I'm with Emms in thinking the fight one is GayNow's Coming Back....and I wonder whether the reference to good clean fun is Sally's UberSmut.

I'm too usually impatient to deal well with clues, though, so I'll wait for the answers before making more of an idiot of myself...

I was thinking that the Good Clean Fun was watty in reference to "Sex and the Clean City" which was one of the fic challenges. Hmmm.

I was also wondering if the Superconducting Supercollider/wisecracks was a reference to The Power of Positive Thinking by, um, me. :blush

I had the same thought about Good Clean Fun perhaps being Sex and the Clean City. And the 'fight' being the one in Coming Back, but that was only after I saw it suggested - I'm a bit of a doofus at guessing games (plus I was distracted by the words 'naked mud wrestling' :blush

)

My guesses and reasoning:

Chris -- the "not from this universe" comment suggests to me it's our resident king of uber.

Debra -- Willow's obsession with different coloured pens was in one of the early Menorah Tales chapters. And can we argue that "Elvis" is a brand name?

Sally -- wisecracks in a sub-atomic physics fic? yep yep.

me -- I think it refers to Clean City too; I'm surprised people remember it.

Emmy -- an inspirationally diverse talent ... yep, with writing, and beautiful drawings too.

Car -- the famous fight, what else?

Seeing there are 13 wallpapers in all, I have a pretty good idea who might be in that group of 13, but I'll wait for more clues and for May 1.

With regards to guessing, I must admit that I haven't read a lot of fics lately (I'm blamig it to RL) But I'm guessing that the one with art is Emms. Coz she's the only one I know who's both a good writer and a talented artist too.

i must say, many of you got most of the answers right, but i'm not confirming or denying anything... you'll just have to wait until may 1st.

so... you now have an idea who some of the authors we have decided to "immortalize" with our wallpapers, but you might still be wondering about the others... well, i've got just the thing for your curious brains.

but wait! i think we underestimated you guys with our first "teaser," so i just had to make it more challenging...

so here is what is going on... here is list of five stories that will be presented with a wallpaper, but instead of a summaries or quotables, i give you the feedbacks given by our very own kittens... easy enough you say? let's see if you can get them right!

Well, they take the screen caps of the scene they need, slap them on an empty file in photoshop, shake their magic mouse at them while saying the secret magic words (yep, we have magic words, and there's a special handshake as well) and after a few hours of brewing the wallpaper is ready!

It's easy, really!
