You really did an outstanding job with the finale. I loved your idea to use 'scenes' from the other fics, but this had so much more. It makes a wonderful statement about fan fic in general:
That's what I love about this community, and enjoyed about this project. I think it's fitting that your story--the only canon of the bunch--was the lens through which the alternate universes/timelines were viewed, and I really liked their feelings/thoughts as they watched their other incarnations, especially this one:It was if they were meant to be together no matter when or where. Tara’s heart swelled at the thought of the love she and Willow shared, spanning time, places, and possibly even dimensions.
Can I just say "whoa!" I never even thought of it that way, but damn that was nicely put! Your use of sun was perfect, both in the ordinary (their daily lives) and the extraordinary (the Temple experience). You do such a great job of balancing heartfelt emotion with steamy sex, and throw in some awesome dialogue to boot!Ironically the water that could quench her thirst was what robbed her of it in the first place.
That was laugh out loud funny! The ending was absolutely lovely, but ultimately bittersweet, cause it's the end.Willow froze when she saw an unfamiliar mark on Tara’s lower back. “Baby, I think that what I think happened, did happen.”
Tara yanked her pants on and turned to her lover, “Do you think we had sex in a glowing ball of sunshine like I do?”
