ok..the artist is part lakota and part white...her voice is heavenly...and she writes/sings chants on her albums that are spiritual, inspiring, and touch the hearts of all people.

I know who the artist is now but I'm having a heck of a time figuring out what the song is. Could I just have one more little clue about the song title? I swear I will download this song and listen to it daily, but it's driving me nuts that I can't figure out what it is. Any help is much appreciated. :pray

Okay, I think I've got it. Good for you for introducing me to this artist. I would have never heard of her if it weren't for your post.

Denean "Thunder?"

let me know if I'm right.

All right, you've stumped us again. Does anybody know this one? I think we need another hint, pretty please. :)

Not to be rude, but how about we just go to the next song?

Next: This one should be easy and considering the fact that I can't get the darn song out of my head, I might as well make use of it. :-D

Talking, laughing, loving, breathing
Fighting, fucking, crying, drinking
Writing, winning, losing, cheating
Kissing, thinking, dreaming

That would be Betty doing the theme song from The L-Word, I think it's called The Way That We Live.

Kenny and Linda on the way to Chelan
transmission’s shot, no back up plan
will they hitch a ride?
or get into a fight?

Is mine too hard? I don't want to hold up the game. A hint....this song is by three really cool women from Portland with one of the best albums released in 2005.

Bowling For Soup, right? "Dance With You?"

If so, here's mine:

Dry your eyes
And stand upright
Put a smile on your face
He wouldn't want us to cry

The sun will rise
The stars will shine
Turning day to dusk
And night to dawn
We'll pass on
But until that time

Bonus points if you can tell me what TV show that song played on!

Tracy Chapman "Say Hallelujah"?
No bonus points for me. :(

Love can be so strange
Don't it amaze you?
Every time you give yourself away
It comes back to haunt you
Love's an elusive charm and it can be painful
To understand this crazy world
But you're not gonna crack
No you're never gonna crack

Garbage - Run Baby Run

I love that CD. It didn't leave my player for months after it came out.

She breaks her heart
Just a little too much
And her jokes attract the lucky bad type
As she dips and wails
And slips her banshee smile
She gets the better of the bigger to the letter

Heart - No Other Love

Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night
What can be said about a society that is more comfortable seeing two men holding guns than holding hands?

Don't Stop Believing, Journey

It’s never over, my kingdom for a kiss upon her shoulder
It’s never over, all my riches for her smiles when I slept so soft against her
It’s never over, all my blood for the sweetness of her laughter
It’s never over, she’s the tear that hangs inside my soul forever

Enrique Iglesias - "Por Amarte"
(I liked Enrique much better when he sang songs like this.)

Here's mine:

She's my friend of all friends
She's still here when everyone's gone
She doesn't have to say a thing
We'll just keep laughing all night long
