I haven't posted in this thread yet, naughty me. I thought I'd wait until a wallpaper was posted, even though I knew which one it would be. But, I love Tara's expression in this wallpaper, you an see the turmoil. It fits in nicely with the fic because of the anguish of "that argument" Good work, Ces.

I love the picture you used of Tara; It is so vivid and thoughtful. paired with the blended words around her really gives this piece a feel of reflection. I love the colors, too.

I can really feel the care you put into this creation. It's really wonderful. Now...I can't wait to see what more the Wallpaper Maniacs have in store for us kittens! hee hee

Wow, that's so great... I love the indistinct words, all overlapping and blended, like they're on the edge of being coherent, but not quite there, just a feeling, a sense of what they mean without having actual, plain meaning. Am I making sense? Maybe not. I love the wallpaper

Ceci, that is beautiful! You've done a thing here with the wallpaper that blends the narrative of the story and the feelings and angst of Chapter 13 into a visual that totally recreates what reading the chapter felt like. And it's beautiful. That picture of Tara also is one where she's looking more mature, and that's how I picture her in Coming Back.

Just wanted to throw in my two pesos and say what a beautiful wallpaper you've created! I love how the softness of Tara's face is contrasted by the texture of the title and the harsh font of the words in the background. That particular shot of Tara's face is so expressive, a good choice considering the context the story.

I also love the other graphics you posted, mainly the "Kitten Maniacs Wallpaper" banner. Great work, and looking forward to seeing the rest of them!

That is such a great wallpaper. Angsty, sure, but I like angst, so that's okay. It really captures how Tara feels about what happened between her and Willow. Not that we know what happened, or anything, because someone hasn't told us yet, but I digress.

Although I honestly haven't read "Coming Back" *looks down shamefully, hoping GayNow won't see this post* like Sith, I think I should put it in my check list of "to read fics" when I get the chance and time (I wish there's 30 hours in a day). But in the meantime, I'm thankful that there are talented kittens like you who've been supplying non-stop WT goodness in the form of WP and avatars. Oh! And I love the avatar!!!

Cecile, what an outstanding wallpaper! It's perfect, just perfect. You've captured the atmosphere of Tara's dream -- the fogginess; the way the words seem to bloat and undulate; and the play of a bright white light plus something dark just behind the words. I'm sure Car will agree ... this comes very close to how she pictured the dream in her mind ... well for me it does anyway.

Love the paper. It is beautiful! I've been reading the story 'Coming Back' and with everything going on it depicts the depth and beauty of the story with the exceptional colors and of course Tara's face being the first thing you see...WOW!

emms -- i'm really glad you like it! coming back is my favorite fic as well, so when i got assigned ms car, i knew this is her story i wanted to recreate visually... i'm glad you thought the tara picture i used for this wallpaper was perfect coz that's what i thought so to when i first laid eyes on it... it actually took me a while to finish with this piece coz i really wanted to capture the beauty and mystery of the dream sequence... i hope i was able to do just that.

The wallpaper is lovely, that picture of Tara that you chose captures her gloomy expression perfectly, the colors work especially well together, and I feel that the various fonts and words in the backgrounds is a nice touch. I actually have not read the story that this update is dedicated to, I have been slacking in that area, but because of this new wallpaper I am about to start.
