” She hit the red button to end the call as Willow parked the car. She put the phone in her pocket and climbed out of the car to meet Willow.

They went inside the restaurant which, as billed had great food but no air conditioning. “This is really f-fantastic, Willow,” Tara said as she took another bite of the grilled tofu.

“I know,” the redhead agreed. “Right after I moved here, I decided that I would find my way around Atlanta.” Tara listened to Willow’s story. “I had this sort of Baedeker with me and it had the Martin Luther King center and Jimmy Carter presidential library in it,” she continued. “And I walked all over that day until I was really hot and really tired. So I stopped in here thinking I’d cool off and eat something. Well of course the food was great even without AC and I had finished eating before I even noticed that I was the only White person in the place.”

“How long have you lived here?” Tara asked, smiling at Willow’s story.

“Two years,” Willow answered. “I went to RPI in New Jersey and moved here when I graduated. Joan had a job offer and I thought, ‘why not? I can work anywhere.’”

“So you graduated from college at 19?” Tara confirmed.

“I was close to 20,” Willow corrected.

“And now you own a software company?”

“Two actually,” Willow again corrected. By now she had paid for lunch and the two girls were driving toward Willow’s apartment. “Both turn a profit and hopefully next year I can hire someone else to do the sales work and I can concentrate on development.”

“You’re really amazing,” Tara said.

Willow smiled as she let the blonde out of her side of the car and led her to her apartment. “Believe me when I say that the feeling is quite mutual,” she said.

As soon as Willow had opened the door, Tara looked around the apartment. The redhead had described it well and Tara slowly walked around taking in the sparse but tasteful decorations. Willow had a few pieces of art hung on white walls in the large downstairs living room. The entertainment center on one side of the room looked large enough to hold a television and stereo but the doors on it were pulled closed to keep it from overwhelming the space. The decoration was very clean and modern so that it looked like each item in the room was carefully placed. Tara stopped in front of a Kandinsky print and studied it. After a few moments she felt Willow’s arms wrap around her waist. “Mmm,” Tara murmured.

“Welcome,” Willow whispered as she kissed the back of the blonde’s neck.

“I haven’t even said ‘thank you,’” Tara joked. She turned in Willow’s embrace and looked into her green eyes. Softly she raised her hands to stroke the redhead’s face. “You’re so beautiful, Willow,” she whispered before gently pressing her lips to Willow’s.

Willow allowed Tara to take control of the kiss, to lead her. She felt the softness of Tara’s lips pressed against hers. Then the blonde parted her lips slightly and Willow mirrored her action. As Tara’s tongue slowly began to trace her lips, the blonde moved her hands to wind them in Willow’s short hair. One of them made a low moan. With excruciating slowness, Tara allowed the tip of her tongue to delve just inside Willow’s mouth. Feeling how the redhead was yielding to her desires, she ventured deeper, tracing each of her teeth. She felt Willow’s hands stroking her back and began stroking her tongue along the other girl’s tongue in a matching rhythm. Her hands moved from Willow’s hair down her back and to cup her ass. Smiling she broke the kiss just enough to whisper in Willow’s ear: “Your ass,” she squeezed slightly with her hands, “looks just amazing in these jeans.”

“Oh God,” Willow groaned as she began kissing the blonde’s neck. “I um really hate to say this but believe me I would love to stay here and keep doing this,” she punctuated every word with a kiss and most with a breathy moan, “but I um got us uh tickets to see Cirque Du Solei this um afternoon.”

“Right,” Tara agreed without stopping her hand’s motion nor stopping Willow from this exploration of her soft neck, “a um m-matinee?”

“It was,” Willow continued kissing a path down Tara’s chest, unbuttoning her blouse as she went and stroking the edge of her bra, “the the evening show was sold out.”

“Sold out,” Tara echoed, “and it’s s-supposed to be really good so we should g-go.” Her hands had by this time pulled the edge of Willow’s shirt from the waistband of her jeans and were pushing it up her back, revealing that her guess was correct and the redhead was definitely sans bra.

“Right,” Willow agreed, “should go. Definitely.” Her fingers deftly releasing the front clasp on Tara’s bra seemed to disagree with her words.

Tara brushed her fingertips along the sides of Willow’s slight breasts. “We could continue this l-later,” she whispered.

Willow gulped in response before forcing herself to pull her hands and mouth away from Tara’s skin. “Very mature thinking,” she agreed, her heart beating in her chest. As both girls attempted to calm their breathing they looked into each other’s eyes. After a few seconds they both began to smile and then blush.

Note: While I took a turn on a computer game, Rachel helped me write. This is what she inserted:

Then they went to Cirque, which sucked cause they had bad seats, and they both wished they had stayed home and fucked like bunnies. But they didn’t, so they cried and cried and cried.

The End

“Why don’t I show you the rest of the apartment,” Willow suggested, taking Tara’s hand and leading her up the stairs.

“First your hotel room, now your apartment,” Tara teased.

Willow ignored the teasing and pointed out the bathroom and then her bedroom. As she had described it, the room was large but not too large. A queen-sized sleigh bed was placed in the exact center of the room. An elliptical machine and a rack holding various dumbbells were on one side of the room while the other contained an oak dresser. She set Tara’s overnight bag on the dresser and pointed to the door connecting to the bathroom. “I’m going to take a shower before we go,” she explained, “We have time if you’d like to also.”

“You wouldn’t like to shower together?” Tara teased.

Willow softly kissed the blonde. “I would but we definitely wouldn’t make it to the show,” she said. She winked and walked over to pull some clothes from her closet and dresser. “Do you need anything?” she asked.

Tara shook her head and lay down on the bed as Willow went into the bathroom. Fifteen minutes or so later, Willow came out, toweling off her hair. “Hey, baby,” she said, “I set some towels and stuff on the sink for you.”

Tara looked up and smiled. “Thanks.” She held up the phone. “I think I programmed some numbers into my phone but I don’t know my number.”

Willow walked over and took the phone and hit a few buttons. “I programmed it in as ‘my phone’ so you couldn’t forget it,” she explained and kissed the blonde on the forehead.

“Thanks,” Tara said as she kissed Willow back. She walked over to her bag, pulled out some clothes, and went into the bathroom.

By the time both girls had showered and dressed, made out a bit more, and got into the car, they were nearly late for the show. Both were incredibly glad that they had made it, however, as they watched the amazing acrobatic feats. “It’s like a dream, isn’t it,” Willow whispered at one point as she held Tara’s hand.

Tara looked at the girl, smiling before answering: “Every bit of it.”

After the show they had dinner at one of Willow’s favorite Thai restaurants. They were about half-way through their meal when they were interrupted. “Excuse me, aren’t you two on Survivor?’

Willow recognized the voice immediately and gritted her teeth as she answered her best friend: “Joan, what are you doing here?”

Joan inexplicably pulled up a chair and reached over to help herself to a dumpling. “You’re all mystery woman these days,” she explained, “but you don’t have to have a 190 IQ to conclude that you must be staying in town for the weekend or you’d ask me to feed Gato.” She turned to Tara and stuck out her hand, “I’m Joan. You’re ‘Tara Maclay—a 25 year-old single-mother from Columbus, Ohio.’”

Tara laughed at the familiar patter and returned Joan’s handshake. “I’ve heard a lot a-about you,” she told Willow’s friend.

“Not me,” Joan said, “Willow tells me nothing. She’s all mystery woman ever since she got home from the Island.”

“You were the one who submitted me for the show,” Willow argued.

Joan told Tara conspiratorially. “Let me tell you, sweetie,” she said taking another bite of their dumplings.

“Here,” Willow said pushing the plate across the table, “why don’t you help yourself?”

“I think I will,” Joan agreed as she pointed at their wine glasses. “You didn’t get me any wine?”

“We didn’t invite you,” Willow fumed playfully.

“I was saying,” Joan said to an amused Tara. “This girl moved to Atlanta a few years ago and began cutting a wide swath through the community. Then she goes on Survivor.”

“Fascinating,” Willow said through clenched teeth. “We can call the manager over if you want,” she offered Tara.

Tara pushed the dumpling sauce at the other girl. “Oh this is very interesting,” she said teasingly. “Please go on,” she told Joan.

“So she comes home a few months ago and she’s downright introverted. I mean I can understand the wish to eat and bathe and all that because ‘ick’ but she didn’t have the same ‘interests’ as before if you know what I mean,” Joan confided. “She hung up this calendar and numbered it in red the days until the show started. One time I saw her computer screensaver and she had it programmed down to the second to show the time until the premiere.”

“Hard to believe she’s never been defenestrated isn’t it?” Willow whispered to her date.

Tara smiled at the description of Willow counting down the time and the obviously playful banter between the two friends. Before she could say anything else Joan stood up and waved at the two of them. “Nice to meet you, Tara Maclay from Columbus, OH,” she said. She turned and left the restaurant as quickly as she had arrived.

“You counted down the seconds?” Tara asked disbelievingly.

“Not like by hand,” Willow pleaded, “I mean the computer did the calculation.”

Tara smiled at the redhead before using a very sexy voice: “Take me home, Willow Rosenberg.”

Willow took a second to react but quickly waived the waiter over for the check. “Oh, your friend took care of it,” he said.

“Really?” Willow asked. “Joan paid?”

“Really,” he assured her.

The drive home was quick, proximity to her house being one of the reasons that it was Willow’s favorite restaurant. Once inside, the two women went silently up the stairs until they reached Willow’s bedroom. “You can get ready for bed first,” Willow offered, “if you want.”

“Ok,” Tara responded stepping closer to the redhead.

“Um,” Willow said, “it’s um that way …”

Her words trailed off as Tara placed her hands on the redhead’s hips. “Yes,” Tara whispered before placing a gentle kiss on Willow’s neck. Her fingertips immediately brushed the hem of Willow’s shirt up to find skin underneath as her mouth left a trail of kisses along the redhead’s jugular.

“What… um … are you …,” Willow tried to form a coherent question.

“Something I’ve wanted to do since at least day eight,” the blonde teased as she began unbuttoning Willow’s shirt from the bottom.

Willow smiled as she decided to tease Tara a little bit, her own hands cupping the blonde’s ass: “What’s that?”

Tara’s lips moved to the soft spot at the base of Willow’s throat so that the vibrations of her whisper tickled the pale skin and freckles she found there. “You’ve slept with half the women below the Mason Dixon line and you can’t recognize a pass?”

Quickly the redhead unzipped Tara’s skirt as she teased back: “Only half the lesbians. Not half the female pop… Oh God…” The final words were spoken as Tara eased her lover’s shirt off her shoulders and began stroking the skin along the edge of Willow’s silky bra. Feeling somewhat overwhelmed with the pace, Willow raised her hands to clasp Tara’s cheeks and bring their lips together. As they kissed, she began backing them toward her bed. She slid Tara’s skirt off completely; barely missing a step as the blonde smoothly stepped from the garment. By the time her legs contacted the tall piece of furniture, Tara’s blouse as well as her own shirt, belt, and bra had joined it.

Tara unzipped Willow’s slacks and slid her hands inside. “These… must… go,” she gasped between kisses.

“Yes,” Willow agreed as she lifted her hips from the bed. As soon as Tara had pulled the smaller girl’s pants off, Willow scooted backwards to pull the blonde up with her.

Tara looked down at her lover with a predatory smile before bending her mouth to the girl’s small chest. Gently, so lightly Willow could hardly feel it, she began placing kisses on the white skin surrounding the girl’s nipples. Willow’s hands caressed the back of Tara’s head and trailed down her smooth back. When Tara kissed the tip of one nipple she allowed a low moan to escape her lips and when the blonde’s mouth closed around the same protrusion her hips arched from the bed.

Even as she sucked Willow’s hard nub deep into her mouth, Tara took the opportunity to pull the redhead’s panties down her legs and drop them on the floor. She inhaled deeply through her nose, nearly salivating at Willow’s scent surrounding her. Trying to resist the temptation to slide down the bed and begin licking Willow’s essence direct from her source with so little foreplay, she forced herself to move her lips to the girl’s other nipple. Once there she slowed her pace, lightly kissing the tip of the nipple and licking broad strokes.

“You’re overdressed,” Willow gasped, her fingertips tracing the waistband of Tara’s panties.

“What do you think we should do about that?” Tara whispered.

Willow smiled before rolling over on top of her lover. “I … think … we … should … “ Each word punctuated her tongue circling one of Tara’s nipple. As she said the final word, she pulled off the only remaining clothing either of them wore and tossed them to the side. She couldn’t resist commenting, “Oh God, Tara, you smell so wonderful.”

The smaller woman brought their lips together again as she began rocking her hips against Tara’s. Their bodies set a rhythm and each woman could feel the other rubbing against her center, their wetness mingling together with the scent of shared pleasure.

Tara could feel herself losing control. “I wanted to g-go slow,” she gasped even as she felt body reacting with anything but restraint. Her fingers mirrored Willow’s actions as each woman began stroking the other’s center.

“We did,” Willow responded, “now I want to be inside you.”

“Oh yes,” Tara whimpered as she slid one finger gently inside Willow as the redhead kneeled above her.

Willow moaned as she felt her lover inside her. Tara quickly added a second finger and Willow knew she must be wondering what was keeping the redhead from matching her actions. Willow leaned forward so that her mouth was just next to Tara’s ear. Her fingers waiting at the blonde’s very wet entrance.

“Before I go…” Tara’s fingers’s movement inside her made coherent speech somewhat difficult. “… inside you… I—I—I love you,” she gasped as she slid two fingers inside Tara. She felt Tara’s body tense and heard her sudden intake of breath and didn’t know if it was surprise or pleasure. She knew that Tara’s softness and wetness was a mirror of her own and began moving her hand in rhythm with the blonde’s.

Tara heard Willow’s proclamation of love as she felt the girl’s fingers slide inside her. She was overwhelmed with the perfection of the feeling. Knowing she wouldn’t be able to speak to express her feelings, she raised her lips to again capture the redhead’s. The pace quickly increased until each woman was thrusting forward to the other’s rocking hips and pulling back to meet again. Tara could feel her orgasm building inside her. She clutched at Willow’s hip with her free hand to pull the smaller woman closer. When she felt the first flutter of Willow’s inner muscles, she let go herself.

“We should try laying the right direction on the bed,” Willow joked a few minutes later as she languidly stroked Tara’s stomach, enjoying the fluttering aftershocks that passed through the blonde’s body as she did.

“Hey,” Tara responded, “we’re on a b-b-bed. That’s a big step in our relationship.”

Willow laughed as she considered it. “I think it’s a step for the better,” she concluded.

“You know what would be another good step?” Tara whispered. When Willow shook her head Tara told her: “My telling you I love you too, sweetie.”

Willow’s face split into a huge smile as she heard Tara’s words and she immediately kissed the blonde again and thoroughly. As they broke the kiss she looked at the blonde with a flirtatious look. “You know one good thing about lying sidewise on the bed?”

Tara shook her head no.

“With the foot board,” Willow declared as she slid down Tara’s body to kneel on the floor, “I couldn’t do this.” With Tara’s legs over her shoulders and her thighs against her ears, she couldn’t hear the blonde’s answer but her response was definitely what the redhead was expecting.

“SEEN ABOUT TOWN”

“… and it would seem that Atlanta’s own Survivor contestant, Willow Rosenberg was spotted having an early breakfast Sunday morning at In with… That’s right: none other than her competitor on the show: Tara Maclay. Though the contest is fierce for the prize of one million dollars, it would seem these two women have resolved that competition after the show. The waiter could barely get their attention as they hid in the corner, feeding each other crepes. Elsewhere around town…”

Oh, yummy! Another great update (as usual :) )

My only critique would be I wish you had put Rachel's addition at the end as a footnote. It really really threw off the wonderful scene you had developing.. and though it was cute... it's abruptness kind of... well.. pissed me off.

But, that's all... totally loved it otherwise. And the magazine "blurb" at the end was priceless... though I hope they don't get in trouble from the producers.

Cheers

I'm a big fan of Survivor (although maybe not as hardcore as Troy) and I was so excited to see a crossover involving the Buffy cast!

One of the things I love about this story is how the readers are privy to the development of W/T's relationship during their time on the island as well as in real life after the show. Like a parallel timeline if you will. Was there a mandatory period when the contestants weren't allowed to contact each other before the show aired? Willow counting down the seconds on her computer was too cute.

I agree with DarkWiccan, that little newspaper tabloid at the end was priceless! I can very easily imagine reading it alongside a grainy photo of them hiding in a corner secretly enjoying each other's company. The caption would read: "Willow and Tara: Lovers from the hit tv show Survivor".

The little note in between had me giggling for a while. Although tempting, I was glad W and T didn't miss the Cirque de Soleil show. I saw it last year and it was one amazing experience I'll never forget. (It does help to be sitting in the third row).

Can't wait for the merge! It'll be interesting to see whether the alliances will hold once everyone is brought together.

What an update! :thud :D It was nice seeing the change of Tara coming to Willow instead of Willow usually going to her. :) lol Troy, the annoying Survivor fan, was funny...even though he seemed kinda dense - not getting Tara's leave-me-alone vibe. :p

The update was really sweet. And YAY very very nice finish! :bounce Didn't see that coming :shock but haha YES Woo Hoo! :bounce Awesome descriptions, great plot, and when Willow told Tara she loves her, omg awww, and Tara said it back afterwards, again awwww. :heart It was all hot and sweet and awwww. :D

Personally I found Rachel's note funny. :p

Is it this one?? If it is, is it the movie or the cartoon? The movie I saw when I was little...though come to think of it, are there more than one movie of it? Can't remember. Anyway, if it's that Christmas movie with that misery (don't know if that's the right word, non-native-English speaker here) old man who met that/those ghosts and the three spirits of Christmas? I saw it when I was maybe 5-6 years old, which was majorly scary when the ghost(s) came, and I had to sit on dad's lap cos that was all safe, covering my own eyes lol.

Btw I was supposed to go to an early lecture today :hmm but came across this update and forgot all about it...oops! :laugh Now it's too late, so I'll just stay home studying on my own. Bummer. :p

Ooooh, Tara flies to Atlanta. I like how they couldn't keep their hands off one another prior to "Cirque", what restraint they had. :D Rachel's comments were funny! And had they not eventually made it to the bedroom I probably would've agreed with her. Ha-ha.

Yay, we have "I love you's" too. Great update!

Okay, I admit, I've been a really really bad kitten, and I haven't left any feedback.. But I'm reading this one religiously, and I adore it... Sorry about the non-feedback, I was kinda crazed lately, but I really think this is one of the best fics around...

now for the update... Yiiiiiipie! finally they are getting some action! Good for them! [and sure, for us too, but whatever.. hehe..] and I gotta compliment Willow's timing- The love confession was sweet, and sexy, which is overall very good. :)

Of course, I'm gonna be waiting for more.. more.. more... hehe.. BTW, and without any connection to anything.. Why did you choose the name Asher? just wondering.

What a great update Debra. It's wonderful that Tara made the trip all the way to Atlanta to see Willow. And I was glad to see that they still have things to get to know about each other.

okay....and then there was the romantically hot smutty smut smut :drool

I can't wait for more...

ps...I had a lot more to say...and this time, I had the time to say it...but my computer keeps crashing :spin So I thought I'd better make this one a short FB.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful story. Oh and...how funny/annoying was the whole Troy incident? :lol :( :p

I think everyone will be quite pleased with the smoochies in the next update.
quite pleased doesn't come close to describing it. Thank you :bounce :bounce :bounce that was very sweet, very loving, and hot too! I saw the rating and my heart literally skipped a beat.

You know, I had a dream about the first time they slept together in this fic. Actually, it's those sequence of thoughts that you have in-between sleeping and waking, so I'm not sure the term dream is entirely correct. Why was I having fantasy thoughts about the sex life of characters of a fic? That's beside the point. Anyway, I thought it'd take place in Columbus and after a night out they're in Willow's hotel room and things get hotter and hotter but Tara pulls away cos she's thinking about Ariel (even though her Mom's taking care of the darling little girl). And she says she has to go home and they linger with the goodbyes but she then remembers her Mom's words to her, that she'll wake Ariel up next morning and Tara doesn't have to worry. And she throws herself back into Willow's arms.

A bit overdramatic, right? I like your version better, more togetherness and more purposeful somehow, like it's not a choice between making love and being with Ariel. Though I'm quite partial to Rachel's ending too :lmao

Joan's banter with Willow was great, especially since it gave Tara a little more insight into her love's life before the Island and her personality too.
Quote:
We’re on a ‘couples plan’ so our minutes are free
speaking as someone who hasn't lived with the gf for almost 10 years (sometimes in different countries), taking advantage of the best telecoms plan is an absolute must. One month, I racked up so much on my phone bill by mid-month that I wasn't able to make anymore long distance calls until the next month, even when I offered to pay it straightaway. But getting a couple's plan on your cellphone, like giving each other the keys to your homes, or planning a vacation together, these are significant milestones of being a couple, doing things a couple will do.

And boy, they are so fully a couple now. To a single Mom who hasn't dated a lot, and a playgirl who has made such an impression on the scene, declaring their love for another is an enormous step. I get the feeling this is not something they've said to many people, if at all, and it means a lot.

Interesting that the tabloid snippet had them feeding each other crepes and not simply sharing breakfast. I know the reporter may be exaggerating but feeding each other, in public (a hidden corner in a restaurant is also public too), especially knowing the risk of being recognized, is a pointer at how infatuated they are, damn the torpedoes, right? I can just imagine now, at the Reunion, how glowy and couple-y they're going to be, and how's about the other Islanders' reactions :) ? Oh gods, I have a vision of Willow proposing to Tara at the Reunion, wow, is that taking fantasizing to an extreme? I'll wait and see. I can't get enough of these in-between parts, as much as I love the episodes of course.

someone needs to let tara know that headphones on an airplane are a must, not only to pass the time, but to help give a polite cold shoulder to people who sell insurance. nice to see tara going to willow this time. makes sense that willow's done the traveling so far, since tara has a child, and willow seems to have the higher income, but nice to see tara making the effort. easy to imagine that not worrying about a child in the next room made their first sexual encounter a little more free than it might have been at tara's.

i got a really big kick out of joan. she showed up, made her point, and cleared out, and had enough class to pick up the check. my kind of friend.

the people article was a crack-up, and tara's response seems to imply that her alliance with faith will stay strong, and i can't see them turning on kendra, either. really makes me want to get back to the island and see how it's going to turn out. not sure if anyone has tagged your big chill reference yet, great flic

btw, did you see that rob and amber's wedding is going to be televised? i've only seen about 4 minutes of them on tar, but that was too much, can't imaging watching their wedding~mary

take me somewhere we can be alone
make me somewhere i can call a home~zero 7

I go away for the weekend and look what I miss. *grin* Woo hoo for an update! And WHAT an update! The way you portrayed it was beautiful (though I thought the little note was hilarious hehehe). Joan was great. In and out...heh. Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOO much! I can't wait for more... :bounce

Poor Tara, stuck with a fanboy... :sigh But it seems that this kind of thing is going to be happening with increased frequency as other survivors fall by the wayside and more attention is focussed on those who remain. Plus, if the press is noticing their hiding-and-crepe-eating excursions, that'll single them out big time. I just hope their legion of fans are of the 'Yay for you! Respect!' type, rather than the creepy stalker 'I wanna be your best friend and I'm not taking no for an answer' type.

(But I imagine that in Ashverse there's a Survivor message board with a Kitten forum for the W/T shippers, so anyone messing with them will get a ton of kittens jumping on them. And that wouldn't be as pleasant as it sounds.)

That was a really sweet and, what's the word, HOT! chapter. I wonder if Willow will still get to use her big speech? Though I don't think Tara's very doubtful of her intentions, it'd still be nice for Willow to say it - it'd no doubt lead to more smoochies, and that's never a bad thing :D

Big giggles for Rachel's alternate chapter ending :lmao

Hey Debra!

Frankly, I....well..I simply don't get reality TV shows.... and I stay FAR FAR away from them...Honestly...I tried... but it's just not something for me, I guess...:blush .... So I was really...."afraid" of reading this knowing my negative opinion about reality TV....I just thought I'd hate it. But! I absolutely LOVE it...even thinking maybe I should try and watch "survivor"....:shock ...*Disclaimer.....If I offended anyone, sorry, that was not what I meant....

Now for the story.I absolutely (hm...that word again...) adore how you combine (not the best word....but at 3am can't think....) Island and RL...They know what's going to happen... and you give some clues in "RL" bits, which makes my brain work "(THANK YOU!!!!) meaning I'm trying to guess things. Did Tara win? Willow won? Willow was sent home..wasn't she???....ops...she's with Tara now..." Oh...and now I know that they don't know who won...right? so I can stop guessing:lol We get two stories in one fic.....I'm always waiting for next updates,be it reality bit or island (gotta say, that I feel sorry for Akathla team...they always seem to lose, well most fo the times....gotta have some kick ass motivation to go on) bit and usually I read them at work because you update in the morning (well, for me) :lol Thanks god this last update was in the evening!!!!!! It was very sweet and hot:) Totally loved the add on:lol :lol :lol

Please, keep up with amazing writing! And if I'm going to get addicted to "Survivor".....I'm going to blame you for it!!!! :grin :grin :grin j/k ;)

:peace :heart
