A big one happened to me last night, much to other's enjoyment! But for me it's torture.

Having to hear other's having sex. Especially if it's my own sister! I don't want to hear it. I don;t mind that she does it but at least close your door or keep it quiet! As a lesbian it's offensive to my nature hearing all the moaning and grunting. Ugh. Sure it's her house and she's married, but the fact that her kid's were still awake!!!!!

I don't think she would fancy ME brining a girl in the house and having loud sex in my room. So seriously, keep it quiet!

No wait, I have a worse one - having to see people having sex in their car, in a public place.

It's like my curse - no one else sees it, but put me in a random parking lot and I will stumble upon the rocking vehicle with foggy windows and bouncing buttocks in the windows.

I'm all for freewheeling luuuuv here folks, but in addition to being uncomfortable, how romantic is the Target parking lot?

ooo fun fun fun!

1. working at office max, I deal with customers. I HATE when people call the store and ask if we have like 10 different items in stock, how much they are, how much the TOTAL would be (tax and all), and then ask us to put it on hold for them at the register. :| Ok.. if you like... see somethin in an ad and want to know if it's still in stock fine. But when you ask us to hold like.. freaking chairs, or cardstock paper or SOMETHING that's GONNA be in stock, get off your lazy ass, and go get it yourself so I can continue doing MY job and helping people who are actually IN the store.

2. Continuing with work.. freaking customers (its a certain "group" of people but for the sake of people reading this I won't mention what group) who SERIOUSLY try to bargain with us to get the price down. "Oh well, Office Depot has it for bla bla bla..." ok. Office Depot is across the street. We don't give a shit where you go. Just leave. OR they'll try to use coupons from like.. 2004. Good lord!! It's two years expired! We aren't gonna take that! UGH! I just... need to get out of retail lmao

3. Driving: The signal thing, yes. Especially when they LEAVE it on after they turn/change lanes. Bugs the hell outta me. But the biggest pet peeve when driving is when people follow too closely behind :| I CANNOT stand that. Do NOT ride my ass!! I can't go any faster than the flow of the traffic, and neither can you, so chill the hell out!! I've already been hit from behind because of that, so now I'm paranoid, but it's just unneccessary. Especially in like bumper to bumper morning traffic on the highway. You aren't gonna get anywhere any faster by being right on my ass.

*takes a deep breath*

Here I stand, with everything to lose, All I know is I don't wanna ever see the end. Baby please I'm reachin out for you, won't you open up your heart and let me come back in. Lets be us again..

People who leave Christmas decorations up long after the holidays.

I'm also with Ashleigh on the tailgating thing. We are not on a super speedway in NASCAR, there is no "bump drafting" on the highways. But to piss those people off and since I'm from the NJ (the road rage capital of the world), I drive slower or as slow as the person in the next lane so they can't even pass.

People who say "I love you" every five seconds to their partners.... it's bad that that annoys me, but I've just spent three hours listening to it.

"oooo you just picked up a spoon, I love you".... "I love you more now than when I started this sentance.".... "you're breathing, I love you"...."you have two thumbs, eight fingers and ten toes, I love you"

I keep thinking that those words become hallow when used so....frequently? Not sure if I worded that right, just don't beat me with a stick :ashamed

Ooook....here's my list (yep I have enough peeves that there is a list for them)

1) Net/text spelling/grammar etc. I think a lot of people will agree that it doesn't take much effort to perhaps capitalise the I, or use commas, or just spell out the word in full. Personally I've always found that using text or net language lowers the intelligence of the user in other people's eyes, I tend to avoid it like the plague now, even if I use up more credit on my cellphone by writing it all out in full. I'd rather have legible messages hehe.

And what's with those weird gaming languages like l33t?? Like, WHAT?!?!?!

2) The loo seat. Yep, I live with 4 men, and I have to deal with this all the time. UGH.

3) Having to do all the chores. See number 2. Self explanatory really.

4) Leaving the lights on. I'm the one who has to pay the electric bill so it gets to me a lot.

5) People at work having OH SO MANY cigarette breaks. I don't smoke, I work my butt off at work and don't get any recognition for it, and they just stand there 75% of the shift smoking! How fair is that, I do ask.

I think that is all for now.

Two simultaneous sources of music. Makes me all twitchy and peeved. Spent today trying to sort out my files, which rather required music to keep me awake. Unfortunately someone nearby was playing Wagner.

Hmm, I think I have though of a few more pet peeves.

1. Professors who give you homework like they think you are only taking their class that semester. I have three of them at the moment... lol. I haven't had a free weekend since I started back at school. Social life? What's that?

2. People who charge across the street without looking at the traffic. Sidenote, I once saw a little old lady do this in New York City... in front of a dump truck. I know if I did that, I'd get my butt run over the first time I tried it.

3. I will agree with the people who said drivers practically riding on their back bumper on their car. Gah! I rone Interstate and several highways almost every day, so this happens frequently. Then, when they zoom past you, they give you, the law abiding citizen going the speed limit, a dirty look. They have three other lanes, what is their problem??

That's enough for today.

I don't think I've seen any about smoking. Ok, yes, I'm not a smoker although I have smoked a cigarette here and there in the past (not in the last say 7 years). But here's my peeve: people breathing out their last breath of their cigarette into the elevator or hallway or whatever. In our city, you can't smoke in any public building. More than that, you can't smoke within 15 feet of the building. But I'm always walking into a building or elevator and it reeks of cigarette smoke. I've seen people take their last drag, stub out their cigarette, and not breathe out again until they are through the door. Stand by the ashtay and empty your lungs before entering the door!

I get fed up with people - usually women - who assume that I want to have children. Don't get me wrong, if I'm with someone who wants them, then there is a whole other discussion to be had, but if it was just up to me I'd be child-friendly, but child-free.

And I would love it if I didn't have to justify that choice all the time.

i'm peeved by other people who are admittedly ignorant about something taking the time to be peeved about other people's sexual interests that have absolutely nothing to do with them. gay porn, however, does not peeve me.

When someone is smoking in a non-smoking place and you point to the extremely large 'no smoking' sign and they look at you like YOU'RE in the wrong.

You can smoke and kill yourself, I really don't care, but just have a little consideration.

I don't like ...
- ... people that feel the need to grunt and sigh everytime they sit down or yawn or do whatever that isn't really all that exhausting.
- ... people that talk all day long, without once stopping to let me say anything.
- ... people that ask me something and don't wait to hear the answer.
- ... it when somebody really wants to be more pitiable than other people, they always have a story worse than mine. Why would you want to be pitied!?

I also really don't like any spelling or grammar mistakes and I'm very sorry if I made them in this post. My area of expertise is Dutch rather than English.

My pet peeve is (and I'm sure ladies you have heard this one soooo many times it is pathetic) when a man approaches me and ask me out. I upfront and tell him that I am gay. I'm not afraid to admit it so telling them outright is the best thing.
Well they get this big mocho thing going on where it's like "You just haven't found the right man baby. I'll convert ya."
OH PLEASE! What part of GAY do they not understand???? :gnome

And people who get right up in your face to talk to you. OMG I'll push them back. Done it before and if they don't like it, don't talk to me.
